An interesting and informative journey through the different varieties of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Some incredible tastes, certainly a lot of different variety, and extremely informative staff giving a presentation that they really seem to enjoy. Possibly expensive, but for us, well worth the experience.

Marcela the owner's is my Guatemalan niece! The ambience is awesome earthy and green decor which was made from native Guatemalan women. The olive oil is amazing and learning the difference between the varieties is highly informative. There are many places you can do an olive oil tasting but THIS IS THE ONE! Do not waste your time going anywhere else. And when you come to Napa do the olive oil tasting as well as the wine. Only thing is man they fill you up! Almost ruined my supper!

Amazing place, with amazing staff, and even amazing oil. Did an impromptu tasting and it was fantastic, since we were headed back to Napa for a late lunch. Great quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Soooo good. They also have wine which I'll gladly try next time. Also had some olive oil tasting. Yup, signed up to be a member! Next time I'll definitely carve out time to do the actual tasting - now that I''m a coveted member! Yes, it's pricey and it's the quality you're paying for - the storefront is beautiful and quite inviting, couple with the vibe in Napa Valley, this is a great stop for olive oil lovers like me! The story is quite special too, so check it out.

As a local it is amazing to find a spot that knows how to do customer service the right way. Great experience!

My boyfriend and I came to do an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting recently. It was a very nice place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were really nice and friendly the entire time. Emily - the one who led us through the tasting - is absolutely sweet and made the entire experience super fun! I almost felt bad because we asked so many questions, but she was super welcoming and informative. The different samples of olive oil and balsamic vinegar were really delicious! The snacks paired alongside were really good too. I would have to say the olive oil cake was to die for! We asked if we could have the recipe and turns out they have them on their website!! Absolutely would come here again! Maybe to one of their high tea events.

Did a walk in on Monday morning at 1015 and we were sat down right away. Tour stated it was 45 mins but it was longer. Give yourself a little more time. We learned a lot of olive oil and balsamic, not boring at all. Location was very pretty and clean. Ended up buying some gifts to take home and signed up for the membership. Shipping is a little on the high side but next time we will just pick up and check in our bag.

Amazing experience to try and learn so much about olive oil production and taste the difference. The walls have hand painted French wall paper which is a perfect setting. Amberly was a fantastic educator and we loved our experience. Yes, we will return!

I was looking for an Olive oil tasting experience and Grove 45 was recommended by our concierge. It was a memorable one! The place is absolutely beautiful and has its own story. As you drive in there is a blue building adored in art which has hold great meaning to the owners. Grove 45 is entirely women owned and operated. During the tasting, we were treated with 4 types of olive oil (we loved the one made from the 2022 harvest and the eevo--- tasted like butter), two kinds of balsamic vinaigrette (traditional and sweet), popcorn with truffle salt, some delicious focaccia and of course a glass of rosae. Kristi and her sweet assistant did a wonderful job painting a picture of Grove 45's history, story, and processs. Their finale was dessert... olive oil ice cream and olive oil cake--- a deadly combo! Of course I had to purchase a couple of oils, their traditional balsamic vinaigrette, truffle salt and corn on a cob popcorn. Thank you, Kristi and team for the unique tasting experience!

Wonderful experience. Fantastic variety of olive olives and vinegar. The presentation and experience is blended nicely to highlight each of the flavors. It was great to have multiple "courses" that gave us time to enjoy and reflect upon each variety. Don't be mislead by the cost for a tasting. Incredible value, especially if you want an education and environment that is calming and wonderful. Our "host", Emily was kind and friendly. She was incredibly knowledgeable and made the day all the better. Highly recommend coming here between or after your wine tasting.

An excellent tasting of spectacular extra virgin oils and balsamic vinegars, each paired with scrumptious small bites to complement each flight. Such a unique and curated experience that you will not forget. I am local and this is truly a one-of-a-kind tasting. The service by Charlie and Carolina was above and beyond. Run, don't walk to Grove 45. It is a must see for any visitor (and local) to Napa Valley.

Our tasting experience at Grove 45 was a memorable and fantastic experience. Our host walked us through the history of the company, the oils and vinegars with ease. The small food bite were to die for. The focaccia, popcorn with truffle salt and olive oil, and the sweet finish of olive oil cake and ice cream were some of the best bites we had in the region! The tasting room is super cute. My mom and I were so impressed by the product, we both purchased the homegrown olive oil and the aged balsamic. Currently only have a rose to taste but will soon have some reds and whites to pair with the olive oils!

We had a 10:30 appointment this morning for the olive oil tasting. Absolutely beautiful grounds and upon entering the tasting room you're greeted with smiles and welcomes! Extremely interesting talk about the history of the olive oils and the farm. We had an amazing hostess, presenting with the various oils and balsamic vinegars, with food pairings. I would highly recommend booking a tasting, you won't be disappointed.

Olive oil is fine. Just know it's $40 per person for a tasting that gets you a small tasting that includes very little food.

No one greeted us or acknowledged us at the entrance, so we were left standing around unsure of what to do until a busser finally asked if we were dining in. He brought us water, but after that, no one came back to check on us or even give us menus. We actually had to grab menus ourselves from the front stand. After waiting quite a while, we had to call the busser over ourselves to let someone know we were ready to order. He told us he wasn't our server and just stood there looking at us, so I asked if he could please get the server for us instead. He responded that the server was "a little busy right now." Meanwhile, the server was behind the bar continuing whatever they were doing and never once acknowledged us. At that point, we felt completely ignored and unwelcome, so we decided to get up and leave. Basic customer service, communication, and attentiveness would have gone a long way

The wine tasting was in their olive oil tasting room. It was cute, tastefully decorated & had good feminine energy. Nice for pics. The wines were fun to taste. We were warmly greeted by the young owners, siblings Marcela & Jorge who had been operating a custom crush facility and olive oil business prior to this newest endeavor. The tasting area is chicly decorated and more importantly, the wines were all good. The rose is done in the crisp French/Provence style, and the sauv blanc had a fresh acidic but not over-the-top profile. We tried their uncommon Charbono varietal that reminded me of a lighter Pinot Noir. Jorge also brought us a taste of a Spring Mtn Cabernet from their separate label Ezeta named after their great, great grandfather that was excellent. In a highly competitive Napa valley, I hope these two entrepreneurs continue to do great things.

A cozy tasting room, with intimate seating and a really fun selection of wine unlike anything I've ever had. I see a couple of reviews here complaining about party size limits and the timing of final tastings. I unfortunately witnessed the same level of entitlement from a group of 13 people who came in asking to be seated 45 min before closing. First, read the web site. Tasting room rules and requirements have been changing since COVID. This should be nothing new. It was kindly explained to the large group that the tasting room was full, that they only accept small parties, and the last tasting is at 4 pm. Once, that detail was explained to one person in the group, another would ask the same questions and would receive the same answer. Hannah politely declined THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE in the group before their final entitled and 'intimidating tactic': asking Hannah or Alyssa if they were the owners (they are not). The woman declared "we're all business owners and we wouldn't turn away a party of 13 people that could bring money into our business". Good for you, 'Susan'! Tank employees are purely following their business policy, which is clearly stated on their web site and don't run your business. Her final intimidation tactic was to ask for the owner's information-- which she didn't take--and the group finally left. Good riddance. Tank is NOT the winery for you, Other than the experience of yet another group of entitled wypipo ruining the tasting experience of those of us already there, we had a wonderful experience, bought a membership, and will be back again. This is the atmosphere and environment that my partner and I enjoy with the types of kind and knowledgeable employees we love who will smile through all types of garbage shoveled at them with no problem. If folks complaining about arbitrary things had othered to look at the website for specifics, perhaps they'd move on instead of trying to intimidate their way into another situation

Boasting high ceilings with exposed wood beams and a beautifully decorated bar area, the space oozes with rustic class and would make a great venue for any party or group gathering. We, however, came in for a sit down lunch with two kids and the small lounge seats and tables were not the best setup for a family meal. Which is the only thing keeping me from giving this place five stars. Similarly, the menu was also catered more to adults, with plenty of vegan options but very few items suitable for kids. That's not a knock on this place, just something to take note of. As a result, we opted to snack on a few items and the caviar and duck fat fries did not disappoint. The espresso martini with pumpkin foam was also excellent. But the really cool part about this place is the vintage train cars, each intricately decorated and offering their own dining/drinking experience. For example, one offers an oyster bar with underwater decor while another features a cowboy bar with real saddles as bar seats. The cleverness in design and attention to detail is impressive and is what makes this place special. I doubt there is a more interesting place to have lunch in Calistoga. I'm a fan of what they're doing here and would love to come back. Minus the kids of course.
