Grounded cafe has a great thing going. This is truly a hidden gem tucked inside the senior center of downtown Green Bay. When we approached the cafe a delightful employee greeted us with a warm smile and gave us an introduction of the menu. The coffee is amazing and the prices can't be beat. Everything is made to order along with a nice selection of fresh baked goods and coffee drinks. They also have a lot of hot breakfast and lunch options. We stopped in on a rainy Saturday morning and they had live music. Drop on by for a cup of joe and a warm atmosphere, you won't be disappointed

    Tasty cheddar and bacon quiche!

This is a great weekday breakfast or lunch spot. It is also open on Farmer's Market Saturdays. From their menu - The Grounded Café is your downtown coffee spot with a BIG HEART! Through a job skills training program, Grounded Café provides opportunities to breakdown stereotypes of "old" and "disabled" individuals. By coming together, we focus on ABILITIES. I learned, also, since it's opening, three baristas in training have found jobs in the community. What great joy to see beaming smiles from behind the counter, that you can practically taste it in the food. I had a hot chocolate with whipped cream and a cheddar and bacon quiche. The pastry of the quiche was very flaky and the eggs with the bacon and cheddar were very "eggcellent". The building this is in is also very accessible. More of a cafeteria feel, it was still very comfortable. I will be coming back and supporting this local business and program again!

Excellent lunch selections, and now they have online ordering!!! It is so convenient to order, pay online, and drop on in, only to walk right out with my lunch in hand. I really love how you can make any sandwich a salad! The chicken Caesar salad and the garden salad are two of my go-to's. My other all time favorite is the Henrietta chicken salad wrap.

Grounded Cafe is tucked inside the ADRC so I wasn't aware of it until my friend and I grabbed coffee there before the farmer's market, what a find! They serve local coffee, La Java which is my favorite coffee shop. We went to the market and then returned for breakfast, and I am so glad we did. When you walk in the first thing you notice is the beautiful aroma of the cinnamon scones, and then notice the bright open space with all kinds of seating options and a cozy fireplace. The staff is friendly and helpful and more than happy to chat about the menu and the cafe or anything else you want to talk about. The food is amazing, I had the breakfast pizza which is made exactly how you want it from the crust up, so flavorful and just right size for a satisfying breakfast. My friend had the baked oatmeal with almonds and cranberries, again made to her specifications and she said it was quite good. They also have a large number of lunch items including wraps and salads. Definitely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed and you are helping a great community cause. There are plenty of USB ports and charging spots for the techies also!

Stopped in for breakfast and had a delightful time. The breakfast quiche was delicious! I loved my cold brew coffee and espresso milkshake (generation milkshake)! The workers were all very helpful. The atmosphere is happy and clean! What a wonderful community space in Green Bay!

This is a hidden downtown gem! It should be way more popular than it is. Easily as good or better than the other downtown breakfast places.

A lot of my life with my dad has been spent in a rush. Rushing from what I never really understood…read moretil I got older. We've found ourselves in this particular moment, him 5 years sober, me 26 and often confusing experiences of pain and pleasures on the thin ice of addiction. Today we are in wisconsin, visiting family, having coffee to stay at a cafe my grandma recommended we go to. She has my tiny brother, so it's just my dad and I, how things were for 16 years. We work as a team to find free parking. We love doing team things to save a dollar, a minute, or find a loophole. We decide on our coffees, and when the barista asks if we'll have them to stay my dad says yes, which brings a smile to my mind. He suggests we share this berry oat bar thing. One thing I find so charming about his sobriety is his need for sweets. It's somewhere in trainspotting 2 that mark tells spud "you'll always be an addict. You just have to find something else to get addicted to." I think of this when i see him with a big fat bowl of ice cream after dinner and a new exciting hobby every other month. I think of this when I consider what my life might be like if I decide to admit some things to myself sooner than later. But right now it's me and my father, having coffee to stay in cute mugs, no rushing, no changing things, just farting around in a midwest summer.

Picked up a chocolate croissant and an almond croissant from Voyageurs at the farmers' market by St. Brendan's Inn, where I am staying. Both were delicious, and the almond croissant was huge! I've been snacking on that throughout the day. I mentioned to them that Yelp has them listed as being open until 2 AM on Friday night. They clarified that they close at 2 PM on Friday's, like the rest of the week. Nice folks, very kind and helpful. Their breads looked delectable as well.

First, the sour dough bread is absolutely amazing! Some of the best I've ever had…read more We will definitely continue purchasing the bread. We won't go in for brunch again though. I ordered toast, crispy potatoes, a side of bacon. My daughter ordered eggs Benedict . My order came and the waitress had forgot to put in the potatoes . This was after confirming the order twice. When the potatoes came it was a small portion swimming in some kind of spicy seasoned oil. For $8 I would have expected a bit more portion wise. The bacon was fine. Nothing remarkable, and $4 for two slices. The toast and jam was ok. The toast bordered on burnt and was served without butter. The jam was more like a strained strawberry puree. The toast was tasty, except for the slightly burnt top. The eggs Benedict was $22. For that price they should be stellar! The English muffin had burnt bits, the hollandaise was ok, nothing special , the ham was tasty , but the egg was poached way past the point you would want or expect with eggs Benedict . There was a side of thinly sliced zucchini and squash that was quite tasty . Again, terrific bread- but we will skip the dine in options.
