We had terrible service during performance. Manager did make up for it with a round of drinks. Rockin Dopsie was amazing and played for 2.5 hours. Really enjoyed the entertainment-can't see this in Arizona.

We were so excited to finally come here and eat! The food was really good, especially when you have little expectations for "bar" food. The fried Gouda was delicious. The drinks were great and our burgers with the blueberry bbq sauce was out of this world! The blueberry bbq sauce is so amazing, it needs to be a staple bbq sauce everywhere!!!!! Our server was great, helpful and friendly. The place is just amazing with good blues music.

    Amazing venue!

The place to be if you are in Biloxi!! Definitive Biloxi Blues!! Great music and artists, food and drink, vibe and fun...only the good times roll at Ground Zero! This place is iconic Mississippi Delta Blues -- catch some of the hottest and most talented musicians in the south and nationally play a venue you have to put on your bucket list. Located in beautiful downtown Biloxi and its historic streets -- the place is one of the premiere spots to catch live music, great for dates, or just a night out with friends. The service is spectacular and you know you are always welcome in a place like this. If you're in town, don't miss a night out and experience the best music and blues music anywhere in the South! ;-)

A must stop in Biloxi. We rope dropped it and went in at opening. Music already live and happy hour in force!! Sat at the bar. Perused the menu and ordered a drink. Decided on some food. Couldn't pass up a bologna biscuit. Omg so good. I am used to sandwiches but this biscuit rocked. The bbq sauce was so good. Sam was so nice behind the bar. Gave me a flight on the fly to pick a beer I liked. Loved this place and the vibe.

My wife and I headed to Biloxi for the Queensrÿche concert and decided we needed to get something to eat before the show. And since our heads were in Mississippi, a blues and BBQ club seemed like the perfect spot to enjoy a late lunch. We came in, and they were sound checking for the band that would be playing that night. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the food and their specials, making several suggestions for our meal. The girl was very good at her job. My wife had the Prime Rib Sliders and fries special, which she enjoyed very much. She said the Prime Rib was very flavorful and juicy, and the accompanying fries were amazing, as I tried them myself. The fries were thick, crunchy on the outside, soft and hot on the inside, and they were tossed in a great blend of seasonings. Quite simply, these are some of the best fries I've ever eaten. I'm definitely going to remember them for a return trip there. I had The Real Deal BBQ Sammie, which was basically a pulled pork sandwich with Jim Beam BBQ sauce and a pile of tasty slaw. As a pulled pork sandwiches go, this was pretty special. The pork was sufficiently smoky, the slaw was great, very flavorful with a good crispness to it. I rate this in my top five pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had. All in all, this was a lovely experience, one that would be really top tier excellent if I were to return when live blues music was playing. It's a short drive over there, so I may have to find out soon.

We visited Ground Zero for a Friday night blues show. There's street parking in front and a lot in the back. We purchased a table well in advance and were able to quickly be seated upon arrival. The show was great and I highly recommend reserving a table. The open seating is in the backyard and it didn't seem like they had good visibility. I'm not able to comment on food or drinks because we ate ahead of time.

I had the opportunity to visit twice on my most recent trip and I loved it both times! The first time was just for a couple drinks before we had to leave for another event but the awesome bartender made delicious drinks even when I told him to just surprise me! The next day two of my friends and I went back for brunch and everything was absolutely amazing! We also want to visit our girl Cassidy who is the best bartender in the world! We might be a little biased but it's still true! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and I need to go back to try things that I wasn't able to this time! The vibe there is so much fun and I love the decor. It will definitely be a staple location for me! Anytime you're in Biloxi don't forget to stop downtown for a delicious drink and some fabulous food!

I recently visited Biloxi, MS to see my pals the Kudzu Kings play at Ground Zero Blues Club. I've been to Biloxi many times but I've never visited the Ground Zero Blues Club which might be because it only opened back in 2022. This location of Ground Zero Blue Club is the second one and the original Ground Zero Blues Club was opened up back in 2001 in Clarksdale, Mississippi with actor Morgan Freeman as one of the co-owners. The original Ground Zero Blues Club has had a successful history of great live music and Southern food which includes a noted burger. To get directly to my experience here I have to say I was quite disappointed in this place as a music venue as there really isn't a way you can stand in front of the stage so you have to be seated like at a dinner club to watch the music... which isn't the way I like to watch my pals the Kudzu Kings perform. I also would have to say there are definitely some bad seats in the house as about half of the seats in this joint don't get a clear view of the stage. When it comes to food here I had the burger and it was actually quite a good burger but service was really lacking as I requested a lemon for my iced tea FOUR times and NEVER received my lemon! Overall I just don't think I would want to watch another performance here with the current venues setup. Getting here from New Orleans takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes and the the trip is 89 miles each way. That is quite a distance to go to be denied a lemon for my iced tea and then to be seated in a place with a terrible view of the music without an option to have a stage standing area! They do have quite a selection of some nice looking food items I wouldn't mind trying at some point. I really think they can do much better at what they do here in many ways as this venue really has the potential to be a fantastic joint! First off, our waitress was a delight and properly trained. She did a great job and was helpful in answering our questions. We started with apps of the truffle fries and the brussels. The brussels were delish; the fries were tasty but they were standard thin-cut frozen kind, and though they did have a nice flavor of truffle and a snowing of parm, they didn't taste like they were fried in truffle oil but it was spritz on after the fry. They were good, just seemed to employ shortcuts. For heavier apps we ordered the baby lamb chops... I make lamb chops at home and they're amazing; when dining out it's always hit or miss. There's a fat that lamb has that if not trimmed off it gives off a very off-putting flavor. These had that flavor and I was so disappointed. And if you see my pic of the dish, I'm not sure what was happening with the sauce sloshed all over the rim of the dish. On another note, my hubs ordered oysters and said were delish. Moving on... I chose trout topped with lump crab which was on par with other places I've had it. And we also ordered wine, which I'll note for anyone interested that the bottles are priced exactly double than if you buy it at the store. I expect there to be a mark up, but just know what to expect. Combined, it was a delightful meal in a beautiful setting with a menu and presentation that like feels they strive to keep old school finer dining alive and overall we enjoyed experiencing it even with the minor downsides of some of the dishes we had. The stars reflect my review weighing of the atmosphere, service, menu variety, quality, and price.

The fries, in particular, were some of the best I've had in a long time--perfectly crisp and flavorful. Even the ketchup was outstanding (yes, the ketchup!)--I wish I could keep a bottle of it stocked in my own kitchen. As for drinks, I had the best cognac Negroni I've ever experienced, crafted by Dylan. It was beautifully balanced and expertly composed--truly a spectacular cocktail I won't soon forget. Impressed, I asked him to make my espresso martini as well. Once again, he delivered a perfectly balanced drink that took me by surprise and served as the ideal finale to the evening. Right on the Gulf, standing tall like it owns the coastline (because honestly, it kind of does), this is the spot you go when you want to look good, feel sharp, and remind yourself what a real resort feels like. Clean, polished, upscale marble, light, and just enough swagger to let you know you're not in an average casino. It's not the place chasing you down with drinks every five minutes. Nah this is slower, intentional. The kind of place where the glass is heavy, the pour is right, and the whole room feels like it's got a reputation to uphold. It was late and we were tired. The decent places off the freeway were fully booked. The concierge at one of them recommended Gulf Hills, and luckily, they had the two rooms we needed. It's very chic. The front desk and main building is swanky and cool- like the conference room is behind a bookshelf, the hotel has an interesting history, and they sell wine at the front desk. The staff was professional and helpful. The rooms were quaint in a cool way, clean (spotlessly so), and comfortable. The bed was comfy. I got some good sleep. The location is in a nice, pretty, safe neighborhood and is close to things you might need. For example, if you arrive late and miss out on Capones (like we did) there is a Dennys nearby- and say what you will, but they have something for everyone. There's also a Walmart (one of the nicer ones) right by the Dennys for any other essentials you might need late at night. There is another restaurant nearby that's open late and is more upscale, as well. In sum: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable, clean.
