If you ever find yourself on the coast of the southern states, go here. Ocean Springs is as pretty as it's name implies. But the Julep Room which is under Aunt Jenny's Catfish restaurant is a fun place to kick back and soak up some live music. Every night they have live acts and great drink specials. The ancient oak trees that speckle the parking lot are such welcome shade when the Mississippi sun is forcing you to melt into nothing. Get down into that cool cellar and soak up the atmosphere of where Elvis use to hang out in the 50's & 60's... Yeah that's right, that was one of his favourite spots when he toured the coast... Very cool.

Yes!…read moreIf you want to hang out in a dive bar, drink cold beer and listen to live music....well come on down! The bartender was hustling and as quick as he could be (only one). But it wasn't too crazy. There are some tables and a U shaped bar to sit. The crowd is friendly too! This place feels like a dive bar! Dark and tucked away. But the 2 piece band was fun and pretty good. American Idols? No, but live music to chill out with, definitely! Parking is tight during the peak dining hours of the 2 restaurants but we walked out of Anthony's at 9:30 and it seemed like there were a few open spots. There are some Elvis photos and dare I say "shrine " LOL but my husband got a kick out of it. After all, Elvis was here in the 50 or 60's when he was seeing a Biloxi girl. Go hang out and pick up the vibe they are throwing down! Cheers

I urge you not to do open tabs in this area! There was only one bartender that whole day . Her name was Hannah . She was swamped so could it have been an accident who knows . This is what we found out about this establishment. It has no business phone number I mean anywhere . Yet the owner owns five other bars over there with business phone numbers -check fb other people have noticed this . That's very shady so how can you call to dispute anything even our credit card company tried to contact them. This establishment also portrays itself as a trendy bar well 1. It's a very small bar and they don't have a lot of high end liquor. 2. No one is talking about this. they don't have a parking lot nope the parking lot you see belongs to the business beside it. What they do have is golf cart parking in the front lol cause we all use golf carts right. Very pretentious! You will have to park many blocks away and some might not be pleased with that. We weren't honestly. To the drinks hey she made good drinks not going to lie but was it worth the headache my husband was put through nope . So if you are an out of towner Be very careful at every bar in this area !! Dont do open tabs! I do not recommend this place at all ! I say avoid any bar over there like the plague . It's not worth it!
