We tried to be friendly, but she wasn't very talkative. She wasn't rude or anything, just shy and a touch awkward, so we give service 4 stars. First off, Carly, the gal behind the counter when we were there was awesome. Very patient with us as we browsed the menu. We each had a Caramel Macchiato. They were fantastic!!! When we got there the kitchen had just closed but Carly was kind enough to tell us about what they do when they open food service back up a 4pm. They serve food from their food truck (actually, it's the coolest food service trailer). Being from NYC, I enjoy street food like nobody's business. That being said, we're very excited to try their (hot) dogs and ((French) fries. We will definitely be back. Before we left, we met two regular patrons. Got talking to them about everything iCrave. Extremely disappointed with my experience at iCrave Coffee…read more I have been DoorDashing from iCrave for many months and have always enjoyed their coffee, so I was genuinely disappointed by what I experienced when I finally went into the location this past weekend. Saturday's visit was okay. My coffee wasn't made correctly, even after I explained what I wanted multiple times, but it was still drinkable and I didn't make a big deal out of it. Sunday was a completely different experience. While looking at the pastries, I noticed fruit flies everywhere inside the display case. There were flies all over the bagels and around the pastries. Honestly, it was absolutely disgusting and immediately made me question the cleanliness of the food and the establishment. We made the employees aware of what we were seeing, but the response seemed very unbothered. What made things even worse was seeing one employee handle the trash and then go right back to preparing pastries for another customer without washing her hands. I understand that things happen, but cleanliness and proper food-handling practices should never be something customers have to worry about, especially when it comes to food being served to the public. It's especially disappointing because I had been a loyal customer through DoorDash for months and had a completely different perception of iCrave before seeing what was happening behind the counter. Unfortunately, after what I witnessed this weekend, I will not be returning. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously because this is something that needs to be addressed.
