We ended up going here late in our trip and I completely regret it. Everything we got was delicious! Better than a lot of the over priced restaurants in the area! The staff is great and the place is very classy for a market. Great wines and good food. Why would you go anywhere else?

They also have a few rows of spices, pastas and sauces. We ended up with a couple of bison tenderloin, elk tenderloin, a couple of really big burgers, some coleslaw, roasted vegetables and baked beans with brisket. We also picked up a bottle of local BBQ sauce. Service was friendly. We enjoyed everything. Oddly enough, both their coleslaw and baked beans were unexpectedly spicy. Thankfully the roasted vegetables were not spicy. We enjoyed the meats. The only downside, we found the same BBQ sauce at a different store for $3.00 less than we paid. Otherwise a really nice shop, just beware of the spicy slaw and beans.

I asked the staff what sandwich they recommended and mentioned the Turkey & Avocado PLT ($13.50) was the most popular and their favorite. It was a good choice! Casual atmosphere and welcoming staff made it an overall positive experience.

We discovered Mavens Market because we were in search of brunch and the favorable reviews on Yelp brought us here. The four of us each ordered their own breakfast item. * Eggs & Ham $13 * Greek Goddess $13 * Avocado & Tomato Toast $13 x 2 First off, the bread they use for the sandwiches is so good and they do a superb job getting such a great toast on it. I tried both the Eggs & Ham and the Greek Goddess and they were both very tasty. (Each of my kids had their own Avocado & Tomato Toast, and they were not sharing nor did they have any leftovers.) It does take a little while for the sandwiches to be made, so don't come here if you're in a rush. (They also have a steady line up of orders coming in for pick up, so just be aware.) The great thing it that it gives you a chance to check out their cheese shop. We actually returned a few hours later to grab some lunch and got a couple of different sandwiches this time. *The Full Maven $13 *Grilled Mozzarella Panini $13 Again, both sandwiches were really good and traveled well. I actually saved half and reheated it on the pan the next day. It was still very good. The cheese shop next door is adorable. I love wandering through shops like these and would probably visit often if I lived in town. Since we were flying out in a few hours, I had to resist purchasing anything since we only brought carry-ons. I was very tempted though! But you can easily find anything and everything you would want for a charcuterie board, night out, picnic, etc. I could have easily filled a whole basket of yumminess to enjoy.

But, my husband and I decided to bite the bullet. There aren't many options for Christmas Eve dining in town anyway. Our waitress, who seemed to also be one of the bartenders was very sweet. We sat close to the entrance so we got a little cold when the front doors opened but it wasn't bad overall. The interior was very cute and inviting. We ordered way too much food but I'll break it down dish by dish... * Lemon Drop: Worth every penny. I wish I had more in a glass. * Bone Marrow: Not bad. It could have used a tad more seasoning but the sourdough bread definitely helped elevate the flavor. I wish the bread was toasted but no big deal. * French Onion Soup: Delicious! My husband hates onions but loved the soup here. It was especially tasty on a semi-cold Christmas Eve night. * 16 oz. Ribeye: Cooked perfectly. I love a cast iron seared steak and the beef tallow made it even better. We decided to split a steak - already knowing we'd order way more than two people could eat. * Lobster Mac & Cheese: It was much better than I was expecting. * Heirloom Baby Carrots: There was something about this dish that just didn't do it for me. I'm not sure if it was the spices, or lack of, but still better than others. * Cornbread skillet: A reliable side if it's something you're craving but nothing to write home about. * Cookie skillet: Not very exciting. The cookie was okay but the huckleberry ice cream made it much better. * Dow's 10-year: Treat yourself! This port was the perfect balance of sweet and smooth. My husband also ordered french fries and there was nothing special about 'em. He's not a fan of truffle fries so these were plain. I personally think the truffle fries would have been a better option. All in all, our bill was about $240. Definitely not an every day dining experience for us but we're happy to come back, with a few menu alterations, on special occasions.

It's especially nice when some other local steakhouses are no longer around. The ambiance definitely had a country western theme. We ordered Rocky Mountain oysters as an appetizer. I've had them in numerous other places and I thought these were the most "Stringy" or "tough" kind of like there were strings of meat that didn't want to let go... so it wasn't incredibly mouth pleasing but I know it's probably more the bulls fault than the restaurants fault! prime rib I had was cooked very well and the au jus had good flavor is probably the reason for the 4th star. They did forget my mushrooms though so it keeps it at a 4 star for me. We will be back though to try it again. The bar next door has a large dance floor with the live music so that is nice.

No one's steak had any seasoning and if you're looking for a steak that's as tough as a lamp made by Ed Gein, this is your place.
