I called to inform him of the issue and asked if I'd be able to ride to the mechanic. He agreed! Chris was so nice on the phone. My drop off for my car was between 4 & 6. I called Chris on a Friday to schedule my tow the next day and gave him the time frame of my drop off. He said they had some tows scheduled early in the afternoon & would call before on their way for mine. I ended up calling around 4 to check if they only accept cash for tows & Chris explained he would be there in about 15-20 minutes & that they have no way to run credit cards from the truck, so only cash would be accepted. When they came to pick up my car, it was all downhill lol. My car hadn't moved in 2-3 months. The brakes had locked and it couldn't get pushed onto the truck. We also tried jumper cables to jump it but that didn't work because the gas was a little low & again it hasn't been started for awhile. Chris & his buddy hooked up the car with a chain and steered it on to the truck. $60 (6miles total) my car was on it's way to the shop. Since my car was just a drop off at mechanic , I didn't have to be there / ride with them but it was nice to know the option was there. Thanks again guys!!!!

COMPOSITE REVIEW A…read morelocal neighborhood shop where everyone "knows your name." Convenient, reliable, honest and helpful. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Now that folk are keeping their automobiles MUCH longer than ever before, business in the maintenance/repair of older autos is booming. Smart "small shop" operators know the satisfaction of clientele keeps people coming back for the "little things" that often become "big things." Recently I went in for a muffler repair to find out my old car needed (really... ) rear brakes, fuel line replacement, steering line replacement, and a few other things. My car is routinely "maintained" (was...) at a Buick dealership so to find out (and see it visually myself) just how "unmaintained" it was -- irritatingly shocking. f8 and be there.

I recently took our Honda to the Wagners after I got smashed by an 18 wheeler on the Fort Duquesne…read moreBridge. This is a very honest, scrupulous business. The Wagners are very honest about timetables and costs. They are good about telling you what various options you have for parts, types of repairs, etc so you understand what the opportunity costs are with respect to time, money, convenience, and quality. They are also very responsive about looping customers in on communication with the insurance companies. I appreciated that the Wagners were willing to explain auto body 101 concepts to me -- they are humble and there is no talking down or condescension when repairs/car issues are being explained. On sort of a side note, by talking to Rob I learned a lot about car bodies and just generally got some bigger picture insight into car repairs, the insurance industry, and supply chain issues. The Wagners just come across as being very decent and thoughtful guys. And not least of all, the quality of the repair is fantastic. The car looks like new and feels new. Even though I live in the eastern part of the city of Pittsburgh and the Wagners are out in a northern suburb, I would make them my first choice for future big repairs. I recommend the Wagners in the strongest, most certain terms.

Rob Wagner Auto Body is truly amazing. I had to have a smart windshield replaced in my Subaru Crosstrek and not only did they work around my ridiculous schedule multiple times, but gave me several repair options and explained everything they were doing. They had my windshield replaced sooner than they had promised, and even completely cleaned my horribly dirty car from top to bottom, inside and out, at no additional cost. Also, I had to have a rental car for 2 days during the process, and they drove me to Enterprise and also allowed me to leave my rental car at their shop when I came to pick up my Subaru, and they returned the car to enterprise. I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. I have had Yelp since 2016 and had never taken the time to leave a review until I had this experience at Rob Wagner Auto body. Would definitely recommend all my friends and family to go there.
