Anyway - I'm so happy to be able to trust Morgan and Linda with making my furbaby look AND feel great! They removed all her dead and matted hair, especially from her neck and tail where it'd started to get pretty bad and were difficult for me to brush out on my own. She had so much dead hair caught up in her fluffiness that she had a more grey tone to her color. Now she's back to her shiny black! I thought she was getting more grey with age - but no she just needed a solid grooming! They shaped her to perfection, my cute lil poof! Like a soot-sprite from Spirited Away ;) Most surprising of all, she was ecstatic when I arrived to pick her up. Not for me, though!! She wanted to stay there with Morgan! I'm used to her bolting for the door, like "get me outta here!" But for the first time ever after the groomers, she hung back and barked at Morgan for more attention. Not once during that call did anyone mention I'd need to bring vaccination records. I drove half an hour from Marysville, brought my senior mother along because she loves helping wash my dog, and when I arrived they couldn't locate my dog in their system. They explained new ownership acquired the business about a year ago, then told me they couldn't serve me without my dog's rabies records on hand -- which I have, but had no reason to bring since no one told me to. When I asked for a one-time exception given the drive and the fact that I'd called first, the employee flatly refused, insisting it was "required by state law" that they verify vaccination records for every animal. That is simply false. Washington has no such law. Requiring proof may be their store policy, and that's their right -- but lying to a customer's face to justify it is not. No apology. No accommodation. No acknowledgment that their own phone staff failed to inform me. Over an hour of my day and my mother's wasted. I won't be back, and I'd encourage others to think twice before trusting what this business tells you.

The cat was was incredibly dirty, had a bad case of the fleas that i addressed with a topical 2 days before i began looking for an appt for her. I contacted this groomer in the morning around 645AM with a text message within which i inquired about scheduling, procedure, and my sense of urgency. They replied very promptly, surprisingly, around 8AM with clarification questions about the hair length and whether or not the fleas are still alive on her body or not. They also informed me they were booked up at least 2-3 weeks in advance. As soon as i realized i had received a reply i immediately replied at 10:50. i was under the expectation that they would be offering me their soonest available appt. We started…read morebringing our three miniature toy schnauzer here a few months ago when our neighbors Chris and Christy stopped over at our Camano Island house with there two schnauzers. We asked where they took there dogs to get groomed and they raved about Pets Ahoy. So we gave them a shot and now we bring them here one a month. All three pups come out looking amazing and they are super fast getting them groomed. Usually in two hours all three are done. Our other groomer took all day meaning we would have to drop them off at 8am and usually get a call around 3-4pm to pick them up. Pets Ahoy Grooming is super close to our Camano Houses which makes us love bringing them here. Prices are reasonable compared to the other groomers we tried in Downtown Arlington.
