Truly the best experience we've had with a grooming salon. The staff is super friendly and very professional. The salon is so clean and they even have a retail area with adorable toys. We are so happy to support this business and have a standing monthly appointment! read more

Two fancy cuts for two fluffy boys beautifully executed!!! Will be back again! Found Groom through Bentley on Instagram. What a find. Love them. read more

I just had my poodle mix groomed here. Her cut has symmetry, and I am very happy on how it turned out. Her fur is not really like a pure poodle's, texture is different (softer) but they achieved the look I wanted for her. Will be bringing Skye here regularly. Thank you GROOM! read more

I read all the great Yelp reviews and decided to give GROOM a try. We just moved here from NYC and I was in search of a good groomer because my little Bichon/Poodle mix is a very nervous dog when it comes to strangers and grooming. I have to give him medication to mellow him out. They did a beautiful job on him and he's so fluffy and his cut is adorable. I made another appointment for 6 weeks from now. I am so glad I found this place. read more

Groom! did a great job calming our nervous pup down for her first proper clean up. She was so content with her groomer (Eric) that she stuck by his side after he was done. read more

Love this place! They do a great job with my very cowardly dog. Super customer service too.

I took our toy Aussie to Groom for the first time. It was a terrific experience. I've had issues with other groomers in the past and I was very happy with the results. He looked like a new dog!! read more

This was our puppy's (and my) first grooming experience - I was blown away by the level of care and sincerity not just for my boy but for me :). Leo has a great new summer 'do and had a great time at the salon! read more

Jennifer did the hand holding (mine emotionally) and Rachel the grooming for our poodle's first haircut. Both were jobs well done. Nice shop, nice people, nice atmosphere. Will be glad to keep coming back! read more

Reasonable prices, efficient (Emma was there less than 2 hours for full grooming), and Emma wasn't traumatized by the experience and we love how they did her. read more

The best dog grooming salon in the area! Jennifer and her staff really care about their furry clients (and the dog parents too!). They do an amazing job and our dog, who happens to be a little anxious, always leaves happy and smelling great!! Highly recommend Groom! read more

This place is awesome. My pup loves it and she looked so cute afterward. Atmosphere is great my pup was happy there, she's normally very anxious. The people are super nice. Definitely will be returning. Best part is all the pups get to roam and aren't locked up read more

We have been taking our dog Penny to GROOM ever since we got her and the way Jennifer and her staff care for her makes it a relaxing and fun experience for her! She always comes back looking beautiful, smelling clean and with an adorable bow. We drive 20 minutes past many of their dog groomers to get here because it is worth it! read more

Thrilled with the quality of service here. Met the owner and the groomer (Ashley) who handled our pup; both of them were extremely friendly and welcoming. They took great care of our dog, Stamos, a terrier/schnauzer mutt. And the pricing is quite reasonable. Highly recommend that you book with Groom!, and then go grab a beer at Denizen's while you wait! read more

This is the second time I've had my puppy groomed here. The first time was better. I just now noticed two spots that look like they went too far with the razor on his hind legs and then a patch on his head that went completely untouched. I'm working from home currently, so I didn't have a lot of time when picking him up curbside to inspect the results because I was on my lunch break with work piling up. I would have hoped for a better and more thorough job when paying $90+ for a grooming session for a 9-10lb dog. It's not like I asked for a special cut..at the very least, there shouldn't be spots where my puppy was cut way too close. And I have to admit, I am also very annoyed I have to trim my puppy's hair on the crown of his head because that was missed. If I wanted to do that, I could have easily gone to Petco/PetSmart, or just tried to figure it out on my own on the good YouTube University. read more

I was new to the DMV area and was looking for a new place. Always anxious about it because I've had bad experiences in the past but this place exceeded my expectations. They always provide great service and my furbaby looks great after!! I would highly recommend read more

Jennifer the owner is very rude and unprofessional. When I talked to her today to simply ask whether they were using a scissor cut for my dog as I've requested in emails and that it looked like Mirna nicked my dog near his left eye while cutting him, she concluded with telling me that I can take him somewhere else. When I responded that I've found another groomer who I've been taking my dog to that he loves and they do a great job, she responded "Well that's fine because you only give $5 tips anyways! You say money isn't an issue then why do you give $5 tips?!" Yes, that is literally what the owner, Jennifer yelled at me (which had nothing to do with my concerns). For the record my receipts over the past 2 years, I've never given a tip as low as $5, and I repeat her false accusation about tips had nothing to do with my concern. She did not apologize for miscommunication on their end of not following my request to use scissors for grooming nor did she apologize that the injury may have happened during grooming. I wasn't blaming Mirna, I was literally telling her so I can know what happened. Instead, she was aggressive and defensive the entire phone call, often interrupting me when I was trying to talk. Jennifer is just a nasty individual who does not value the loyalty of great customers. Even after I moved from Silver Spring and bought my home, I still drove there because I thought he was getting a scissor cut as I requested in several emails I sent in advance to his appointments but this entire time they were using clippers and never told me. She never apologized not once. I do not recommend this salon because of the poor, subpar customer service from the owner, Jennifer. If the owner speaks to me, a paying customer of over 2 years and I've never been argumentative with her previously, nor did she acknowledge my genuine concerns but gave an irrational response -- I'm 100% sure I'm not the only customer nor the last customer she will talk to disrespectfully. Look elsewhere, there are friendly groomers that do a great job in the area and who give you the space to freely ask simple questions about your pet's grooming needs. read more

My afghan hound has been coming here since his last groomer retired. Jennifer, the owner, and Mirna, the groomer, are the best. The animals are not caged and are given a relaxing personalized experience while waiting for their turn. My afghan has lots and lots of hair and Mirna always uses a wonderful shampoo and conditioner that is perfect for his hair type. He always ends up coming out looking like a million bucks. Best of all I get to stay with him. Thank you Groom!.....you are the best. Stephanie K. and Prinz read more

They did an awesome job! They cut my fluffball of a Shih-Tzu exactly as discussed and how I like his cut, and he seemed so comfortable and happy when I picked him up. I like how communicative everyone was and how welcoming the process was, but most importantly how great it seemed to make my dog feel. Thanks Rachel for cutting Wookiee so awesome ! read more

Groom is wonderful. We bring our little dog in to get his nails trimmed every few weeks. They are knowledgable, skilled, and kind. Total pros with big hearts. read more

So impressed! First time clients Our goldendoodle is just a puppy and the groomers did a beautiful job. We will be back!

Today was my first time here. I brought my elderly pooch whose nails had grown way too long during Covid. The folks were very gentle with her and got her nails trimmed down nicely. She was happy and wagging her tail when we left. Really cool facility and very nice staff. I will definitely come back! read more

Rachel always does such a good job on my Pomeranian puppy. Staff there are all very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Very friendly staff and quality service... my puppy always looks great and is happy when I pick him up. Sometimes they add a bow-tie to his collar that matches the season and they are good about social distancing and will pick up / drop off your dog at your car so you don't have to go inside. read more

They did an amazing job on my 16 week old Maltipoo. Very friendly staff! Definitely will be making appointments for every 6-8 weeks.

I CANNOT EXPLAIN WITH WORDS HOW PLEASED AND THANKFUL I AM, i've been to many groomers and different chain establishments, last groomer did a number on my little baby left him with a horrible and matted hair, even CUT HIS LITTLE PAW, I was so scared to try this place but i do not regret it at all, normally my baby would hold me to not leave him but he went straight inside was super playful and when i saw him he was so happy so clean and beautiful, the staff there are super nice and the price was excellent, their recommendations were really good and i know my little baby enjoyed his visit so i'll continue to come every 6 weeks to this place, I've been to over 10 different groomers and this one is the one i recommend to all my friends my puppies so THANK YOU GUYS !!!! made my puppy and our family really happy with your service. read more

The staff at Groom were professional, accommodating, and great with my dog Bonnie, a bichon poodle. They make it easy to schedule appointments, they're clean, and they're quick. Bonnie is usually really anxious whenever she goes to the groomers but she was noticeably less anxious coming here. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

Did a great job with my dog and the pricing was very reasonable for the time they spent.

The owners are lovely. And Ashley took great care of our pup. So happy they've come to the neighborhood.

I had the best experience at Groom! When I called I was expecting to have to wait weeks for an appointment but was delighted to be able to get my puppy in within a couple of days. After meeting Jennifer and Ashley my anxiety melted away the warmth I felt was amazing. My puppy never visited a groomer and her first experience was great!! She looks amazing and the extra care they gave her to feel comfortable really made me feel I had her in the right hands. read more

I was immediately put to ease when arriving at Groom. The person at the desk showed a ton of love to my new puppy who can be very nervous with strangers. He looked GREAT when we picked him up 1.5hrs later (note: there's a brewery less than a block away so it's a good place to wait). It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for! read more

As always, my schnauzer had a great experience at her grooming session. Staff is very friendly. I know she likes her time at groomers because she is usually not excited about being dropped off anywhere, but she loves her groomer. She isnt ready to leave when o come pick her up. They nail the schnauzer cut. Can't say enough good things about GROOM!!! read more

They did a great job with our pup, and seemed to have strong COVID-19 protocols in place. Obviously a little more expensive than doing it at Petco or something like that, but it's totally worth it to us to have a cage-free grooming for our dog and to have the high quality. We'll be back! read more

Great experience from start to finish! The salon itself is clean and open so you can see the groomers. They did a great job with the actual groom and were patient with my elderly dog, who can be ornery. Reasonably priced (on par with other groomers in the DMV). read more

The curbside drop off and pick it was easy! An hour and a half later Zadie came out happy with her new summer cut!!
