We just moved here from NYC and I was in search of a good groomer because my little Bichon/Poodle mix is a very nervous dog when it comes to strangers and grooming. This is the second time I've had my puppy groomed here. The first time was better. I just now noticed two spots that look like they went too far with the razor on his hind legs and then a patch on his head that went completely untouched. I'm working from home currently, so I didn't have a lot of time when picking him up curbside to inspect the results because I was on my lunch break with work piling up. I would have hoped for a better and more thorough job when paying $90+ for a grooming session for a 9-10lb dog. It's not like I asked for a special cut..at the very least, there shouldn't be spots where my puppy was cut way too close. And I have to admit, I am also very annoyed I have to trim my puppy's hair on the crown of his head because that was missed. If I wanted to do that, I could have easily gone to Petco/PetSmart, or just tried to figure it out on my own on the good YouTube University. read more

Jennifer the owner is very rude and unprofessional. When I talked to her today to simply ask whether they were using a scissor cut for my dog as I've requested in emails and that it looked like Mirna nicked my dog near his left eye while cutting him, she concluded with telling me that I can take him somewhere else. When I responded that I've found another groomer who I've been taking my dog to that he loves and they do a great job, she responded "Well that's fine because you only give $5 tips anyways! You say money isn't an issue then why do you give $5 tips?!" Yes, that is literally what the owner, Jennifer yelled at me (which had nothing to do with my concerns). For the record my receipts over the past 2 years, I've never given a tip as low as $5, and I repeat her false accusation about tips had nothing to do with my concern. She did not apologize for miscommunication on their end of not following my request to use scissors for grooming nor did she apologize that the injury may have happened during grooming. I wasn't blaming Mirna, I was literally telling her so I can know what happened. Instead, she was aggressive and defensive the entire phone call, often interrupting me when I was trying to talk. Jennifer is just a nasty individual who does not value the loyalty of great customers. Even after I moved from Silver Spring and bought my home, I still drove there because I thought he was getting a scissor cut as I requested in several emails I sent in advance to his appointments but this entire time they were using clippers and never told me. She never apologized not once. I do not recommend this salon because of the poor, subpar customer service from the owner, Jennifer. If the owner speaks to me, a paying customer of over 2 years and I've never been argumentative with her previously, nor did she acknowledge my genuine concerns but gave an irrational response -- I'm 100% sure I'm not the only customer nor the last customer she will talk to disrespectfully. Look elsewhere, there are friendly groomers that do a great job in the area and who give you the space to freely ask simple questions about your pet's grooming needs. read more

My afghan hound has been coming here since his last groomer retired. Jennifer, the owner, and Mirna, the groomer, are the best. The animals are not caged and are given a relaxing personalized experience while waiting for their turn. My afghan has lots and lots of hair and Mirna always uses a wonderful shampoo and conditioner that is perfect for his hair type. He always ends up coming out looking like a million bucks. I CANNOT EXPLAIN WITH WORDS HOW PLEASED AND THANKFUL I AM, i've been to many groomers and different chain establishments, last groomer did a number on my little baby left him with a horrible and matted hair, even CUT HIS LITTLE PAW, I was so scared to try this place but i do not regret it at all, normally my baby would hold me to not leave him but he went straight inside was super playful and when i saw him he was so happy so clean and beautiful, the staff there are super nice and the price was excellent, their recommendations were really good and i know my little baby enjoyed his visit so i'll continue to come every 6 weeks to this place, I've been to over 10 different groomers and this one is the one i recommend to all my friends my puppies so THANK YOU GUYS !!!! made my puppy and our family really happy with your service. read more

The staff at Groom were professional, accommodating, and great with my dog Bonnie, a bichon poodle. They make it easy to schedule appointments, they're clean, and they're quick. Wow! This was probably the best experiences I've had with pet grooming services! Ashley was phenomenal! She was so sweet and kind! My pup loved her right away! The staff really did an excellent job in making sure my puppy felt safe and comfortable during her cut! They have the cutest dog toys and accessories! It's just south of downtown Silver Spring, MD. They did a great job with our pup, and seemed to have strong COVID-19 protocols in place. Obviously a little more expensive than doing it at Petco or something like that, but it's totally worth it to us to have a cage-free grooming for our dog and to have the high quality. We'll be back! read more

They did a great job on my golden. My Golden Retriever has a lot of hair and it is hard to manage during the summer. He has sensitive skin and allergies. Jennifer and her team did an awesome job of taking care of my golden. They knew exactly what to do. When we got him back he was happy, smelled great, and not leaving a tumble weed of hair everywhere he went. The de-shedding job they did worked well. We are definitely coming back. read more
