This was a really good experience for me and my tiny beast. Our long time groomer retired last year and we've had a hard time finding a good fit for an older dog with a spine issue. Jenifer put me at ease on the phone and I felt confident they would be gentle with her. And they were. My mini was happy to see me at pickup but not panicked and she looked fabulous. She smelled clean but not perfume-y and her cut is a beauty. Jenifer was kind and professional and Irene is a grooming artist. Pip has rarely looked better. Also, and this is key for me, Irene noted a growth on her face (hidden by her shaggy hair) and Jenifer told me about it. I appreciate that level of detail. Our old groomer kept a card with Pip's various issues noted on it and I didn't realize how much I had missed that sort of communication until yesterday. I heartily recommend Groom. Parking is nearby (public garage or street metered). The massive Giant Food is on East West Highway nearby and has a Starbucks. There are also several coffee shops by Georgia Ave in Downtown Silver Spring like Kefa, Kaldi's, Black Lion and Bump and Grind (Kefa is the best- you must go!) and the public library is on Fenton Street which has Bump and Grind coffee inside. read more

My lab Zeus was entirely well taken care of; came out of buffy, shining an d smiling!

Our dogs were funky in the quarantine. They loved the quality grooming and we loved our clean girls!!

Curbside puppy pick up and drop off. Super easy to work with and the dog looks great. 6/5 stars

Just took my golden retriever for his first visit. I highly recommend this low-key, professional caring destination for excellent and well-priced dog grooming services. The people are lovely. The place is quiet, spotless and very organized. Truly - a huge reprieve from the chaos of the big box stores. And - easy parking, private entrance/exit directly to the salon (like the way we usually do for ourselves!), and while you wait, settle in across the lane in the nearby Silver Spring gourmet ice cream and coffee at Moorenko as well as beer at Denizens. read more

Its the only place we'll take our little dogs. Took our 4 year old, 7 pound, recent rescue who looked like he had never been to a groomer before and he came out like a little show dog. read more

I found this place on Yelp, and let me tell you, I don't think we're going back to our old groomer ever again. We've gone for a haircut on our Shih Tzu twice, and they've been the best cuts he's ever had, along with the best customer experience! Jenifer herself is a Shih Tzu mom, so she seems to always know what to do to make our Jake look as cute as can be. She also loves to impart knowledge to other owners! Anyways, Jake becomes really scruffy and looks a little silly with his teeth (problems from previous owners) when he hasn't had a cut in a while, and we always joke around that he looks like an old man. However, every time we come back, it seems like we take home a puppy. Ashley does an incredible job with Jake. And, it was so nice to come in a second time and hear "Oh, yeah, I remember him!" even though it had been months. The environment in Groom! is filled with love for animals and all the dogs look very happy. The people working here are knowledgeable and you can rest assured knowing that your dog will be well taken care of here. Don't hesitate to come, both you and your furry friend will be much happier going to Groom! read more

I usually groom Bella myself ( or at least try ), mostly because of trust issue. But I met the owner and her staff at a doggie spa opening in my building and thought I will give them a chance. They were very friendly and listen to how I would like Bella to be groomed. The prices were reasonable and they took great care of her . Ashley did a great job. She looked like a super star! Thanks again Ladies. read more

WOW! My dog, Nugget, looks and smells great! It was our first time at GROOM!, but won't be our last. The team was wonderful and took great care of our old dog. This review is long overdue!!! Our pup has been going to see Jenifer and her team at Groom! For the last year. Our dog Stella is a true Covid dog and is scared of new situations and places. It has always been easy to leave her at Groom! Everyone is very compassionate and she always comes home looking amazing!! Jenifer always goes above and beyond and often fits us in when we've forgotten to book an appointment :). Thanks for making our lives easier Groom! read more

Our ok'd groomer that we followed from Wagtime to Dogtopia left, so I left too. I really was unhappy that I had to search for a new groomer. Great customer service from my initial phone call. Even though I couldn't go inside they were very welcoming. Mello had a great appointment and I think we found a new home. So thankful for a great spot with welcoming faces!! read more

This place is a find! Nice staff, pretty salon, and they let your dog relax and hang out cage free after the groom.

This place is awesome. Jen and her crew are not only super flexible and accommodating, but they worked wonders with our super-reactive rescue puppy and made her look every bit like a princess -- bows and all! We'll definitely be back. If you're in or around downtown Silver Spring and have a dog what which needs cleaning, look no further. read more

My pup hadn't been groomed in quite a long time so he was extra fluffy, and especially so with his winter coat. Groom did a wonderful job of trimming him down, without actually shaving him, deshedding, and cleaning up all the messy parts! They knew exactly what to do, he looks perfect, and he'll still be warm all winter! And finally, I love that he was not kenneled while waiting for me to pick him up. He seemed super happy and content when I got there. Thanks team! read more

My name is Denise H. and I wanted to retract a negative review for having my pet Andy groomed at GROOM on Ga Ave in Silver Spring. Just because I was in financial dire straights did not give me the right to give a negative review. If I couldn't afford GROOMS grooming fees then I had the right to go somewhere else. GROOM has competitive prices and professional services. The love and care they took with my little Andy who is an older dig and needs special care. GROOM does not cage you family/pet member while under their care and services. They even play classical music. Andy has really no social graces but Jenifer said he played with the pups and I forgot to tell her he whined when he had to leave!!! The little joker even squatted outside of his training pad later that night as if to say "You better apologize to GROOM" In my unfair negative review I stated I was given one price as opposed to a different lower price. After it was explained to me the difference of services for the price I was quoted it became completely clear to me. I apologize sincerely for having the gall to post a review like that. The attendant that bought Andy out to me I want to say his name was Joseph was professional and kind. Jenifer also was professional and forgiving even after my horrible review. Jenifer even said after I apologized profusely that maybe we could work something out because I asked if GROOM would groom Andy again. You know what?? Andy is still silky and soft! They did an incredible job. I want to again apologize for being a spoiled sport. If GROOM would have me, Andy and I would love to come back. Thanks for hearing me out. read more

The people working at Gtoom are all very nice, professional and so sweet with the dogs. I'm afraid my doodle was very matted but they gave me instructions on what combs and brushes to use, how to use them and didn't make me feel bad for not doing a better job. Irene was great and Sozi looks beautiful. read more

I researched a lot of dog groomers before we got lucky and was referred to Groom! We absolutely LOVE Groom! Jenifer (the owner) and her staff are always so kind and good with our pets. I also really like that Groom! doesn't keep the pets caged all day. We have two dogs a Welsh Terrier and a Standard Schnauzer and they do an absolutely wonderful job on their breed cuts. We started bringing them to Groom! when they were puppies. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a great dog groomer. read more

Excellent and quick service. It was our puppy's first grooming experience; he and we couldn't be happier!

My favorite groomer so far! They took exceptional care of my pup! Great haircut, loved the bow, it's clear they cared.

My partner takes care of a few dogs, and one particularly senior pup Bear needed an urgent bath after he accidentally sat in his own dirt. GROOM! went above and beyond to make sure Bear could get cleaned up and comfortable, even squeezing Bear in without an appointment and helping my partner to finish blow-drying Bear when my partner had a severe asthma attack. I am so grateful for their kindness and will definitely go to GROOM! again for any future grooming needs. read more

Omg!!! I found this place by accident but it has been the best accident that ever happened. The first time that I brought Tiger in I was feeling afraid of the results. All I can say is wow!!!!
