Grom is a gelateria chain in Italy - you can find it in Milan, Venice, and Rome (basically the only cities I went to in Italy, there could be more in other cities). Their gelato is very rich, creamy, and fresh - you could really taste the quality. Fortunately they spoke basic English when I went, and were really friendly - let me taste various flavors before I made up my mind. I've seen other Yelpers complain that there's long lines - really proves how popular they are! Luckily I didn't encounter a long line when I went, but then again I also went when it was around dinner time and dark out. I agree with many of my fellow yelpers in regard to grom. It is an excellent venue for a late night munch of fresh Italian ice cream. My favourite flavour has personally always been lemon. In this case I was not disappointed. Almost like a sorbet the ice cream was deliciously creamy and smooth with a crisp, sweet taste that left me drooling for more. Combined with the sweet and fruity raspberry and nutty heavy pistachio flavour the zesty lemon ice cream was well complimented and none were too sweet or too plain. All in all this venue offers delicious flavour and is perfect for after a hearty Italian meal! ALSO HIGHLY AFFORDABLE!! Less than 4 euro for 3 scoops!! read more

With all these restaurants around here open late, you'd think the gelato shops would be also. Nope, but then there's Grom. I was asking directions to a gelato place and I was told it was closed. A man who overheard and spoke English offered up Grom, a few blocks down the road. It was open. There's one star. The staff was friendly and spoke English. Two more. I tried anything I wanted, he gave suggestions, and everything was great. Fresh whipped cream available. There's another star. Why five stars? Better and cheaper than back home, fantastic flavors and great choices, clean and just plain yummy. Open one in Long Beach, please. read more

Don't exactly remember the flavors I had tbh..I believe it was hazelnut(they were out of nutella) and something else..but it was good! You need to pay first and then they serve you, sooo don't just stand in line expecting them to serve you without paying first.
