Funny thing with that is while I'll say it was loud, as I expected since it is a club etc, I myself am hard of hearing since birth, I was around 15 feet away from her when she said it and I actually heard her. They serve beer and wine, very small selection, and the prices are reasonable. (Sorry to add so late. Accidentally hit post and tried to edit immediately and ran into problems on my end)

Food: For $28, I expected more and better food. The salad was puny. The mixed seafood was 3 tiny shrimp, a lot of mushy crawfish, and no discernible crab. We ordered this because my husband had a toothache and needed soft food. Rather than the Angel Hair pasta, it came with undercooked bow tie pasta. The sauce was not good. I assume from the reviews this is a popular and delicious place. This was not true for us. It ranks in the lower 10% of restaurants we've tried while traveling. Fresh shrimp were perfectly seasoned and fried to golden and crispy, while still juicy and tender inside. The redfish was fresh, flaky, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of spice. Both sandwiches were piled high on soft, warm French bread with crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a creamy remoulade that tied everything together beautifully. If you're craving an authentic, mouthwatering po' boy, this place is a must.
