Super cheap beers and shots. The bartender Wendy is a saint and is awesome to converse with.

Pedro's opened their second location in Harrison County last year and it has had a steady crowd…read moresince. We have an overabundance of Mexican food places down here, but this one stands out with some unique menu items. They bring you free chips and salsa, but also include a small bowl of warmed refried beans. The beans really set off the chips, which is good because the salsa was mostly liquified and had no real substance to stick to the chip. Our frozen margaritas were fantastic and they didn't skimp on the tequila, so plan to hang out a bit if you get a medium one. For dinner, I ordered the Plato Pedros off the "From the grill" section of the menu because it listed six different things. I honestly though it was a typo on the menu but when I ordered it the waiter said "OK" and put it in. When the food came out, it was literally two plates worth of stuff - see the photo here. I brought some home because it's enough for two, and only cost $20.99. My wife got the shrimp fajita bowl and really enjoyed hers. The inside is very bright and they have lots of space, plus a large outdoor seating area. My only complaint was the music was very loud. There are few carpets or soft areas so the acoustics are quite shrill and when they came out to sing happy birthday to a nearby table, it hurt my ears. I'll admit I have been reluctant to try this new location inside a remodeled TGI Fridays because I'd gotten bad service so many times at their D'Iberville location that I'd sworn them off. My recent experience more than made up for it, and I will definitely be back.

We asked for sweet potato fries. Instead we got waffle fries. That was disappointing. They were greasy and limp. But perhaps this happened on the journey and would've been better if fresh. Also got the steak burrito bowl. Huge pieces of steak. Definitely not quality steak. I feel like, if you're going to use lower quality pieces of steak, it would behoove them to cut the steak into small pieces. It was okay. Again, kinda greasy. All in all, it was a fine meal. Edible but not great. May have been better if we ate in.

I put them in the oven to warm them up and crisp them. The Buffalo chicken was a sad and pathetic excuse. The patty was very thin and I feel almost certainly a frozen patty. The breading had that gummy texture associated with a frozen product. I got the medium sauce plus an extra cup of the original sauce. Both sauces had good flavor. The medium sauce that came on the sandwich didn't cover the chicken. I prefer my chicken to be tossed in the sauce. This had the medium sauce plus the ranch all on the top bun. I was very glad I got the extra sauce. I was able to use that to cover my chicken. The chicken was not a tasty piece of chicken. Thin, chewy, gummy. But the sauce was very good.

I know it is hard to hire and keep people with this type of job, but I can say that even our worst experience was still decent. I've come in here with just my wife and also have been with over a dozen co-workers and they handled everything quite well. This restaurant is larger than the other location on the coast, and it has plenty of seating that also includes a large side area where they sometimes open up the windows for more air. I've never had to wait long to get a table, which is always a plus. Be sure to use the app to get the points because their reward system is excellent and they are always giving away free stuff.
