Grogran's Pub in Ireland is a hidden gem. Not that it is not right there in the open, it's just often overlooked by park goers that don't give it a second thought and walk by it. Located beside Grogan's Grille which is the food arm. You will find a traditional feel of an Irish pub. Wood floors, wood tables and chairs and of course a beautiful bar serving only taps. There is also a fireplace and four TV's. Selection is decent, Guinness is king here. But they had a few other taps too! No craft beer which could be a later improvement in my opinion. My wife and I first got food from the grille and carried the tray over to the bar which is perfectly fine. We did not see anyone else doing it, but with no food at the pub it's the only way you can enjoy both. I ordered a New Castle Brown Ale and they had issues with the tap and asked me to make another selection so I ordered a Guinness. They men working behind the bar were fine, but nothing special in the friendly department. They got the job done however. When the New Castle came back up I asked for it and they did not charge me which I thought was class. The atmosphere is very conducive to relaxing, watching some TV and enjoying some conversation in their cool air conditioned pub. There is no waiter service and everything is self bus. The park was so slow today that we could not help but to hang out for an hour or so and just stay off of our feet while the kids did the rides. If your looking for some coffee than Annie's, located in the same building is the only place that servers Starbucks. That is something almost no one knows about. It is marked on the outside of the building, but again everyone is in a rush to get some where. Although it's not every time we go to the park we stop off here it is a well worth it. Grab food at the grille and bring it over to the pub and enjoy a pint, or two.

Grogan's is a must when we visit Busch Gardens, but only for beer. Don't expect much choice in the way of food. The beer is expensive, so plan to spend $9 for a beer. I think it's how BG makes it's money. Lord knows they get plenty from us.

Annie's Cafe, where you can get your hot chocolate without plastic commemorative container

A hidden gem is Annie's Cafe is in the back, with two tables that each seat 8, and there is a Starbucks kiosk/bar, where you can get your hot chocolate without plastic commemorative container!!

Such an unwelcoming practice. You're not closed until you're closed.

This is my pub and I wish I could be here each day to keep them on task. Always complaining and whining to the guests and forever putting the chairs upside down on the tables before close.

Always great service, with a smile. Comfortable and usually quiet, so much so we forget we are actually in the middle of an amusement park. Try the mead flight, or the ciders in the spring/summer season.

We were served by Kylie (Kyleigh?) on the patio and she was fantastic. I was a server/bartender in Hampton roads for close to 10 years and she provided my family and I with the best service I have received in a restaurant in a long while. Please give her all the kudos and praise for being a talented server and all around awesome person. Thanks Kylie you capped off a great Saturday. Food and drinks were amazing as well.

Whether it's with friends or just the two of us, we've never been disappointed. Let's see how this visit went. We were immediately seated once we walked inside. It wasn't completely packed for a Saturday afternoon but staff was really busy with customers. The vibe was one that made us comfortable for the most part. After a few minutes of looking over the menu, we were ready to order. My selection was the Tavern Monte Cristo which consisted of chargrilled chicken and ham as the protein with Gouda cheese and cider aioli fried in a tempura batter with tavern fries. The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. I'm not sure if I ate most of it when we dined in, but when I ate the rest for dinner, it was more breading than anything else. Still good but they could've included more. Nonetheless, I was full. Good stuff as always from Park Lane Tavern :)
