Since we were going to be in Santa Maria on a Friday, I made it a point to stop by so my family could try it. We had a wine tour at Bien Nacido about 1.5 miles away so we planned to grab sandwiches for lunch before our tour started. We arrived to find the cutest western style store. Inside is clean and has a few tables to dine at. There are snacks on one wall, refrigerators of drinks on the other wall, and a ton of pink caps hung up as decor. The ladies working there were very welcoming. To order your sandwiches, you take a paper from the counter and circled what you want in your sandwich and hand it back to them. Prices are not listed anywhere, so I had to ask. As of 7/2026, sandwiches are $12.49, the Tri tip is $14.00. When we opened our sandwiches to eat them, I was disappointed that they were so small and basic! OK, yes, they use the bread you can buy at the market so it's normal size bread, but for $12.49, I honestly expected something a bit more substantial and more special tasting, not something that looks and tastes like what I slap together for my kid's school lunch for less than $5. Don't get me wrong, they are not bad sandwiches, they're just very simple and basic at a premium price point. It would've been nice if they had some fun tasting sauces to put in the sandwich. The tri tip sandwich we went there for ended up being a "meh" item as well. The family said it was ok but not something they would order again.

It's very frustrating for someone who is here for a pick up order and there's no parking spots because all six of them are used by people who are not waiting for an order. Keep in mind some of these spots are for people who may have just had surgery and can't walk far or are weak and for people that have disabilities that may not be able to walk that far as well please advocate for the customers who may need the spots. This also goes for the bagging groceries. There's been times that I've needed help to have the groceries back, but I'm expected as the customer to background groceries and that's why I come here and pay more to have it done.
