Fun, nice people making an incredible pastrami sandwich! Double check, but I think it's hamburgers on Tuesday only!

Excellent sandwhich. So hospitable. Purchased two hats. My family lived in Garey for a number of years, so this was a special visit. Very pleasant atmosphere.

I've tried many sandwiches and salads here and they have all been fantastic! Tri tip on Fridays is amazing and is a very generous portion.

All 4 of us ordered the Tri Tip sandwiches. The tri tip was very flavorful! probably the best tri tip I had ever had. TH=here was some good smoke flavor in that meat. Sliced very thin, it was so easy to eat. No fighting the meat. Bread was buttered. BBQ on the side was Sweet Baby Ray's. I found that the BBQ sauce took away from the sammich, so I did very little dipping. If I come again, which I hope I do, I will order that sammich, but prepared in the same manner in which they prepare the roast beef sandwich. We took some chile verde sausages home to try, and those have a strong and memorable chile taste. For people who do not like spicy, beware. For the rest of us it is a satisfying burn. It is a pork sausage. Wife denied the purchase of the blackberry habanero sausage, so I will be left wondering about those. We also grabbed their pesto mayo. We will be trying that this week. I think I would have liked it on my tri tip sammich. I love pesto on anything. Place ain't cheap, but what is?

We popped in today and were impressed by the huge selection of sandwich options. You can choose from several breads including focaccia, sourdough, baguette, or whole wheat, and then build from a really interesting variety of meats, cheeses, and vegetarian toppings. The cheese selection alone was worth the visit. They offer unique choices like Stilton, horseradish cheddar, and several English cheeses (plus plenty of brie options that work beautifully on their sandwiches). It's not your typical deli lineup, which makes the menu fun to explore. We ordered the half sandwich and half salad combo, which was the perfect portion for lunch. You can also order full sandwiches or full salads, and they offer chips on the side if you want a little crunch with your meal. For dessert we split an ice cream sandwich called "Monkey in the Middle." It had banana ice cream between two soft cinnamon cookies with chocolate hazelnut spread. We shared it four ways and it was the perfect little sweet ending. They also have a nice selection of canned beverages, and there's a water station out front if you just want something simple. Best of all, sitting outside in Los Olivos is such a treat. Great food, lots of creative options, and a relaxed wine-country atmosphere. We'll definitely stop again next time we're in town.

The baked goods are really good (get the sticky bun and morning roll) and the lunch menu is varied, something for everyone. Delicious. 2) The loaf of bread w/ bacon (lardon maybe?)-- had it with a sandwich or something and brought a loaf home the first trip. My household and I wish I had bought 5 loaves. Excellent. Sad they did not have it this visit. 3) Egg in jar and egg in frame- excellent reviews from whoever in our group ordered them. (I didnt have them but hope to next visit.) Outdoor seating/large patio is great. The not so great is totally outshined by the good, but will mention in case you're on the fence about what to get. -The sweets/baked goods in the display are maybe average, since I don't recall what I had from the first trip- but remembered not being crazy about it, so I thought I'd play it safe with 2 big cookies. Chocolate chunk cookie was good- a solid choice if you love a lot of chocolate. Pistachio shortbread cookie: I'd remove it from the menu. It tastes neither like pistachio nor shortbread (which is disappointing since I love both). It also had rosemary or something herb-y that I wasn't expecting- and wouldn't be opposed to anyway- but the cookie was a total miss. Service: super upbeat and fantastic in Feb. Tepid but fine this week. I want to give it 5 stars despite the items I didn't love. Because 5 months later- all I could think about was Lavender Fog and bacon bread loaf. But I know I wasn't crazy about 40-50% of what I tried so far. And that pistachio cookie was a pretty solid fail. I'll def be back and hope both my faves plus egg in jar are still there!

After 4 PM, they offer the "420 Special," which makes their sandwiches only $9. They also have online ordering, which I attempted to use, but they had already reached their limit for online orders because they were so busy. And after visiting, I can see why! Despite the crowd, they've perfected their sandwich ordering system, it's super efficient. When you walk in, you fill out a small paper checklist with your order and hand it to one of the employees at the register. They submit your order, you pay, and then wait for your sandwich. Expect at least a 25-minute wait, especially during busy hours. I tried the Tropical Vacation sandwich: smoked turkey, jalapeño havarti, "the works," romaine, sprouts, avocado, honey mustard, cranberry sauce, and sliced sourdough. I swapped the sourdough for Dutch Crunch bread, and it was PERFECT. It was the thickest, juiciest, and most flavorful sandwich I've ever had. I'll be dreaming about it until I can have it again. The pictures truly don't do these sandwiches justice, they were massive. I also tried the Spring Club sandwich. It was just as thick and delicious, though not quite as juicy as the Tropical Vacation. Honestly, I want to try ALL of their sandwiches because I have no doubt they're all amazing. The bread was a little firmer than I personally prefer, but it still worked well with the sandwich and didn't take away from the overall experience.
