When you arrive you get buckets for raspberries and separate buckets for blackberries. After picking they weight and are $11.50 a pound. A full bucket of raspberries is about a pound. The employees are always so nice! There is a sink to wash before your eat your berries, already picked ones if you would prefer that, drinks and ice cream and other yummies are available. No Farm Done Farmers…read moremarket held yearlong in Downtown Solvang every Wed from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Good: *Fresh fruits, veggies, food stuff, and lots of flower vendors. *Great location near the main hubub of Solvang The Meh: *Didn't seem like the largest farmers market that we've seen, as there were only about a dozen vendors, but it was early winter if that made a difference. *Seemingly mostly geared towards locals than road-tripping tourists. *Didn't see any food stalls, but it's possible I missed them. The Ugly: *One of the vendors was whispering conspiracy theories to a group of young girls that looked like they wanted to gtfoh but were desperately looking for a nice way to do it. Conclusion: Decent little farmers market that is more suited for locals. If you're visiting the area and happen to be around, I wouldn't necessarily make a special trip or go out of my way for it.
