Good produce, quality supply of canned goods, nice folks working there. Close to my house. Enough parking. Their carts all seem easy to push and aren't full of paper trash. I am impressed!! read more

My review today isn't about the store but more so the employee janny, Everytime I come here she greets all the customers the same color as herself and not everyone else. she will completely ignore me and have a conversation with either her co workers or the people behind me. She also roughly throws my items to the side to bag including bread. She should've definitely learn how to treat her costumers the same because next time I won't be nice about it read more

I'm a regular at this grocery outlet, I always come to get a few snacks or to make a quick meal to get through the day which is the fine part. The issue is checking out and receiving a nasty attitude from a specific employee/cashier. She's an elderly woman, white and has blonde hair. She keeps intentionally ignoring me when ringing up my items, when I've witnessed she's golly and talkative towards customers before and after me. There were rare times when she would actually speak to me but it would be with a rude, condescending tone. Not a very welcoming or kind behavior, definitely lacks customer service or very picky when enforcing good customer service. Please choose better employees that actually is friendly and respectful to all. read more

I came to this location for the first time since I was in the area running errands. Surprisingly, this store is less busy than the other one I frequent. This one was also organized differently where everything was on the opposite side e.g. produce was on the left, liquor was on the right along with the candy/snack aisle. I also liked how they seemed to have more options than most. I liked the Auntie Annie's frozen meals as those have gone up in price usually now $6-8 in higher end grocery stores. I also liked how it was as open, bright, and smelled clean, less crowded. Parking was no trouble. It's right next to the Big Lots store off Elkhorn Blvd. read more

This place is rude as shit. Don't expect your customers to be nice to you if you're not nice back. where that attitude gets grocery outlet in the future. I'm going to be a complete ahole to me if you're rude to anyone around me. You're gonna hear from me in an aggressive manor like you treated me. Incompetent and rudeness gets a reaction out of the public. If your management wants to have the environment like that then so be it. Clean up your store before you respond to this. read more

I went in today to shop for the Superbowl as I was going out a plane clothed Lost prevention Guy started accusing me of trying to shoplift he said I needed to show my receipt because apparently the cashier didn't realize he rang me up when he found out that I did in fact pay he gave a half hearted apology horable experience. read more

Great prices, good people that provide good customer service and products and opened good hours that are convenient.

I love Grocery Outlet! This is what North Highlands has needed for years!! I always find the greatest deals, it's like finding gold in places you'd never imagine. The staff is always friendly and the new owner Dennis is so personable! I love this store, and furthermore, this is where I get 90% of my food since it's Grand Opening ... if you want savings, and a friendly staff, this is the place for you!! PS ... don't forget to put your receipt in their drawing because once a month on FB they will do a live drawing ... good luck!!! read more

I absolutely love the deals I find at Grocery Outlet. This store is new, nice and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I love the variety of items and I love all the healthy and Keto friendly items they have. They have great discounts and many times clearance food items are even lower priced. I can always find a great deal on cereal for my kids. I love to check here first before I do my regular grocery shopping elsewhere. Have had great produce from here. Love this location! read more

I didn't know Grocery Outlet snuck into North Highlands! We needed to stop by Walgreens and noticed a new Grocery Outlet (yayyyy) and decided to stop in since we needed a few items (my famous words each time I walk into a GA lol). The new store is a smaller than other locations but didn't lack the variety GA is known for. I appreciated the extra wide isles, shelves and produce stocked well, shiny, cement style flooring similar to Costco, and Kombucha was $1.49, say what?!?! I had never seen diet Ginger Beer before (brand was from Bermuda, how about that!) and it was delicious; going back to stock up this week! Captain Crunch was .99 for the large box woot woot! Decided to be a kid again and purchase some when I need a break from tofu smoothies or steel cut oats for breakfast. Nice GA location, will definitely be back. read more

Grocery Outlet - My baby haul. So proud of myself didn't buy out the store as usual lol - Grocery Near Me - North Highlands, California

They're nice enough. Some of the people that work there can learn to talk a bit less "I'm all up in the club having fun" loud. Wow! I don't know if the Methanies there understand common sense, but you're working! So keep your hood ratedness in your house and come professional. Y'all doin a tad too much acting a fool at work. I'm all for fun at work, but these ex cons that work here on another level of rachet. It's off putting, but just need some groceries so I hurry up, shop, and bounce asap before I catch the rachet ora myself read more

VERY RUDE STAFF. The manager was VERY RUDE and just as unprofessional as the staff. Staff yelled at me over the "store policy" of no personal bags in the store. A "store policy" that they clearly made up! No Sign or anything in the store. The manager kept coming up with an excuse as to why on wasn't up anywhere. I've shopped at this store for years and never had a issue until today. As soon as i walked in there, I was yelled at "HEY HEY HEY, HER BAG!" everyone looking at me now, and I turn around to a guy with his hand out telling me to give him my bag if I wanna shop in the store. Excuse me! I left and came back and asked to speak to a manager, who had all the excuse in the world for their unprofessional behavior. How dare they try to treat the community like criminals knowing they would never tolerate such treatment themselves. LEAVE THE COMMUNITY IF YOU DONT LIKE THE COMMIUNTY! read more

I found lots of things I didn't know I was looking for this morning. Haha The cashiers were very friendly and even acknowledged customers as they walked in. The store was very clean. I was able to find some good stuff for super cheap. I will probably do a regular shop next time, this time I was just here for some snack stuff. There are signs posted everywhere about masks and social distancing but I've noticed other shoppers disregard the precautions. I myself and maybe 3 other shoppers along with the cashiers had masks on. No I don't like having to were them, they make my face sweat but I'm not taking any chances. I was able to find hand sanitizer here too. read more

The Grocery Outlet store in North Highlands is my favorite grocery store. With a wide variety of gourmet items and good variety of organic products, the store offers a clean and friendly environment for its customers. Furthermore, the store has an amazing cheese selection and a knowledgeable, friendly staff. The store is LOCALLY-OWNED, with amazing selections of produce and deli food. We're weekly shoppers often finding everything from vegan meals and products to grass Fed organic meats and whole grain pasta. We buy our toiletries and cleaners really everything. The staff are always friendly and seem genuinely happy to help and be there. I prefer to support local small business store because they care! read more

They tried to use covid-19 as an excuse for how they treat certain customers. I actually spoke to an extremely unreasonable man who said he's the owner but there's no question in my mind that Grocery Outlet would prefer not to have the business of African Americans. No problem, when the infrastructure catches up I'll order everything online and won't have to deal with there insolence. read more

Great store! Easy to get in and out and parking isn't crazy. Like to shop here before I go to a bigger store any day since the prices are low and they have a great variety. It's great to stock up on items too. Tons of healthy food options and items you don't always see anywhere else. Also... don't forget the wine selection! read more

I am a women in my 60's and disabled. I use a walker. I came in with bags from Dollar Tree and they made me leave them at the register. They put them on the filthy floor. Disgusting!!! I can see having an issue with teenagers, but a white haired disabled woman??? I bought corn and bananas, but wouldn't look around the store, which I usually do. They should be ashamed of themselves, targeting seniors!!! read more

I was yet again disappointed while shopping at this market. The store credits customers with a $5 off coupon for purchases of $40 or more. At the Citrus Heights location earlier this month I was unable to use $5 coupon because I didn't provide cashier with coupon at the beginning of the purchase. Today, I provided the coupon at the beginning of the cashier ringing up my purchases and she neglected to credit me with coupon. After realizing I did not receive my credit, I returned to the store and was advised that they would have to refund and then ring up the items again in order to get $5. So what good is a coupon when so much is involved and the store does not hold thei worker responsible when they make an error. read more

I went in to pick up a few things on my way home from work. After being greeted I was told I couldn't take my backpack in the store. If I wanted to shop I would have to leave my backpack at the register. I have gone into the store since it opened with my backpack. I have kids, it's my purse! She loudly told me about the sign on the door prohibiting backpacks in the store, I've never seen it. It was humiliating and I will never be back. Got in the car and drove my backpack and my money to Safeway. Not very neighborly Grocery Outlet. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the variety and selection of food and drink! There is a Food Source in Rio Linda that doesn't offer the greatest selection of products, so I usually drive to Natomas to do my grocery shopping there.
