    Candy/snack aisle

I came to this location for the first time since I was in the area running errands. Surprisingly, this store is less busy than the other one I frequent. This one was also organized differently where everything was on the opposite side e.g. produce was on the left, liquor was on the right along with the candy/snack aisle. I also liked how they seemed to have more options than most. I liked the Auntie Annie's frozen meals as those have gone up in price usually now $6-8 in higher end grocery stores. I also liked how it was as open, bright, and smelled clean, less crowded. Parking was no trouble. It's right next to the Big Lots store off Elkhorn Blvd.

I absolutely love the deals I find at Grocery Outlet. This store is new, nice and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I love the variety of items and I love all the healthy and Keto friendly items they have. They have great discounts and many times clearance food items are even lower priced. I can always find a great deal on cereal for my kids. I love to check here first before I do my regular grocery shopping elsewhere. Have had great produce from here. Love this location!

My baby haul. So proud of myself didn't buy out the store as usual lol

I didn't know Grocery Outlet snuck into North Highlands! We needed to stop by Walgreens and noticed a new Grocery Outlet (yayyyy) and decided to stop in since we needed a few items (my famous words each time I walk into a GA lol). The new store is a smaller than other locations but didn't lack the variety GA is known for. I appreciated the extra wide isles, shelves and produce stocked well, shiny, cement style flooring similar to Costco, and Kombucha was $1.49, say what?!?! I had never seen diet Ginger Beer before (brand was from Bermuda, how about that!) and it was delicious; going back to stock up this week! Captain Crunch was .99 for the large box woot woot! Decided to be a kid again and purchase some when I need a break from tofu smoothies or steel cut oats for breakfast. Nice GA location, will definitely be back.

Their wine section has an amazing selection from all over the world at unbeatable prices.

The Grocery Outlet store in North Highlands is my favorite grocery store. With a wide variety of gourmet items and good variety of organic products, the store offers a clean and friendly environment for its customers. Furthermore, the store has an amazing cheese selection and a knowledgeable, friendly staff. The store is LOCALLY-OWNED, with amazing selections of produce and deli food. We're weekly shoppers often finding everything from vegan meals and products to grass Fed organic meats and whole grain pasta. We buy our toiletries and cleaners really everything. The staff are always friendly and seem genuinely happy to help and be there. I prefer to support local small business store because they care!

I purchased clearance food items that I later realized -- without even opening them -- were clearly not fresh and not safe to eat. This is especially serious to me because I have children, and I rely on stores to sell food that is safe for families. What makes this worse is that I was told in the store that these products were "safe" and that employees buy them themselves. When I returned to request a refund, one associate initially said it would be accepted. However, the same employee who originally reassured me suddenly refused, became visibly upset, and told me "it's the law" that they cannot take the items back. That statement is misleading -- stores cannot avoid responsibility for selling food that is not safe for consumption. On top of that, during the same visit I was overcharged for other items compared to the posted prices, which added to my frustration and concern about how this business operates. This was not just poor customer service -- it raises serious concerns about food safety and consumer rights. I strongly recommend that others carefully inspect any items before purchasing here and double-check prices at checkout.

Every time I visited it must have some issues like charge with the wrong price on produce, the service it's always slow and it wasn't enough people to help. I was standing there for a while and then the old lady walked in to the office and she even said anything to me, not say hi, not anything and just got disappeared in the office. I waved my hand to the lady at the florist again just to let her know that if you guys too busy I can come another time. And she was surprised that the lady doesn't help me yet and she came knocked on the office, then the old lady came out. With no app I was forced to pay full price. I did not feel like a valued customer.

The employees-including the management team and the regular workers are all amazing-they are always so friendly-so helpful-I'm pretty much greeted when I see any of them and almost always when I leave-just a solid place to do any type of grocery shopping. My favorite days to shop at this location is for sure on Mondays when they have the $5 Monday Deals-they generally have really great deals on those days and pretty much always have something I can add to the household for the week. Raley's resets their price specials of the week on Wednesdays-so that's probably my 2nd favorite day to shop at Raley's-I'm always trying to figure out the meat and seafood specials that week so I can plan my home meals for the week. Another thing I love about this location is their are always restocking their clearance section on the regular so I'm always finding something new-heck today I bought 6 items from the clearance section-just things like spices and sauces-things I will go thru quickly but don't want to pay full price for. They also at this location have lots of spirit sales-50% off bottles type sales quite often and it's a lot of times pretty high quality stuff-I've been able to build my tequila collection up pretty good just by looking for their sales. Only downside to this location is we do have to walk around quite a few of homeless near the pathway between my work and the front entrance as it's a pretty popular hangout for the less fortunate-it's no big deal but I know some female workers at my job are afraid to walk by themselves because of it.Overall it's nice of Raley's not to kick em out-they are just looking for a place to sleep. In closing-I definitely recommend this Raley's location as I've been here since day 1 and will continue to shop here for as long as I'm working in the area-their employees are really great.
