I am sooo upset to write this review! Not as upset as I am that the former restaurant in it's location Eren's Grill is now closed. Being a lover of authentic greek cuisine, I didn't tear too much when the sign came up that they would be opening. Living in NYC I was very excited to try it out when I came back to my hometown. I called and spoke to a gentleman while perusing through the menu online. I asked to order Pork gyro on a greek salad, with no onions. What I received was a pork gyro (with onions) and a tomato salad. Both had under ripe pink tomatoes. Being under the impression that a greek salad has tomato, feta, cucumbers, olives and onions on top of a salad, I was surprised when it was a chopped salad with no lettuce, just a ton of light pink tomatoes with garnishes of the latter. I ended up paying close to $20 for meat (can't eat pita, although I must say it did look delicious), and a few cucumber and olives. I really could only give two stars because the actual Pork meat in the gyro was very tasty, if only I didn't have to pick out the onions!!! I would suggest being completely thorough if you call to order and a young man picks up the phone. Or the establishment should train their staff. read more

Wanted to try this place out and I'm glad I did. Had the gyro on pita wrap. Lamb was good, not dry at all. Had the Greek salad also, a little salty on some bites but ingredients are definitely fresh. Would definitely go back. I just hope they can deliver all the way to my house, that would be a plus! read more

Went with the family for Mother's Day lunch yesterday. It was really nice and low key as compared to a crowded restaurant or buffet on day like this. We both had Gyro sandwiches and the kids shared a chicken sandwich on pita bread with fries. The food was so good that we all ate quickly except for our daughter that was in a bad mood! We order the chicken souvlaki pita, once perfect, once chicken burnt, once had oregano on it, got free sample rice pudding, didn't get sample rice pudding, once asked for extra tsudziki sauce, no charge, next time extra fee. We're from out of town but thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance. I had the lamb gyro which was delicious and my daughter ordered the GRK fries and a small greek salad. The salad came with a very generous slab of feta. As other reviewers have offered, the fries were amazing! The inside is pretty with blue walls and white/brown accents. I was at a neighboring business this past Sunday, 0625/17, & decided to try GRK Grill as I was nearby & hadn't had a gyro in a long time. Ordered a chicken gyro, a pork gyro. & fries. Bottom line--too too salty & lacked flavor. The saltiness was the overriding flavor. They do have a nice variety of Greek specialties on the menu & I really had high hopes for GRK Grill but was disappointed. The dining area is small but nice & the service was quick altho not overly friendly. The pricing is fair for Fairfield County. I might give GRK Grill another shot & try something different only because it's so hard to find "fast food" gyro spots & I do like Greek cuisine, Forgot to mention--tried the Greek coffee---horrible--tasted like frappe with thick water--no coffee flavor at all. read more

We had very good gyros, excellent French fries, a very good baklava, a decent bisteki on pita, and a good loukaniko sausage. The loukaniko was a bit different here than elsewhere; it lacked the fennel taste but it was good nonetheless. The prices were quite reasonable and the menu seemed authentic. When you see red mullets on the menu, you know the place is Greeky Greek. The Greek orangeade was available too, and that stuff is delicious. Parking is tight. That's the only negative. Came here for the first time today, and I gotta say it was disappointing. The place has such a strong smell of smoke, that you can't even smell any food cooking or anything. Was only there for 15 or so minutes because I ordered my food to go, and actually had to change my shirt when I got home because I smelled like an ashtray. Paid $14 and some change for my meal and did not enjoy it. I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate, and it was not at all what I was expecting. Usually this is one of my favorite dishes when I eat out, but I found it hard to finish it. Only reason I did finish it was cause of the money I spent which was more than better chicken souvlaki usually goes for. The chicken was all stuck together like 2 kabobs that didn't have much flavor. Just tasted like regular grilled chicken. There was a small salad on one side of the chicken, that had olive oil on it. On the other side of the chicken, there were French fries. Pita came wrapped up separately. Think the best thing was the pita dipped in the tzatziki sauce, but even that was just alright. Don't think I'll be back. read more

I hate this place, every time I open myself for an opportunity in hopes that it'll be better something happens. Couple months back I tried to order on a Friday and they told me they don't have a delivery guy today... that's fine people call out sick all the time. Last night also a Friday I place an order for delivery a couple minutes before 8pm... i waited for 45 minutes and thought wow they must be busy give them more time. I will be completely honest, prices are high but food is the closest I have found to bring just like in GREECE, the gyro is simple just like it is supposed to be not filled with lettuce and bs like other places. This place is amazing ! My boyfriend and I have been waiting for this place to open for some time and boy was it worth the wait! Everything we had was so delicious! We ordered a bunch of apps (feta fries, spanakopita, and a trio platter) a gyro and a GRK salad. The trio platter was so good I loved the spicy feta and the eggplant was surprisingly delicious and pleasant especially because I hate eggplant this however was phenomenal it wasn't bitter or roasted like most other places. I had the GRK salad with chicken and it was cold as a salad should be with a generous amount of feta. I ordered chicken on it and it was marinated and juicy! My boyfriend had the GRK gyro with pork and it was just as delicious. Had an amazing meal and since we live down the street I can imagine we will be quite the regulars. The food is good but the place smells like cigarettes. I used to work here for a short period of time and wasn't even making minimum wage, the owner didn't even want to pay me at all for my time training. I argued him on it and was paid less than minimum for training after he was coaxed hard enough... when I made no tips in the first place. He thinks he's above the law and doesn't care for other people's opinions or doing the right thing. I was a server/register making dirt for money. He was rude and unwilling to budge when I asked to be compensated. Seeing these comments, on staff having an attitude, makes sense considering who they work for. I'll only ever order for delivery cause I'll still eat the food but I'm never stepping foot inside again. read more

Tris is poorly run businesses. They don't really make you feel welcome or that they value your business. They expect you to greet them instead of otherwise, that's a bad customer service! I paid $13 for gyro with tons of tzatziky sauce, a tomato and a little bit of onions that's it! And I ask for a "veggie " gyro for $8 which was tzatziky sauce, and stuffed with fries. The tiniest baklava dessert for $4 I thought it was going to be delicious! But it was hard and extremely greasy!
