So three days before my trip I did a last minute search on the internet and Happy Hounds came up first. They were ridiculously close to my house and came out the same day to meet me and my dogs. It will love at first site for the dogs and me. I felt comfortable enough to hire them without checking references. My wife and kids, excited about our upcoming addition, approached Jeff and we all peppered him with questions for at least an hour that night. Not only was he super patient with us pesky, annoying strangers, but he was obviously knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his love for animals. Plus, his dog sat there calmly and without any protest while we had our conversation, which impressed us to no end. He ended up giving us his card and told us not to hesitate to call if we ever had any other questions. Fast forward a few weeks - our new puppy (Ripley) was driving us crazy. She wasn't eating or sleeping regularly, walks were an adventure/nightmare, barking, chewing, nipping, jumping, etc. We looked up a few in-home trainers nearby and had some consultations. All were either ridiculously expensive or just not a personality match with us or Ripley. Tears of frustration were falling, I kid you not. We remembered Jeff and gave him a call, and not knowing that he was a trainer, asked him if he knew of and/or could recommend any good ones in the area. Long story short, he was out to our house within an hour and began working with Ripley immediately. Problem behaviors were identified and explained to us and correcting methods were introduced and reinforced. Within a few sessions, the improvement in Ripley's temperment was drastic and consistent. Not to sound too corny, but we got back the intelligent, well-mannered dog we wanted in the first place. Nowadays, Holly's Happy Hounds continues to help us whenever we need walking, training, boarding, or anything else. Jeff and Holly share a passion for this business and it shows in their work and dedication to their clients. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Best random pet store encounter in history.

Next gripe has been the "CLOSED ONE HOUR FOR LUNCH" sign on the door two weeks in a row. Thought it was 1955 when I saw this sign last week when stopping in to refill Heartgaurd. Tried calling the office before this lunch hour today and could not get anyone to answer the phone. Thought, this clearly cannot be a continuous thing, what if someone brings an animal in for an emergency, clearly we're not going "Out to lunch" in 2025? Clearly at minimum the clerk remains working and takes lunch separate from the entire staff? Nope. Was greeted with another sign today for "Out to lunch" with a locked building. This is extremely inconvenient and an outdated lunch practice. No longer coming here for my prescriptions. Waste of my time, AGAIN.

No sedation used on four legged clients; no need as this lady is seriously the cat whisperer. Human companions can either drop kitties off or stick around during grooming. Lion cuts are priced $40 to $50; brochures list pricing. Her hours accommodate the working schedule. Open 3-7pm Monday through Friday and by appointment on weekends. Based on her experience managing a nearby animal hospital, Julie pointed out a few things to keep an eye on with my kitty like gingivitis. Lion cut included a cute bandana and some freshening spray. Two paws up. The owner loves all animals but recognizes cat quirks. I will happily take Mr. Furley, Esq back to Pawsitively Loves Cats.

We booked it and I took the day off work. When I arrived to the spay appointment they saw my dog and handed me a quote of nearly $1000. INSANE. I left because of their deception. They have the bill setup to charge over $600 for the spay, then about $350 for meds, IV, etc. Many other animal clinics charge a standard rate based on the dog and it costs significantly less than this animal hospital. I took my corgi to another hospital and the front desk staff said they have never heard of such an outrageous price for a spay. My corgi received much better care at a better price elsewhere. Will not be taking any of my pets here again.

I will no longer use this vet. I have 5 animals. They are all about the money. They don't care he's suffering. Im disabled and cant afford another office visit on top on the cost of procedure he quoted me. They didn't care. I told them he will have to suffer because I can barely pay for the actual procedure, much less another office visit. They didn't care. They don't do same day visits either, they send you to emergency vet $$$. Loyalty means nothing to them. I've been with them for 21 years. Thanks for nothing. Sarah is the groomer and she does a great Job taking care of both my pets. She comes straight to my home and I don't have go anywhere. I make an appointment and she always comes on time. My pets look and smell great afterwards. I would highly recommend her services plus she is a very nice person. If I need my dogs groomed this is the only place I will call. The convenience is great because I work remotely from home.
