This place is next level. I have never been so motivated and encouraged to workout before. You feel like you are at a spa because everything is beautiful here and classy. And the instructors are INCREDIBLE. they set up for a five star experience. The only bad thing about this place is that they set the bar so high that all other spin classes do not compare. Great energy here. You won't regret a single class. You'll be begging for more. Did I mention the best workouts I've ever had?! read more

Mahalo Matt and GRIT team. It was worth waking up at 4:00 a.m. to drive to GRIT Monarch Beach to take Matt's 5:45 a.m. class. Great energy and playlist. Awesome and great way to start your day . Aloha. read more

GritCycle - Cycling Classes Near Me - Dana Point, California

Six days straight with Sydney and got top it off with her first sold out class today! I'm ready to do it again next week! Go Sydney and thanks for the tips. I'm feeling strong! I Love GritCycle read more

I cannot say enough good things about this studio/ workout!! I did cycle a few times over the last 2 years and always thought it was a miserable experience. The grit classes are so fun, you feel like your dancing, and getting a great work out! The energy in the room is what keeps you going and makes you push yourself. What makes it so great is the staff.. the instructors are so fun and so motivating and the front desk gals are willing to do anything to help and are always so pleasant. Highly recommend!! read more

Just wanted to write and appreciate all and single one of you for your hard work, love and all you have gone through the past week

I love to spin at Grit because it's so much fun. It has great new bikes, wonderful instructors, charity rides, nice towels, spin shoes and when you finish a cold minty wet cold towel. A locker for everyone and a fabulous shop if you need to buy workout clothes. They play the best music and I have loved ever instructor. Jessica is my favorite but you will be happy with the crew. The front desk is helpful and Adam will help you set up your bike. Can't wait for my next ride and I am starting to look and feel great. read more

Just Grit. No judgement and a great great workout. The facility is clean, spacious, and well organized. Staff is super friendly. I have taken classes led by Charmaine, Matt, and Steph. They are all amazing. The music and sound system are on point. I would just go to their classes for the music high alone. I really love this studio. read more

The same Grit with a newer and bigger facility?? YASSSSS!!! Even better...Matt's class isn't waitlisted in 5 seconds??? I'm so glad Grit decided to make its way down to South County. My bf moved down here so it makes it super convenient for us to go together. The facility is GORGEOUS and spacious, which I LOVE. All the staples are still the same. Great music, great energy, and the cold eucalyptus towels are CLUTCH!!! So so happy!! If you haven't tried it, what are you waiting for??? read more

This place is awesome! Great music, the instructors are really good too. Amanda F is awesome on Sundays at 9:30, Charmaine is great, Kamran and Stephanie. The music is really good and the room setup is nice too. Good energy in the room. Much better than Soul Cycle and a lot more affordable. We go almost every week and would probably go more often if we didn't have kids. Facilities are really nice and the location is great. The cold towel they pass out at the end of class feels amazing. Good way to sweat out all the poison and have a fresh start to the weekend or week. They have a ton of weekday options and they periodically do deals where the average class is under $20. Well worth it for your health and fitness. Highly recommended. read more

Ok, I admit I was skeptical at first because they don't have any data. However, after going there a few times, I got used to it. I've been to other studios and this is by far the best in terms of the instructors (Matt,Charmaine, steph), music, facility, staff. and overall workout. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 are the bikes which can use an upgrade. read more

Instructors were extremely enthusiastic and encouraging. It was a high energy class with light weights push-ups and of course tons of cycling. This was my first real cycling class and I loved the sensory experience with the music and lights and everything else that came with it. read more

Took the 1045am Thursday class with Chandler. Great class and I guess she is a new instructor but I couldn't tell. Great class. I liked that she walked around and gave the riders praise. Thanks for the workout! It was awesome! read more

I once was an avid cycle-barn member until they closed, so it's been a few years. Decided to give Gritcycle a try and received a free class. Upon arrival I was greeted right away and was promptly shown my locker, shoes and even fitted for my bike. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about as I thought the Service was excellent! As for the class, there were two performing cyclists and one standing instructor. Although I do prefer my main Instructor to also be on the bike, All three were great at keeping the energy up and giving movement instructions. My only gripe about the class is I loathe "hot box" style spin and I didn't realize this class was like that until it was too late. Meaning the room is a closed circuit and the fans are turned off for the majority of the class. I understand the idea, but I was literally sliding off the handle bars. Overall top notch place if you like that style of spin. Just not my thing so I'll keep looking. read more

Love this place! The instructions are energetic and bring the heat to every single class. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid workout. read more

I'm obsessed! I will never go back to doing spin at a gym ever again. These classes are incredible. They're so much fun, the music is AWESOME, and you stay motivated the entire time. It's also a super clean studio and the staff are really accommodating. I would highly recommend Lisa's class, but they are all amazing. You won't regret it! read more

Awesome workout, new/clean studio. Have had amazing instructors and some alright ones, but usually really enjoy my ride. My sister is a regular and absolutely loves having monarch as an option over driving into Costa Mesa! read more

I am hooked! Let me start by saying I am a yoga teacher who literally had zero interest in trying this; but my dear friend Shannon started teaching at Gritcycle Monarch Beach so, in an effort to support her, I bought a package. After my first class I was dripping sweat and smiling ear to ear! Absolutely electrifying! I had no idea what I was missing! And the studio is so clean, the staff is friendly and so helpful. You have a client for life. Gritty up! read more

I've been to the Costa Mesa location and decided to finally try out the Monarch location since it's close to home and I wish I had done so sooner! The front desk staff was great upon greeting and loved the instructor's energy. Was greeted by Marissa upon entry who helped with my bike setup since it's been a minute. Will hold myself accountable to return later this week and make this part of my weekly routine! read more

Grit Cycle is so amazing!! I used to hate spinning until I came to Grit and now I'm hooked! The music, the people, and the atmosphere are awesome! Not to mention you leave dripping sweat! Every class is a great workout! read more

Grit is amazing! I've been coming here with coworkers and friends since last year and it's such a great studio. Amazing atmosphere and a great location. All of the instructors are equally amazing, but I highly recommend Steph and Chelsea! Compared to other spin studios in the area, this place excels. read more

Motivational? YES. A freaking awesome workout? YES. Addicted? I absolutely am. A friend introduced me to Grit. I cycled in college and enjoyed it. But I wondered how good an indoor cycling class could actually be. It's amazing!! The instructors pump you up and motivate you. They change the lighting to meet the mood, sometimes a total blackout. The music is awesome and the workouts are challenging. I love this place! read more

GritCycle is awesome! This is the first place I've gone where I truly feel I get a total body workout! They have a decent amount of classes for you to chose from, easy app to use to sign up and pick your bike, the location is perfect, everything in new and clean, and most importantly the people (front desk and instructors) are some of the nicest, helpful and energizing you will ever meet! I could not recommend this place more! read more

I was a little hesitant about trying Grit because I've had rough experiences in the past with cycling (mostly the seat soreness!!). HOWEVER...I am soooo glad I got over my fear and tried it! I've taken classes with Charmaine and Lisa and they were both wonderful! Thanks Alyssa for convincing me to come to a class. For anyone on the fence, it is definitely worth trying out and I'm you'll be hooked too :) -Katie I've also now been to Maddie and steph and they're both awesome as well!! Grit is a must! read more

Super motivating, darling, happy, positive, clean vibe rhythm instructors that make your 45 minutes so pleasant and FUN! Just love these girls and thanks for making my workout amazing!! read more

I use to not like spin until I went to my first class at grit with Dani. I continued going and discovered some other amazing teachers. The latest one is Charmaine. Just as Steph and Lisa she brings a lot of energy into the room. Fun to rock with all of those girls. read more

Loved this class and location! Everyone is so helpful and friendly and the best part is getting the cool lavender soaked cloth at the end of class brought to each cyclist during the cool down.
