Melissa is absolutely fabulous! I was referred to Melissa last month by a friend who raved about her. I just finished my second session with Melissa. She is truly gifted as a massage therapist. A long career of hard work left me with some low back and other issues. I enjoy staying active, but couldn't find relief from other medical sources. After my second session with Melissa my body is feeling amazing. She massaged away my aches, pains and stress. Fantastic!! I can't thank Melissa enough. When you find someone truly knowledgeable and talented in the treatment of injuries and rehabilitation you simply can't say enough. It makes all the difference in what you can or can't do in your every day life. Especially when your body starts compounding issues trying to compensate from other issues. If you're reading this you probably know what I mean. It changes every aspect of your daily activities. I have worked construction my entire adult life, as well as maintaining an active lifestyle. The wear and tear on my spine and joints is irreversible at this point. In trying to manage staying ahead of it I've come across few people that can truly make a difference. Melissa's extensive knowledge and experience has keep me on my feet and mobile more than a few times now. For example, she had my plantar fasciitis resolved in just a few sessions (with me doing the things at home she suggested). Maintaining a semi-regular regime with her has really been a huge improvement in how well I can stay working and active. I simply can't recommend her enough. If you're starting to become aware of how far away the floor is when you drop something, or mentally bracing yourself for getting in and out of the car, its time to call Melissa. read more

Melissa is the best massage therapist in the area. I've tried many masseurs in the past couple years, here in the States and outside of the country. But believe me, nothing could get near to existence, in compare with her service and technic. Not only her personality is positive and energetic, which is important to have a good therapy experience, but also her skills are tremendous; her hands are strong to the muscles and gentle to your skin. She knows all the single parts of your body and applies the right pressure on each of them to release tension from your body. My sister is a long timer with Melissa and introduced her to me. I've got addicted to her therapy at the very first session, in a way that started using her service on a weekly basis. I recommend her to all, even if you're visiting southern California area, instead of wasting your time at gorges beaches ;-) to relax and get refreshed try her service in the private ocean-view room. It will inevitably become one of the highlights of your visit. . read more

I purchased a Groupon for a 90 minute massage with Melissa. Before I could even use it the Covid lock down hit. Now that I can finally safely redeem my Groupon I called Melissa's number and instead of receiving a call back I recdived a text message from her saying that she no longer is taking Groupons. And that I should just go back to Groupon and get my money back. First of all I don't understand if this is legal to not honor my Groupon that I purchased over a year ago. Still valid because of extensions. Second you must be quite sure you can resume building your business back up. I'm sure she must have taken a hit or she is pretty wealthy to turn away customers and potential referrals. Now not only will she not get my business but I am putting the word out that she can't be trusted. I can't even fathom that she is worthy of any of our business. read more

My wife pursued aa Groupon for the two of us. No response to multiple calls from both of us. While she might be great her lack of response is not excusable. Go elsewhere. read more

Melissa helped with a neck injury due to a misunderstanding with a mechanical bull. My neck was stiff and getting worse. She worked her magic and now I can move my neck! YAY!!! She also taped me up which I have not done before and it really helped stabilize my neck. I put a call into her and left a message. She called me back soon after and was able to see me immediately. I have been to almost every masseuse in Dana Point and she knows how to really release those tight muscles. Thank you Melissa!!!! read more

I got a massage with Melissa a long time ago and meant to review right away. She is so capable and understanding and has such a strong yet calm energy. simple as this... MELISSA IS AMAZING. Starting with her technique, she knows how to release tension and pressure in all the right spots. I almost don't even have to tell her where my "problem areas" are as she can quickly asses them. You will leave her feeling relaxed, refreshed and energized. I have tried all sorts of places and people for massages, but Melissa is where I have decided to stick. I used to only go to Burke Williams and until Melissa I thought this was my only and best option, but after just 1 session with her I immediately feel better. I carry a ton of tension in my neck and she is amazing at loosening it up and making me feel 100 times better. Besides her ability to massage, she will make you feel right at home and completely comfortable. I am so happy I found her and recommend her to all! read more

Melissa made me feel very comfortable with her right away with her knowledge of body mechanics and disarming sense of humor! It felt like connecting with an old friend. She gave me a truly customized massage and let her intuition guide the process. I was in deep shoulder and neck discomfort and she gave me tips to use after the session to assist in staying more in balance. I left the session feeling soothed and released to better be present with others. I highly recommend Melissa for therapeutic massage! read more

This review is long overdue. After living in the area for over 5 years and trying over 10 different local massage therapists ranging from small, individual practitioners to expensive high end resort masseuses, I found Melissa. Her therapy FAR exceeds that of any massage I've ever had and her treatments have made a significant improvement to various forms of acute back, neck, and shoulder pain I've experienced. This is not your typical inexperienced spa rubdown - she is a professional with an exceptional level of training in sports medicine and her trigger point therapy targets the source of pain symptoms for long term healing. Give Melissa a try - you will not be disappointed. read more

Melissa is very skilled in her massage techniques. I was comfortable & relaxed even though she was working on my areas of concern. I loved that she does not do a "text book" massage. I get massages a couple times/month from different spas/masseuses and Melissa is by far the best! I hate walking out of a massage and feeling like I was barely touched. This never happens with Melissa (although if you asked her to tickle you, she probably would!). She has strong hands and knows all about pressure points. When I leave a session, I always feel so relaxed, like the stress & strain of life just melted away. And although Melissa is respectful of quiet time, she is so insightful (& hilarious), that occasionally chatting through a session can be equally cathartic as relaxing in silence. read more
