This is an excellent studio! Not just the variety of classes and styles but also the really amazing teachers, all with an extensive knowledge and background in yoga, meditation, and human anatomy. I like the decor and 'vibe' of the interior including the yoga rooms and front area, with really nice products and space to keep your belongings. Also noteworthy is the community! I really wanted to like this studio, but I couldn't get past how rude and condescending the owner can be. She calls people out in front of the whole class if they don't follow her exactly, which makes the vibe uncomfortable. She says "listen to your body," but then criticizes you for doing just that. The room heat is solid, but the place could be a lot cleaner -- it doesn't smell great and feels like it needs more upkeep. Some of the other teachers are good -- challenging but respectful. Overall, not worth dealing with the lack of cleanliness or the owner's attitude. read more

I have taken many yoga classes, but this was a yoga experience. Recently I enrolled in a kundalini class to try it out. I've always been curious but too intimidated to go through with it. Sara, who taught the class, was so kind and supportive through the entire session. The 90 minutes included everything from breathwork, chanting, yoga and a gong bath. It felt so much more transformative than the typical yoga class. The breathwork and chanting were very new to me and I thought I would feel out-of-place. Not at all. The space she creates is so warm and inviting I found myself feeling right at home with the other 12 or 13 students. This is definitely a class I'll be taking again. For anyone who ever wondered about kundalini yoga, Sara is the teacher to go with. read more

I'm not sure why the instructor needed to wear a MAGA cap while teaching a class indoors, but it sure didn't feel like a place to go a focus/relax/get away from the world. Prices on the passes are a bit high but worth it since a lot of us can walk there (good location for the pier bowl people). Don't know about long term prices. read more

Deborah Miller has this intensity and strength that is balanced with serenity and grace for a perfect hot 26 class. With her guidance, I pushed myself to my edge, while loving myself completely, every minute of class. I love this space! I've been to a handful of meditations at this studio. I haven't had a chance to come in for yoga practice. The energy is very high vibrational. Everyone I've come across is kind and friendly. They have a large selection of clothes and other items for purchase. It's clean and comfortable. YNG has given me so much more than yoga. The instructors are fabulous and have really given me the confidence to expand my practice. I work FT, so having the flexibility to get to a 6 am class has been so important. I have not experienced classes in the non-heated room, but love the ever challenging shreddYNG with Deborah (really a Booty kicker) and power classes with Sonny!! Highly recommend. read more

YNG is one of those yoga studios you wished existed in every town. It is the perfect combination of hip yoga studio (with hot and non heated rooms), but is warm, friendly and down to earth. With the 2 rooms, there is something for everyone with a wide range of classes (I love the early morning yoga sculpt) . Cleanliness is of utmost importance, and Deborah and her husband Todd have installed state of the art HEPA filters (like the ones they use in operating rooms) so I was very comfortable returning to YNG while we are still dealing with Covid. This studio goes above and beyond during these times to make sure all of us are safe and stay healthy. Temperatures are taken upon arrival and masks are required. Once in the newly updated studios social distancing is practiced. The owners recently installed a hospital quality air sanitizing light system. I feel completely safe and confident while practicing at the studio. YNG has the top Yoga instructors in OC. The workouts range from a mellow "stretch" to powerful vinyasa flows and challenging "shredding" classes with weights and cardio. And two rooms to choose from. Hot or not. Last min googled a heated yoga class and popped in. GREAT workout. I took the shred class so even tho I was initially looking for a stretch/flow I was pleasantly surprised at how balanced of a sculpt yoga class this was. Great pacing, strong instruction, and a warm warm welcome from front desk as well as fellow students. Also, a great neighborhood vibe without the exclusivity. I discovered this place when I was staying with family in San Clemente over the holidays. I'm a bit confused because it's called AsanaFIT not AHA Yoga & Fitness. Perhaps it has two names. Site for reference: http://www.asanafit.com/ Anyway I got the bargain deal 10 dollar unlimited week pass. I became an addict after my first class. I highly recommend taking one of Molly's classes if you're a first timer. The room is heated which allows you to warm up quickly. After being spoiled by living in San Francisco for so many years I'll have to say that the yoga classes are average, but in all fairness they're still good. The Asana Sculpt (also heated) classes kicked ass! It's a great mix of weights, yoga, push-ups and sit-ups that keep your heart rate up and tone each major muscle group. I've been taking bar method for the past month and I still prefer the sculpt classes. read more

I have been practicing yoga for several yeas in San Clemente and this is the best yoga place. There are many options with a variety of classes and teachers. My favorite class is Asana Sculpt with Deborah Miller. She makes the class fun and challenging. They have special guests and different workshops regularly. I went to a ritual session with the Mexican shaman and sound healer, Rafael Bejarano, his session was amazing and gave me a lot of spiritual peace. This place is clean and well organized. I didn't know what to expect. I heard hot yoga was the greatest thing ever. My dad does tons of yoga here and mentioned that first timers can do 30 days for 30 dollars. So I say, "I'm still a skeptic, but I don't wanna miss out on that deal." I'm not a very flexible person, but Bruce, the instructor, was ok with us if we couldn't go all the way and gave us intermediate positions to work on while the super-yogis were twisting into pretzels. The super-hot temperatures made me sweat a ton and I loved it, and I surprised at how sore I was afterwards. I thought yoga would be a nice relaxing stretch, but some of those poses make you feel the burn of muscle growth. I'm looking forward to trying all the different classes, including the sculpt class, which I hear is really tough. read more

YNG Studios is an answer to prayer for me! I love the classes because of the great variety. The instructors are all unique and offer different "flavors" of yoga. It's easy to find what I need each week. I appreciate the schedule as it allows for many options in my work week.
