This program is wonderful!! I had been searching for a good positive program for my 9 year old daughter for the summer and lucky for us, we had the good fortune to stumble across Ms Sahel's CARE4YOGA camp. My daughter really needed a program that included exercise along with nutrition and cooking education. CARE4YOGA included this and so much more. Quite truthfully, my daughter came into Ms Sahel's yoga camp with a few anxiety issues after a bullying incident during the school year. Ms Sahel, through her very knowledgeable, kind and nurturing instruction has taught my daughter lifetime skills of yoga techniques and meditation which has so obviously helped my daughter learn to deal with stressful issues she could face in day-to-day life. One day when I was stressed out, my daughter begin to teach me the breathing techniques she had learned from Ms Sahel and I realized how incredibly therapeutic this camp program has been! Ms Sahel's program is very organized too, with great care taken to inspire in the children the importance of good nutrition. Her program serves only fresh, quality organic food. Each one of Ms Sahel's students (or "yogi's") are treated with the same unique kindness. My daughter and several of the other students had birthday celebrations during camp and Ms Sahel made the celebrations so special...a personal touch that I'm sure can not be found through any other camp program. CARE4YOGA is a very special and quality program and I realize how lucky I am as a parent of the benefits my daughter has received through Ms Sahel's nurturing style of teaching. read more

I highly recommend this camp... I have an 8 year old Son that is super active, competitive by nature and loves all sports. Needless to say, I was not sure how he would enjoy a Yoga Camp but I knew that exposure to the practice of Yoga would be good for his flexibility and he sure could benefit from learning how to "be still" ;) On the 1st day, he was asking to stay longer and was very excited to go back. He loved Sahel's contagious energy and enthusiasm. Not only did he learn how to practice his Sun Salutations but he also gained exposure to the art of meditation. The Yoga was just a portion of what this camp has to offer. He also enjoyed a well rounded week of lots of fun activities. He did a little organic gardening and even brought home his own creatively decorated tomato pot. The kids made yummy healthy smoothies together, hula hooped with a pro, played fun games & at each days end they wrote all about their adventures in a journal. It is so comforting as a Mom to be able to leave my Son at a Camp in the hands of such a caring, nurturing soul as Sahel. Honestly, how many camps do you know that feed your kids healthy snacks and lunches? Sahel has managed to expose them to creative, cultured activities aimed at helping them appreciate the benefits of health, exercise, nutrition and mindfulness all wrapped up in a fun, kid friendly package. This camp is one of a kind! Great job Sahel & Care4yoga! Namaste' read more

When my friend Sahel told me about the Summer Camp she began, I was elated! I am so happy and excited that my friend and fellow Yogini is following her her heart and imparting her special talent and gift in guiding children. Her brochure has a long list of what her students get to experience while in her care, but she gave so much more!! I felt fortunate to be asked to have my, 6 year old, son attend her Care 4 Yoga camp, but I wasn't so sure that my son would be as excited about it as I was. Boy, was I mistaken. After attending his fist day, he wanted to arrive early and stay late. He enjoyed learning Yoga, making new friends, being creative , eating healthy food, and playing with Sahel's son, Tabay. My son had just celebrated his sixth birthday prior to starting camp, and even though Sahel was feeling a bit under the weather she managed to be her usual cheerful self and surprised my son with a party! Sahel goes above and beyond. Her light shines wherever she goes and my son and I are so happy to be able to continue to see Miss Sahel Now that she is guiding Yoga at is school. Care 4 Yoga is at Concordia Elementary!!! You have to check out her after school program offered through Saddleback College. I highly recommend it. Thank you Sahel, for all that you are and do. read more

Sahel has come to work with my 5th grade class for the last 6 months every Wednesday. Normally we would do PE and would play games on the field. Kids who had excelled at sports enjoyed it and the kids that didn't, just went along with those typical field play days. I didn't know what would happen with yoga, but as it turns out the kids love it! They love the fact that they can all have fun doing it, it is no stress, fun, and that they come out feeling really good. She has them working together in poses where they have to trust each other and support each other. Throughout the day some kids may have a hard time being serious about what they are supposed to be doing during PE but during this yoga class, that is not the situation. When they are finished they come out and they look like they have had a good time and are relaxed. I ask them how it was and they all say it was good..... that is something that will and never has happened after a regular PE class. I'd like to thank Sahel for all the time she has given to my students for yoga practice, for free, every week, and for being such a good positive influence on all of my students. read more

My 8 year old son absolutely loves Care4yoga. It's not just a camp about yoga, but a camp that teaches kids about healthy living in a fun way. Sahel is an incredibly amazing instructor. She loves teaching the kids and it shows. They have cooking lessons using all organic foods. One day while making smoothies, the kids discovered that they liked kale. Prior to this, my son wouldn't even look at salad! During another class, the children planted organic vegetables in pots and took them home. This was great because not only did they learn about vegetables, but also the responsibility of caring for a living thing. Almost daily my son asks, "Do I need to water my plant today?". Sahel has them write in journals. If you have kids like mine, you know how difficult it is to get them to do this outside of school and homework especially during summer vacation. The camp includes other activities like arts and crafts. They even had a piano lesson. I truly cannot say enough great things about this camp. Without question, my son will be attending this camp every summer. I highly recommend it to everyone with kids. read more

Wow!! What an amazing, nurturing, unique and fantastic experience! I can 100% agree with all the other 5 star reviews here. My two daughters , ages 5 and 7, came home from their first day of half day camp begging to go full time. They were bubbling over talking about the yoga, the cooking and all the wonderful activities they experienced. Of all the camps we've had this summer, this is their absolute favorite and the one they talk about the most. The owner, Sahel is the most nurturing person. She even took me under her wing when she heard I was sick and literally gave me a plan to start healing holistically. She is a positive and enthusiastic person that creates a wonderful environment for the kids in the camp. Check it out, you will not be disappointed! read more

I have been fortunate enough to have my daughter learn/practice yoga weekly with Sahel and Company at Care4yoga in our schools afterschool program for over three years and my son for almost one. What a fantastic experience. My daughter suffers from anxiety and Sahel has worked with her on breathing that she now uses to get her through panic attacks. My very active six year old boy decided on the first class that he wasn't going to have anything to do with yoga. That was only one class because every class after Sahel made sure to work with him and always makes sure to tell me in front of him how great he does every week. He is now teaching us how to do yoga at home. Fantastic experience and cannot recommend more. read more

My son had heart surgery last year, he's 9. There's not a lot of physical activity he can do besides swimming & cycling. He met Miss Sahel on his own at school and the 2 compared scars, as she's a cancer survivor. He begged me to join yoga after that. I never thought of yoga for boys, but I remember my dance teacher in high school saying that men, will not be able to touch their toes by age 40. He has learned to relax, breathing techniques, and is super proud of the poses he can do. There's also a silent understanding between the students it seems that they are a team. I'm so glad he's a part of this studio and he's even doing thMiss Sahel & Tabay are awesome. read more
