I chose this place based on the strong Yelp reviews, but after my visit I honestly question how those ratings are so high. From the beginning, the massage pressure was extremely weak--more like light rubbing than an actual massage. I politely asked multiple times for firmer pressure because I was feeling absolutely no benefit, but it kept reverting back to barely-there touches within minutes. When I continued to request stronger pressure, the therapist eventually responded by going to the complete opposite extreme--applying painfully hard pressure all at once, followed by a rude and dismissive tone asking, "Is this strong enough for you?" The attitude shift felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, as if my basic request for proper pressure was an inconvenience. After that point, the entire session felt rushed and passive-aggressive. The handling of towels and overall body language made it feel like the therapist was simply trying to get through the time rather than provide any level of care or professionalism. When I went to pay, the staff spoke to each other in their own language while staring directly at me, which made me feel very uncomfortable. They then asked for a tip. I left 20%, but honestly it did not reflect the quality of service at all. Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant experience and I won't be returning. As a paying customer, I expect a professional massage. If the service consists of little more than lightly rubbing the skin and then becoming irritated when feedback is given, it's simply not worth the money. All of the women we had in the past weren't there anymore so we tried new massage therapists and we left disappointed. BUT we shared our thoughts with their team and for Mother's Day we went back and the therapists were so nice and made sure we left feeling amazing. Good lesson to give a biz a second chance. Very friendly and very accommodating where they can be. They book quickly on the weekends! Very highly demanded. When there are no appointments expected, they leave the front office to work on rooms that were just used. Eg, placing them for washing machine, dryer, refreshing, cutting slices of pineapple, refilling, etc. The massage is always GREAT! I usually do a 120 or 90 minute but just now, finished a 45 minute. I wondered how they could finish me in 45. I have no expectations anymore, she was very thorough and stretched me so well in just 45 minutes. At the end of service, stay for a slice of cut pineapple and hot tea (or water). They use the prettiest plates and cups. They take both credit and cash and give you stamp cards ! And there's also a lot of locations available so you're not just stuck with one, but this is literally within walking distance of my house. I'm very excited for my next massage.
