The studio is super cute right off the Old Firehouse Alley. It had a very welcoming vibe which Jason made even more comfortable by continually telling us that it's ok to be weird and try things. "It's a yoga studio..." :-) I felt right at home. The cues were good for this class of what appeared to be experienced practitioners. However, I still highly recommend this for first timers because of the inviting and comfortable atmosphere here. If it is your first time trying yoga, just let Jason, or any instructor, know and they will definitely be sure to accommodate with more direction and modifications. I loved starting my Sunday here!

Despite not being as knowledgeable as a lot of the yogis there, I never feel judged by them. Even all of their clients are so kind. This place just has amazing energy- it is so warm and welcoming. I will say: the sculpt class is no joke. That was the first one I tried, and I did get through it, but if you're a beginner it's a little insane. I'm happy to know that once I get the hang of things, they have class options that will challenge me that much, though. This community provides each of us the ability to express our inner desires and wants as long as we can individually find the time to dedicate to our practice. I'm not saying you have to come every day, maybe at least once a week and grow by adding on as you find and design your own destiny with all the possibilities this studio provides us to grow with each passing year. I started out practicing here at this particular studio a year ago in November 2014 and kept coming back for more by involving myself in new avenues and new possibilities no other studio can provide like this one has for me. Each teachers unique teaching skills has allowed more openness and awareness in my mind, body and spirit as I come to each class. The part that shines through is how much each teacher genially cares for you and all your differences that makes you who you are. I have bad knees and a spot in my lumbar spine that has kept me in pain for years, and sometimes I think to myself if these activities are even a possibility, but as I increase my practice and my awareness of how to grow I become more able to the possibilities before me and make them into a reality. Each of us have different body injuries or stiff muscles and we each are learning how to isolate each muscle at different rates during yoga classes acknowledged by each teacher. The teachers exceed by assisting you to becoming the best you can be by genital guided yoga, individualized yoga settings, to inversions on the silks and lira, massage, teachings of self massage and so much more than I can put into words. I can't wait to discover more with each passing time I come here to LiveBeyondLimit! Thank you for all of your true self guidance during and between classes with each of us. I truly believe that I am becoming more my true self the more that I spend in this studio. I have less pain, more strength, more awareness of muscle isolations, and my mind feels clear with intentions to work harder towards my hopes and dreams. She held onto it for me because I didn't have anywhere to put it since I was sleeping out of my car at the time. She said someone bought it, but she never paid me for it, so who knows what happened. A few years ago, I would regularly go to classes and it was enjoyable. There were a couple experiences where it gave me a uncomfortable feeling about her. We did a hiking session together. Nobody showed up but me, so she and I went. I thought it was nice, but noticed that when she wanted to take a picture with me, it was just for her socials so her image would look good. Then not too long after that, there was a art event at the studio which I paid and went to. I figured it was just an art show but there was more to it. At the time, I struggled a lot more when it came to crowds. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, have fun, and to see what it was all about. I brought my sketch book to draw and I also joined in the audience to watch the aerial show (I think it was) even though I thought it was an art show. I got intense anxiety and overwhelm (probably from the energy from being in a crowd or certain people), so I left and cried in the car. I had texted Kate and told her what happened, but she didn't care. Kept my money too. Was only there for 15 or 20 minutes. So overall, these experiences showed me how greedy and fake she was. I start going back in November because I'm getting back into shape and I wanted to try the aerial classes again, but I can't afford very much, so I go with the 5 class plan for $59. My mom is the one that even helped me and I told her that. I completed the classes (except for one which I was not feeling that day, but I already showed up, so no sense in trying to get another class). I was not planning on going again (a couple of people including an instructor found that out by asking me questions) because I wanted to continue at a gym since my main focus ended up being working out/exercising. The gym is what is beneficial for me. I felt aerial yoga wasn't. Besides this reason, I didn't feel fully welcome and the instructors were not patient (my coordination is poor) except for one, but I forgot her name, I'm sorry. I came to find this past Tuesday night that my account was charged by the studio and my account was at 97 cents. I texted Kate personally. You can see the whole conversation plus more in the screenshot photos for yourselves. Which includes her trying to offer a partial refund through Venmo which is outside of her business. If she can offer that, then she could've just given me my refund. Acted fake by throwing in "we've enjoyed having you here" to again be careful as a business owner and her reputation. I emailed her because I kept checking my account on the studio website, since it kept saying my plan wasn't canceled yet and it had already been a whole day. So I told her to close my account and to refund me, or I'm going to report her and THEN she finally decided to cancel it. She also told me she would refund my original payment, but she only did a partial refund of $38 out of $59. She lied and is clearly greedy. Making it into a whole complex mess, when it couldve just been played out smoothly. She blocked me after I told her to not respond back to my text or she did after my email, I'm not sure, but I'll be spreading all this information around everywhere. I made a post about it on my Facebook and someone mentioned that they've heard of this situation happening a lot at this studio and what happened to one of their clients, so that didn't surprise me.
