Pure Barre is truly the best way to get pure results. I've been a fitness instructor for 4 years teaching everything from SPIN to PiYo and TurboKick. I've been a fitness enthusiast for my entire life being involved in dance and a ton of sports, not to mention the countless at-home fitness programs I've acquired over the years. After working out to Tracy Anderson and the New York City Ballet workout DVDs at home and taking a Barre class at a local gym, I knew I wanted...no, needed...more. Enter Pure Barre. My first class was definitely not intimidating like many new fitness classes can be but rather very uplifting. The fitness instructor in me loved how perfect of a volume the music was (you know, not too soft, not too loud but just loud enough to make you push through each and every movement). The fitness instructor in me loved how on-point the instructor (Erika taught my first class) was with her cues. The student in me loved the hands-on adjustments that caused me to feel the burn and find my shake. The woman in me loved how empowered my first class made me feel. It was all of the above feelings (and so much more!) that caused me to take a huge cut in my group exercise teaching gigs at a local gym to do something I haven't done in 4 years--focus on myself, my own fitness goals and my workout. I've been going to Pure Barre for 2 months to the day and have already lost 6 inches off my entire body. My only complaint (but not really :)) is that, though the inches are gone, my pants and skirts don't fit like they used to because of the booty I've developed! Now, when I teach my own classes (SPIN) or go for a hike, I notice a huge improvement in my endurance and strength and know it's all from the lift. tone. burn. I've been away from a regular exercise routine for five years. It was time to make a change, but I was hesitant to join a gym. I needed something different and convenient. I found Pure Barre! It's low impact, but without question it will challenge you. Movements are small and concentrated. You can modify any movement to work for your abilities. The workout requires focus -- this may be my favorite part. I'm so focused on what I'm doing that I don't notice anyone else (or the clock!). Starting a new exercise routine can be intimidating, but the attitude at Pure Barre is very supportive. From the very first day, the staff made a point of knowing my name and a little bit about me. I'm so happy I found this perfect Barre studio. It has everything to offer. Reasonable unlimited membership options, and fantastic single class packs for people who might need to travel for work. I find the class schedule works great for anyone's schedule. So many times to take class and Meghan the amazing studio owner, has added earlier times per the request of the members. She listens to what the needs are of the clients and delivers. You will be greeted by an amazing front desk staff, always with a smile and ready to help attitude. The teachers are upbeat, caring and knowledge about their industry. They make class fun and different each time. Meghan the studio owner communicates with her clients, sets goals for members to push themselves and adds fun community events either in or out of the studio so you can feel involved. I absolutely LOVE this studio! The staff, the instructors, the owner, Meghan and the clients that come here are seriously the BEST!!! I often travel from Texas to Fort Collins and I ALWAYS come take classes here when I'm in town! The studio is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and so SO clean! ( OCD issues)!! I am so thankful to have found Pure Barre Fort Collins. The workouts are KILLER! I love that there's multiple options for getting a workout in. Pure Barre classic (traditional barrre), Pure Empower (cardio) and Pure Reform (resistance). All the classes challenge me in unique ways and always leave me shaking. Yes the studio doesn't honor memberships from others (saw this in a previous review), but that's a corporate rule and is followed by every Pure Barre studio nation-wide. BUT autopay members do get free access to Pure Barre on Demand which is an awesome way to get to the barre from anywhere in the world. I absolutely love Pure Barre in Fort Collins. First because of what it is doing for my body. Not to mention after I had a baby I was needing physical therapy to help tighten certain things, but thanks to Pure Barre I don't have to pay for physical therapy. The instructors are super friendly and really help you to feel comfortable and motivated whether it's your first class or your 50th. And the new owner Meghan is the sweetest person. Let me tell you, I usually dislike group fitness type classes, but I loved PureBarre. The instructor of the beginner class really helped with my form without calling me out in front of the entire class (which I appreciated). I also ABSOLUTELY felt the burn. By the end of the class my legs were shaking and very tired. The slow and controlled manner of the exercises really was easy on my (wrecked) joints. I'll be back to this location for sure. Love this place, the owner, Stephanie, and all the instructors! Location is convenient, facility is clean, and the atmosphere is always upbeat and friendly. The workout is fantastic and you start seeing results rather quickly. I was a hesitant to try Pure Barre - thought I would be bored - well I could not have been more wrong! I have struggled over the past few years to find something that I will stick with over time. After starting Pure Barre classes I was hooked and now want to go vs dreading getting out of bed to exercise. They advertise you can see results in as few as 10 classes and this is not a lie! My favorite workout! This is the hardest workout I've ever have done in my life. I have had amaizing results! 3 1/2 inches off my waist in 6 months. I've exercised all my life but have never loved what I did and never have seen the results that pure barre produces. This by far is the best workout I've ever done.
