We had a solid takeout experience. We started by splitting the Vegetable Spring Rolls, which we're actually pretty particular about. Thankfully, these ones were really good! They were nice and big, packed with flavour, and you get four pieces per order, which made for a great appetizer. For my main, I ordered the Penang Curry with Beef and really enjoyed it. The curry had great flavour and I was very happy with my choice. The only downside was that the beef was a little tough in some bites, but overall, I still really enjoyed the dish. My vegetarian wife ordered the Mango Curry with Tofu and Vegetables and enjoyed her meal as well. Unfortunately, she did find a tiny piece of chicken in her dish, which was obviously disappointing and something that shouldn't happen, especially when ordering a vegetarian meal. Overall, a solid takeout experience. We really enjoyed the spring rolls and our curries, and we'd be interested in trying some other dishes from the menu in the future. Got take out when we were staying near here. Tom Kha soup was excellent. Lots of chicken and vegetables in it and very creamy. Both had the pineapple fried rice. Good flavor bur a little bit on the dry side. Preparation was quite quick and staff very friendly. read more

Went for lunch, ordered the pad thai. It came with a choice of soup/salad. The soup was spicy and sweet, perfectly seasoned. Very balanced and delicious. I got a thai iced tea to drink and that was also absolutely delicious. Our server Keylee was very kind and attentive. food came out quickly and very hot. Great flavour in this Thai food! We travel a long ways to get here. But this is definitely a case of don't fix what isn't broken. They've changed the portion size (smaller now) and the plates (used to be bowls which were better) and it has affected the experience. Food was still good but it was disappointing to see. My husband and I have been coming to visit the Niagara wine and twenty valley wine regions last couple of years now. One day I was craving for Thai food after many wine tastings. So I got on Yelp and found this place. We have been coming here ever since. The food never disappointed me. It doesn't matter if you get take out or dine in. Their food is all delicious. Various curries, noodle dishes, rice ...etc. I see lots of people do take out and I was one of them. But I also love to dine in there because dining area is nice and spacey. Furnitures are well maintained and clean. Well decorated. All the staffs who works there wears traditional Thai attire which gives it that special flare. Not a lot of places do that. Food portions are generous. From the food to the drink. They fill up everything up to the top. One day I ordered one glass of white wine to pair with food. Wine was filled up to the top. When our dinner arrived we were surprised with how much rice We got. In the states we only get one scoop and here we got double. One order of white rice is enough for two people. I was not hopeful when a Thai restaurant in Grimsby was opening that it would be as good as the ones I was going to in Hamilton through Toronto. As I am now a regular customer at Grimsby Thai, it has become my favourite restaurant in Grimsby. My favourites are the red curry, Tom Yum soup, Royal Pad Thai and Garlic Shrimp with extra broccoli. I have only gone for dinners and picked up take out and the service is always good. read more

Worst pad Thai I've ever had. Tasted incredibly fishy. Couldn't get more than a few bites down. The chicken in the wontons was chewy.

Really good food. I went with a friend tonight. The restaurant opened about a week ago and it seems like they're still working out some flow issues, but the staff was friendly and I was really impressed with the food. I had mango curry, which had a great mix of sweet and spicy. My friend had a curry pad Thai (they had several variations of pad Thai). I'll definitely be going back. read more

Food is fine but service was horrible. The women who served us was incredibly rude and made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We have been there a few times because it's local and the food is good but we won't be going back because of the bad service. Honestly, the food is okay. I agree with other reviewers that it is at best, inconsistent. Probably okay if you're doing take out, but pricey for that. Mostly the service is terrible though. Our waitress made us feel like an inconvenience, there was little to no care in her service. Before we were served water we were told to expect a wait (even though there were many empty tables and most had already been served.) Nothing you would expect from waitstaff happened. It isn't a fast food joint, and more expensive than Swiss Chalet but honestly terrible service. The food isn't good enough to carry the attitude or the lack of care. Not consistent. I have been there several times and it feels like a roll of the dice as to whether or not I'll get a good meal. Food can be too greasy and lacking flavour. Most recent visit left me queasy after ordering cashew nut tofu, plain steamed rice, and spring rolls. I won't be go by back for quite a while, if ever. read more

I stopped by this place during a road trip. I didn't have some fancy tiny but when I actually came in it was very clean very, pleasant. the people there were wonderful - very helpful. I came in not knowing what to have -I wanted to try a curry but cannot very much handle spiciness. They actually brought out samples for me to try to make sure they're not too spicy. I did not even end up getting them because they were too spicy for my palate but they were never unpleasant about it. It took me forever to decide and when I did they were very easy-going. I ended up getting a shrimp stirfry which was absolutely delicious. The perfect balance between sweet and savory. The vegetables are fresh the shrimp was perfect- not chewy or rubbery - and a good size as well. Finally , I was reading during the meal andthey let me eat and stay as long as I wanted even though the place was filling up for lunch and quickly. Overall I could not be happier and would return every day if it wasn't such a long drive from home. The food was excellent and the service was great the place was clean and the prices are very decent. read more
