I had spent several months researching and learning about the different benefits and drawbacks of a wide variety of flooring products; so when I went to them I already had a pretty good understanding of what I was looking at. But even still, they were able to more fully explain the fundamentals of flooring installation. I took the information away with me and I continued to work-out what I was going to ultimately install. After visiting a few other flooring venues, including DIY establishments, I made a plan that included hiring Ogle's. And I don't regret it all.

Then the foyer, hall and one spare bedroom, the finally the master and one more bedroom. The installers were on time, with one exception and they called us to let us know they would be running late. They were also friendly and professional and went out of their way to address any issues we had. They made sure all squeaks we eliminated before installing the flooring, even taking 15 minutes to cure a squeak in the kitchen! They make sure you are satisfied with the work before leaving, then thank you for your business. They do sweep up inside and all large debris is cleaned up before they leave as well. The only thing that kept me from giving them 5 stars is the fact that they do not have a shop vac with them to clean up the saw dust left behind. The last install they used my garage to cut flooring which was fine since it looked as if it was going to rain any minute, but left a film of saw dust all over everything. The install before that, it was my deck and deck furniture covered in saw dust. Does'nt it make sense for a flooring company that has to cut flooring to install it knowing saw dust is going to be left behind to carry a shop vac to either vacuum up or blow the saw dust away instead of leaving it all over a customers garage or deck? Other than that, my wife and I are satisfied with Ogle's and the job they have done installing the new flooring in our home.

A couple years ago, Darin came out and gave us an estimate for the same work. He measured the moisture content in the sub-flooring and beams in the crawlspace and determined that we needed to cover/seal the bare ground in the crawlspace in order to lower the moisture content in the wood. He did not charge us for that consultation. We installed the vapor barrier in the crawlspace and had him come out again and complete the job. We felt totally comfortable leaving him keys to the house while we went to the mountains for a week. He communicated with us frequently via text/pictures and Facetime. The transformation of the floors is simply amazing. The natural color finish brought out all the beautiful variations in the old one and a half inch wide pine flooring. Couldn't be more pleased.

I happened to see Little Wood Flooring on my way to coffee one morning and decided to go in and check it out. I am SO GLAD I did. John was incredibly helpful and even suggested a painter that they often team up with for touch ups and repairs after their work is done. 1. The carpet was installed and complete in one and a half days. 2. For our hardwood floors we decided to just go with a maintenance coat rather than a complete strip and refinish and they look beautiful, they shine and glow, all the dullness of age is gone. 3. Our stairs took a while and there were a couple of things wrong. I showed it to John and he is scheduling the fix for it. *The only thing I would say that they could improve upon is asking about what we want... When we told them we wanted to replace the stairs they were like okay we can do that .... We later had to set up a meeting with them to select what we wanted they were planning on just replacing the railing and balusters with the same exact style...luckily we had Logan come over with a book of styles and we showed him what we wanted...I wish they would have taken the initiative in the beginning of the process to ask "What style do you want" or "Hey there are a bunch of options. We had two other companies that we had seen on TV come to the house and give us a proposal. The sales guy for University was Abe. Abe contacted the manufacturer of the LVP and was able to get the exact match to the rest of the house. The other vendors had a close match. The quote was a lot less than the other two vendors so we contracted. In less than a week they had the LVP. The install took one day for three bedrooms with a walk in closet. Abe, the sales guy, was also the project manager, spending most of the day directing the installers. I would definitely use them again.

You've probably seen their commercials on TV. They were the worst. Limited selection, salesman that didn't know their products but pushed what was best for the company. Yes, their prices looked good. We actually signed a contract with E****re, who showed up with missing material and told us they couldn't do the installation the salesman had charged us for. So we did a 180, and started looking at local companies. Of the three, Discount Floor Covering impressed us the most. Terrific selection of tile, and Cheryl was amazingly helpful in getting us to narrow down what we needed. She came to the house, measured everything perfectly, explained the process with great patience, and left us feeling we'd made the right choice. The price was right in line with what we had originally expected. Installation was flawless, fast, and they left the place spotless. I can't say enough about Cheryl's knowledge of her products, including making them work with existing conditions. She also could rattle off the manufacturer's recommendations and warranties for each product. We ended up installing Mannington Max, based on her recommendations.
