I work at the Townhall and love going to Grill Daddy's for lunch. They have amazing lunch specials and a very diverse menu. The portions are huge and you're guaranteed to not leave hungry no matter what you have. The owner, Sri, is an extremely nice individual who does his best to show you his appreciation. I got hooked up to this restaurant from the first time I ate there. The owner Sri, is a very kind man. He values life and enjoys it. The menu is an ordinary one but food quality is great, and it's worth every dollar u pay for it. Every thing there is made fresh to order. The food is great. Portions are huge. However no kids menu and poor service left me thinking I won't be back for a family breakfast anytime soon. It would have been nice if the waitress said something about the portion sizes when I ordered for my daughters. The banana nutella crepe was bigger than my 8 year old. The food didn't come out at the same time either. It appears that most tables were served that way. Up to 10 minutes between the first and the third dish being served. Phenomenal quality food made- I can taste how much love and care was put into it. I'm a huge breakfast/brunch person so I gotta say my standards are quite high. I have to say this place beat out all the other breakfast places I've tried. The food portions were great, not stingy at all, everything tasted fresh and put together with a lot of thought and effort. We had the Florentine Benedict, the Milton Breakfast Platter and the Banana Nutella Crepe! I had the Benedict, it wasn't run down or pasty, just the right amount of creaminess over 3 eggs, a great amount of spinach and some cheese and fresh English muffin. The homemade fries had a very nice touch of seasoning with a light crisp on the outside and soft enough in the inside. It wasn't dripping with oil or anything. Loved it! The crepe wasn't overly sweet but just enough of sweetness to it- again it tasted not of a franchise quick put-together of cream and Nutella but so much fresher and with thought. I don't know how to explain. Bananas and some strawberries on the side were fresh and that dash of cinnamon and honey was just perfect. I got to speak and meet with Sri, the chef and owner and you can tell how much of a passion and heart he has for the food he makes for all of his customers. He doesn't feed customers he wouldn't genuinely enjoy himself. Please give this place a try guys and say hello to Sri! We were in Milton for an appointment one day and decided out of the blue to have breakfast/brunch there since it was around noonish. Picked this place from Yelp, seemed yummy and reasonable. Called to see if they were busy since it was Saturday and in case they required res, which they don't, they said they weren't at that moment, so we decided to give them a try. My wife likes Benis lately, likes trying different kinds, she picked the Salmon, I picked the one called Grill Daddy's or something like that, I believe. Both were delicious!!! The Salmon was smoked!!! Mine had peameal bacon, not very salty and very tender. Seemed pretty good quality. All in all, together with the slightly spicey potatoes, they do offer extra spicy sauce should you need it, together with the atmosphere and the look of the place, made for a nice experience. I love going out for breakfast or brunch. My grandson was craving a home made burger and I love my eggs for breakfast. We tried Grill Daddy which is a quaint small place with an out door patio in the front of the restaurant. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with toast, ham and cubed crunchy spiced potatoes. My grandson ordered the home made burger from the children's with the same cubed spiced crunchy potatoes along with a side order of home made gravy. The portions were huge and my grandsons burger was so huge that I had to cut it in half for him. He raved about the crunchy potatoes and the home made gravy. We asked for a take out container for the burger and potatoes as he couldn't finish it due to the size of it. He loved the gravy that I also had to ask for a small container so we can take it home too. My breakfast was delicious. I'm definitely going back as I heard a customer rave about the eggs benny and steak. Service was excellent and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Oh we love it here. In the summer the Milton farmers market runs right through here so it's a nice place to grab breakfast with the kids before heading to the farmers market for the rest of the morning. The girls working here are really sweet as well and you'll see sometimes that even groups of opp stop by for their morning breakfast together. read more

My only concern is the lack of space- it's a small restaurant with limited seating, so it's all about timing if you want to be seated quickly. Grill Daddy is probably the ONLY breakfast/ brunch place in Milton worth visiting. This weekend, my partner and I frequented it on both Saturday and Sunday for breakfast. On Saturday, Main street was closed off for an Easter festival for all the kids. Each restaurant/ business was handing out candy to hordes of adorable children and there was a fire truck at the end of the street blocking traffic. We didn't wait long (maybe 2 min) for a table and were seated in this cozy restaurant quickly. Others, especially groups with 3+ people had to wait longer. We both had coffee (pretty standard- no espresso machine here) and shared our main meals both days (the portions are huge!) The reviews were absolutely right, the breakfast potatoes are perfect! They are crispy on the outside, hot and fluffy on the inside, perfectly seasoned with some kind of spicy/salty/ cajun mixture. The first day we had the smoked salmon omelette, really delicious, but make sure you love smoked salmon. They give you a HUGE piece on top of your eggs. We also ordered a side pancake (just 1) it was fluffy and delicious and just enough for two people to share. The next day we ordered the vegetarian scramble, but I wouldn't suggest it because the crispy potatoes get a bit soggy under the scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce. Overall, a quaint little place with really friendly staff, mostly young women, and good breakfast food at a decent price. Each day, our meal cost around $24 (one main and 2 coffees). read more

We were 5 people that went for breakfast 3 adults 2 kids ordered breakfast . Asked if the had any turkey or chicken bacon or sausage they did not so we order eggs ,toast and home fries NO MEAT and got charged for the regular breakfast with meat. I was not impressed when we asked the waitress she called Sri over and he said that was the price and they do have a option for no meat, I explained to him that a lot of places don't carry turkey/chicken but they will over you a extra egg Or some pancakes. I have to say I wasn't impressed with the food or the portions. The food was overly greasy and tasteless. Sunset Grill is far better breakfast option or even Troy's Diner. This is a decent restaurant but what really sets it apart is their customer service. I can not praise them highly enough (and especially after another place I recently reviewed it is like night & day). We stopped by for a quick breakfast for the family and food was good, prompt, and servers are excellent here.
