This review is long overdue! A year ago Ivan's crew moved me 2 hours away - the guys were amazingly kind and at the same time efficient. Well, I'm moving back. There was no question who I wanted to help me move, I contacted Ivan again. He and Toby arrived when he said he would, and despite my not being organized they got it together! Good communication, respected my items. I recommend to anyone needing to move if it's not one of your favorite things (like me) don't do it all yourself - communicate the scope of your project (ex: how many rooms, if you need help packing) Both of my moves were efficiently and safely done I am grateful I found movers I'm comfortable with handling my personal stuff! And let go of control when you have capable professionals. It does cost some money but the time and stress when it comes to moving yourself is not worth it! read more

We contacted Grigsbys to unload a POD following a cross-country move. They were fantastic from start to finish, allowing us to schedule, shift by a day, and shift again as we were sorting out POD delivery and pick-up. On moving day, Ivan and Burrel arrived on time and proceeded to unload boxes, bins, and furniture without a single drop, ding, or dent. They worked efficiently, moved a few large pieces from one room to another as we were trying to decide where we wanted them to go, and finished well within the scheduled time, offering to help with additional furniture set-up or anything else we might need. I would use them again in a heartbeat . . . although I am hoping to not move again for a very long time. read more

Hire these guys!!!! Ivan and Burrell are amazing. I had to relocate for my husbands company in less than 3 days. Ivan accepted the job on such short notice and on his day off, Sunday. Ivan and Burrell were so amazing they took such great care of all of my things and wrapped things appropriately, everything went perfectly. They even helped me box some things up that I didn't have packed yet. They get the job done perfectly and make sure everything is where you need it when they move you in. I will be using them again. I was looking for movers and had contacted another company first. They were booked for the day, but they were Ivan's previous employer and highly recommended him. He said Ivan was one of his best movers and started his own business. Ivan and his team were fantastic and made moving so much easier. My husband and I had everything packed in our three bedroom, two story house and they had everything loaded and unloaded into another two story house in a little over four hours. Prior to Contacting Grigsbys Movers , I reached out to 3 other moving companies and had no luck . When I contacted Ivan, I explained our situation to him. We had to relocate from Sacramento to Portland, OR due to a family member being hospitalized and needed us there urgently. He took this into consideration and provided me with 3 movers, a26ft truck and assure me that they would have our belong in Portland the following day before 10 o'clock .They made it possible. Best and easiest move I have ever had! They were scheduled to come at 8 and came at 7:50. I had a large home to move and Daniel and Theo got it done in 2 hrs. These two guys worked hard and fast! I moved into an apt on the third floor and again they moved all of my stuff up in two hours. I'm a bit mind blown that just two guys could move such heavy things so quickly. Man! These fellas were quick, nice, & flexible with the demands that we had. I met Juwan and Tori. I didn't even want them to leave! They had to set up a hhuuuuuge couch, remove an old king size bed, replace it with the new one, and set up two bedroom dresser sets. They did it while laughing with me. Not your typical help. I had some bedroom furniture moved from Folsom to So Cal. ivan quoted me a flat rate, him and his helper arrived (as scheduled) on time, and my furniture was delivered the next "morning". no issues, no complaints. He and his movers, Juan and Burrel, came 15 minutes early and finished moving everything in an hour and a half. They were fast and efficient, and they made sure to wrap any glass and furniture.
