There was no pressure, no gatekeeping, just pure good vibes. I wasn't even into Labubu or blind boxes before this stop and then I left with two Labubus for myself and one for my friend. Since then, I've fallen deep into the blind box universe and now know way more than I ever expected about Baby Three, Hirono, Nanci, Molly, and more. This is thanks largely to Whatnot spirals and this store setting the spark! What's wild is that looking back now, this shop carries so many high-demand blind boxes that are hard to find elsewhere. If you're even blind-box curious, this is the place that will tip you over the edge (in the best way). Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly curated by someone who actually loves the community. I will absolutely be back (and my wallet is already nervous).

My favorite Anime of all time is DeathNote, so I figured this was the perfect selection. Several titles caught my eye, and I look forward to my next visit. The purchase price was reasonable; it was actually a bit less than the cost at some other places, and it was a great buy. It's all here in one crowded, slightly chaotic package. They've got a ton of bulk Pokémon and Magic cards in large, loosely organized drawers you can dig through for hours. You probably won't find anything rare, but it's a good time if you're the type to go treasure hunting for something. There's a decent selection of tabletop minis, paints, tiles, TTRPG books, and board games, nothing mind-blowing, but more than enough to get a new campaign rolling or add to your collection. The manga and comic section is sizable too, though I can't speak to the quality since that's not my scene. Events happen regularly, which is great in theory but a bit awkward in practice if you're not partaking. If you need access to the back wall where the tables are, you'll likely be squeezing past players mid-match. If it's accessible at all. The entrance can also get pretty bottlenecked depending on how many people are milling around. The store's clean enough for a hobby shop, but if you're a germaphobe, maybe bring hand sanitizer. The staff are helpful when asked and otherwise leave you to browse. Every now and then one might get chatty, but not in a bad way. The whole place is welcoming with that typical nerdy vibe you expect from a place like this. It's a very inclusive store, if that's your thing. The prices are as you would expect. If not on the higher side. We like Generation X. They've got the biggest selection of the stuff we're usually hunting for. Still, I don't know why, but we're always looking for an alternative. From the few photos and the name, I thought it would be more of a children's bookstore but I was so wrong. As soon as you enter, the amazing staff welcomes you and is eager to help you find any books you are looking for. Right at the entrance they had the fantasy and romance section which is a personal favorite, and I immediately found a couple of books that have been on my list. I absolutely LOVED that they had self published books from indie authors, which is so rare to find at any local bookstore (you usually have to wait for them to be re-published by a publisher to find them anywhere besides Amazon). They also have a children's section which is super cute, and I found a couple of things for my little one. On the top floor they have a couple of couches for you to hang out and a section of used books. Frankly, this was one of the best bookstores I found in the DFW area, and I can't wait to come back and support them!
