Plus, Mrs. Pattie at the register is an absolute gem of a person. She managed to reply to my FB comment asking about copper Bundt pans, remember me when I came in and walked up to her and asked about the pans, find me in the store later and said "the owner of the booth is in the store and would be willing to offer you a discount on her pans." Literally so thoughtful and I scored a lot of deals. I collect copper pans and a few other things and am very excited to come shop again.

Their employees are not paid!!!! The 90% off sales are insane and We love seeing their volunteers friendly faces every time we go in. Being a Single mom of 2 boys this place has been an absolute blessing for name brand clothing for them and the best spot for teacher and classmate gifts! Saved a ton of money buying nice used sports equipment here as well. I go once a week at least sometimes twice. As far as the mask comments, I choose not to wear one. The volunteers are of many ethnic backgrounds and I've never , ever seen any racially motivated anything happening in this store !!! Every one is helpful and very accommodating. **** keep in mind this store like most other stores during COVID does not offer a public restroom. They do not have to either. I simply run across the street to any of the restaurants and use their restroom if needed. Fred and his team took excellent care of my clock needs!…read more I've had a tiny cuckoo clock (except there is no cuckoo bird!) that my dad had brought home from Germany in the early 1950's. I don't remember ever seeing it run. I've had it for years and finally decided we should get it looked at. I had another mantel clock that needed service because a new battery did not make it run. Took them both to Promenade Clocks. The cost to repair/clean them was totally reasonable. And they were both ready for pickup in less than a week! Fred and his shop is a treasure right here in Richardson! It's almost like a time museum. Fred showed us around and he really knows his clocks! We loved hearing the stories and how many of the clocks work and their history. Lots of one-of-a-kind clocks available for purchase.

But really gave me funny look as if I was stealing clothes. I have never felt like that before from a salesperson. Then I bought the two shirts and Maria asked if I left my clothes in the changing room. I said no I left them hung up on hangers outside the door. She said well you are supposed to put the clothes away. I have never heard of this? I liked the clothes. But she was not friendly. Even my daughter made a comment that she thought that was strange. I dont plan to be back evwn though they had decent clothes.
