I found some brands I really love that I hadn't seen in a few years. Last but not least, the employee working at the store was kind and walked us through some of the items they carry. The atmosphere is relaxed with upbeat music playing in the background. Esther mentioned upcoming workshops that will take place next door. They offer gift wrapping and will wrap your flowers which is a lovely touch. I picked up some dried flowers and a card. They encouraged me to explore local shops across from them. She was inspired to build this business after she made a dreamcatcher for her newborn daughter. CBG is a "place meant to ignite your creativity and leave you feeling inspired to try something new." A metaphysical, vintage, and gift shop that sells everything whimsical, spiritual, and trendy; from houseplants to crystals, vintage clothing to locally made jewelry, macrame art to bath essentials. You can't help but feel creative in here. CBG participates in all kinds of local events and festivals, and hosts their own as well. Like poetry reading nights, jewelry making, and full moon tea and tarot ceremonies. Lots of creative energy going on! She also reached out to the post office to try to get information, as the tracking number wasn't working. She continuously kept me posted, which was much appreciated. Her customer service was off the charts. Luck was on my side though and the event was rescheduled to a week later and I ended up getting my kit in time. The kit included a personalized note. The kit was high quality. I hope to do business again with her in the future.

If you like to collect manga and want to see a huge variety of selections, this is the place. I really like that they also have a selection of manga in Japanese! The art book aisle is awesome. It's hard to find art books in other bookstores, and even places like Barnes and Noble won't have a selection as varied as Kinokuniya. Despite the endless aisles of manga, I've surprisingly noticed that they're missing a few decently known manga. Unless I keep missing it, I've never seen The Case Study of Vanitas in their aisle, but they have the author's other work, Pandora Hearts, in there, for example. I would also say Kinokuniya is limited with their selection of anime goodies. I like that they're all very much authentic and different from your typical anime store selling pop figures and easy to find Bandai/Banpresto stuff, but their blind box selections are also becoming easy to find in other places because it's all the mainstream shows. Overall, if you're looking to expand your collection, this is the place to go.

But honestly, if you are traveling with kids, then you can't do everything with limited hours too with this outlet store in an industrial park. First, this place is near industrial park so it is a journey to navigate to find this hidden gem. Once you find it, you got to find the outlet entrance is way in back. There is a small awning with Mattel store where you will see double doors to open to pallets of toys. There are bathrooms to the side and also baskets and carts. Signs will tell you what the sale is going on and also limited edition toys will have separate signs on discount and limits. Generous discounts but do your homework on Amazon to make sure you are getting better deal since a lot of toys are retired. American girls and Barbie's have limited editions if your girls are fans. We noticed the latest movie toys like he-man has smaller discount but still decent selection. There is random rack with clothing and bags which is different. My son loves hot wheels and Minecraft and some of the things we haven't seen on clearance. If you need help, workers are there to help which is nice. Also inventory changes as the doors in the back goes to the factory floor so they will bring new items on pallet to mark down. Checkout lanes were more than one and also workers make sure to check and make sure all are discounted. If you spend enough then you can get one of their surplus items for a small price like $10. Kawaii Kollections has a variety of collectible figurines, anime, house goods, cell phone covers and more. I was fascinated to see the selection of Japanese snacks and drinks that they carry too. The staff was friendly and helpful and also enthusiastic about being there which is always a good sign! The manager was very engaging and I enjoyed my visit with him. When I checked out, I was pleased with the value I received on the items I purchased. Specifically I purchased Squishy Dumplings for my grandkids and they were a much better price than many others I have seen.
