After many years of business with this company - I can attest that Griffith no longer offers the value and satisfaction we once experienced and often boasted about to others. The techs are great! Although those in leadership do not possess the acumen required to fix problems they cause, or mitigate recurring circumstance which erodes our trust and confidence in their company and degrades the value we once experienced. As such, we're given no choice but to pack up our multiple accounts to seek partnership with a servicer that values our business and doesn't make their inability to meet a reasonable service mark the customers problem. More than 32 hours after Griffith supposedly dispatched an emergency supply of oil, their technician still hasn't arrived leaving us without heat! We notified them Thursday that we were low on oil, despite being on their automatic refill plan, and were told they would deliver Thursday or Friday, which didn't happen. The Saturday delivery they also said we'd get didn't happen either. We've been customers since 1996 and pay over $500/month. Clearly they aren't interested in retaining our business! read more

Under no condition should you do business with Griffith Energy Services!!!! Their customer service is terrible. No matter when you call, you'll spend at least 10 minutes on hold. No one takes responsibility for anything and it's impossible to get anyone with any authority on the phone. They've held on to a $500+ refund that they owe me for over two months and are saying it will take ANOTHER 2-3 weeks to process. Customer services reps have hung up on me, sent me to voice mail (I've left messages, but no one returns my calls), put me on interminable hold, and have told me "there's no one available to speak to you because they are experiencing high call volume." read more

I've been a customer since the Community Blankenship years - since the mid nineties, and it's gone downhill lately. The reps don't follow up, are rude, sound careless, apparently do not care at - which is really surprising and very sad. They seem shady by changing policies without any warning, and they are overcharging. It's really a shame that a reputable, fine organization can take such a dramatic nose-dive. Why should I have to negotiate my oil price AFTER it's delivered? These guys overcharge. On two occasions I called to inquire about the billing and they lowered the price. Not bad, but I think of all the folks that just pay the bill. Shop around before you sign any contract. These guys seem shady and jack up prices. read more

These reps are the WORST! They are a very unreliable company and God forbid you have an emergency and you run out of oil, they won't give a damn. The owners allow the customer representatives to treat their customers like they don't need their business. I suggest using Quarles or using diesel just to avoid using them. We were customers for over 4 years and every time we call with either an issue, to ask advice or a question, they are so rude and careless. Most importantly, this company is unreliable. They told us that they would deliver oil 2 days after we called but they didn't show up for a week and every time we called, they promised that the truck was on their way... Please don't give money to them. The new owners and management are awful people. read more
