They always have great menu suggestions if you are unsure, and are quick at making drinks, and bringing out food. I'd like to mention, I had a situation where I was being harassed by another customer but Eloy handled the situation swiftly and professionally. Easy for me to say after that, I have no doubt that this is a safe place. 2. They cater to different interests on different days of the week. My favorite day to go is Thursday for karaoke night, the DJ in charge of karaoke is so great and encouraging! 3. Inclusivity is a huge thing for the LGBTQ community, and sadly some LGBTQ bars aren't as inclusive or safe as you would think. BUT NO WORRY, Liberty bar has gender fluid bathrooms, and is handicap accessible! 4. Last but not least, the food is priced very fairly, and drinks are as well. Their signature cocktails are always a hit, and you can never go wrong with the potstickers. If it wasn't clear earlier in this review, I highly recommend this business. It's a great place to ice break on date night, or just come and make new friends in a safe space. It's truly like family here.

Liberty is a New York-themed bar and poutinerie. Rather than pay for meter parking in the front,…read moreyou can park for free in the back. My wife and I arrived shortly after doors opened on a Saturday. The bartender manned both the bar and tables by himself, and was efficient and friendly. We started our meal with mac and cheese bites and fried pickles. Both were about what you'd expect. For our entrees, I ordered the "basic bitch" poutine, while my wife got the "Harlem Hanni" with a side of onion rings. Both the poutine and Hani fell short of my expectations. The poutine desperately needed salt, and the Hani was a bit dry. Like the appetizers, the onion rings were standard. If you're looking for a casual, fun place to get drinks and some bar food, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here. On the flip side, Liberty is classified as a poutinerie, and the poutine was below average.

I had been meaning to try this business for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger. The…read moremenu for this restaurant falls along the lines of an expanded bar/Bistro menu with a heavy emphasis on sandwiches, wraps and burgers. Having heard good things about their Burgers I opted to go with their Classic Cheeseburger and fries for $15 and two of their house margarita's which were the drink of the day on Tuesdays for $5 apiece. Realtive to the burger, it was quite large at 1/2 lb and definately a two hander. It was well made, quite juicy, with fresh veggies and very very tasty. The fries were well made as well with a nice crunchy texture and quite tasty in their own right. Lastly my two Margarita's very well made and oh so good where I had only planned on getting one but opted for two after the first sip. NICE! At $5 a piece this was an absolute steal! Relative to facility and staff, the restaurant is visually very appealing with vibrant Irish accents, neon sign's everywhere and TV's scattered to allow you to watch the big game of the day while enjoying your meal. The decor defiantely adds a lot to the dining experience. Staff was very friendly with great follow up throughout. Overall this is a great bar/restaurant whose reputation is well deserved. I definately will be returning in the near future, probably on a Tuesday, so I can get some more of those tasty margarita's. :)

I understandably had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The host was good at getting me seated. I ordered as soon as the server was ready. I got a bbq pork sandwich, which came with homemade chips. I was REALLY disappointed that the "silverware" was packs of plasticware. This is a sit-down restaurant and bar, not a fast food joint. There's no excuse for that, imo. At first bite, the chips were good, But they cooled off quickly and weren't so good after that. The pork was just kind of bland. Not a lot of flavor, not much sauce (and I'm not someone who likes much sauce in the first place), and the bun was nothing special. But, the staff was nice, so there's that.
