This was a lovely stop on our trip to Michigan! The bartender was super friendly and happy to help us. We got the Sweet Beet and House Salad and they were huge portions. Both were absolutely delicious too. We also got the Bang Bang Shrimp, which was also super tasty. Surprisingly, it came atop a bed of spring mix, which was even more salad. We tried the Old Town Alt, the Baltic Porter, the Scarlet Shadow, and the Hazelnut Java Stout. They were all really tasty as well. We did think it was odd that most of the beers were served in 10oz pours though.
Easter weekend Saturday afternoon, place was incredibly quiet. Only two guests for most of our visit. Here is what we liked: * Immediate seating but we were the only ones there. Chose the bar. * Good beer selection and beer was good. * Rueben egg rolls were crisp, good corn beef. What could of been better: * Only one's there and the service was lacking. Wasn't rude or horrible just unattentive. * Rueben egg rolls seems a little pricey for 3 at $15 for an appetizer. But they were good. Would like to visit again, see if it has a different vibe. It was ok but just seems off a bit today.
We came here after visiting the Nearby escape room and we were ready to continue having fun. We had not been here before but one of the people in our group had heard great things about it. We were able to make a reservation for a table for six and when we arrived we were seated promptly. The server was very attentive and made several trips back to check on us throughout the meal. We all ordered drinks that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our meals came and they were delicious. I ordered a shrimp po'boy and I really wish I had a second stomach because I would've ordered another cuz I was so good! The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the roll, well not quite as crusty as I'd like, still held up to the sandwich. I wish I would've gotten a picture of it but it was so good that I ate it very quickly. My husband ordered the prime rib sandwich and loved it. The meat was flavorful and tender and aus jous you was perfect.
First time visit to Fillmore 13, but it won't be our last! Great beer, fun menu and the food was excellent! I tried the Kiev collab beer which donates to Ukraine. Such a great idea and the beer was delicious. We shared some wings and the spicy sausage pizza and it was great! Our friends loved the prime rib sandwich and the chicken club. Everything was delicious. We did an escape room at Erebus first and eating at Fillmore was a great end to the evening!
This is one of our favorite local breweries. We've been going for years now. There's a nice selection of beers and everything is really reasonably priced. Staff is always kind and attentive. The place has a good vibe and it's a great place to grab apps and drinks. Favorite food menu items are definitely the pretzels and bang bang shrimp. Also don't skimp on the shoe string fries (ask for aoli with them)!
This place became the destination for pre drinks for the Andrew McMahon shows over the weekend. Even Andrew himself stopped in for a drink on Friday before the show! Since I attended both nights and I like beer, this worked out nicely! Located right across the street from the Crofoot and right next door to another brewery, it's the perfect hangout. I sat at the bar both nights and I had varying experiences between the two. On Friday night, the bartender seemed to be having a bad night. Not sure if they weren't expecting a crowd? Maybe she was caught off guard and overwhelmed? For a while, I thought I did something wrong, but I saw her talk to several people the same way. Fortunately, on Saturday night, I had the same bartender with the opposite experience. She was friendly and inviting. I can forgive and understand when anyone dealing with the public is having a bad night. The beer was good. I had a flight on Friday to figure out what I liked, then a couple of pints of my favorites in Saturday night. We met shine people at a long table on Sat night as well, and that was a positive experience. The waitress did her best to take care of a huge group and the place handled it well as we added more and more people, despite the chaos we may have caused. I appreciate that they serve wine as well, because that's what my wife drinks. It's nice when a brewery has other drinks for the non beer drinking members of the group! I had the grillmore cheese on Friday night with chips, which I would get again! In fact, we returned after the concert Sat night to eat there again, but they stopped serving food at 10. Guess we'll have to come back next time we're in town for a concert!

I chose The Fillmore before it's directly across the stream from the Flagstar Strand Theater, where I (and probably everyone else there) was going to a show. I understandably had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The host was good at getting me seated. I ordered as soon as the server was ready. I got a bbq pork sandwich, which came with homemade chips. I was REALLY disappointed that the "silverware" was packs of plasticware. This is a sit-down restaurant and bar, not a fast food joint. There's no excuse for that, imo. At first bite, the chips were good, But they cooled off quickly and weren't so good after that. The pork was just kind of bland. Not a lot of flavor, not much sauce (and I'm not someone who likes much sauce in the first place), and the bun was nothing special. But, the staff was nice, so there's that. read more
We really enjoyed Fillmore 13 Brewery. Super cozy, good drinks served up quickly with a smile. Scratch made food, amazing homemade made chips. The cuban was super good, grilled cheese was also tasty. Located in downtown Pontiac by the Crofoot. We will definitely be back. Open late! read more

Service is hit or miss. Always seems to have an issue here or there. Tonight's issue is repulsive. Carry out Reuben egg rolls, two rolls cut in half. One is fine, the corned beef is pink as it should be. The other was grey meat and smelled off. The chef should have noticed this when the egg roll was cut open. It was obvious the moment the box was opened. Of course, this was not discovered until it was opened at home. I'm not going to take it back, but this is terrible. And I'm sure not going to eat it. Don't eat the food here. Beer is good. No. Beer is great. Service is marginal. read more

When in an area that I haven't ever been in before, what should a thirsty traveler do, but find a local place, with a great selection of house made beer and a nice pizza menu. On this recent trip we took to the downtown streets of the metropolis of Pontiac. It seems to be an area of revitalization because the police presence was bigger than average (like 3 cars and a number of officers). I suspect there has been trouble in paradise in recent times and the police were hanging out to ensure that people had a quality experience. Fillmore 13 is a cool little spot with a sweet vibe. The staff was eager to talk and tell you about their place, which is always a good sign in a place you've never been. The beer samples while sitting at the bar were nice, before you decided on a pint of something excellent. Honestly, the best part of the experience was the bartender, who was a young and hip young lady with a passion for doing what she loved. We tried cider and an IPA, which neither disappointed. Food wasn't on our agenda, but the couples on both sides of us had plenty of smells to lend. I would definitely come back to have something to eat next time and sample a few more craft beers. read more

This is a great spot located in the heart of downtown Pontiac. I really wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first time here. Walking in, I loved the spacious atmosphere and warm, inviting ambiance. We sat at the bar and looked over the menu. We ordered a couple of beers and sat and chatted for a while. This place is quite large with a big outdoor area as well. This looked like the perfect place for a party! They have an area with long tables set up by the windows and a gathering was starting while we were there. He also mentioned that there is a downstairs area as well that can be rented for parties! We were headed to a couple more breweries and none have food so we decided to eat while we were here. We shared a flatbread pizza and split some chicken tenders. This pizza was delicious!! I had to stop and contain myself because eating the whole thing would be a very bad idea. The chicken tender seemed to be home made. They did not seem frozen. They were not over breaded or overly crunchy. Overall this was a delightful experience and I'm so glad he brought me here. We both grabbed tagabrews and got our passport stamped. We still have to get his stamped at these locations so we will be back! Definitely recommend it here! read more
Great styled place in Pontiac. I tried the Reuben egg rolls and they were incredibly tasty and quite filling. I'm not a beer person - yes I know it's strange going to a brewery if you don't like beer - so my dear friend recommended a mead - some kind of magical drink blood orange honey I think - I had 2 more glasses of that, it was really smooth and good. We also tried a pear salad(super yummy) a burger with bacon jam and garlic goat cheese on a nice brioche bun. I wish there was more bacon jam (I honestly couldn't find any) and I get picky with my goat cheese, it was a little thick. It was a Friday night so the service seemed a wee slower than we'd liked but overall a cool place to go. I'd definitely return to try something else on that menu, and definitely more mead! read more
It's exciting to see some moving and shaking happening in downtown Pontiac. With Detroit showing a solid re-birth and being priced out of the average person's range, Pontiac is set up to take up the overflow. This was our first time here and it was a bit underwhelming. We ordered a pizza, the artichoke feta one and it was easily the saltiest pie I have ever eaten in my entire life. I don't know if this is a mistake in the dough, or from the cheeses or maybe how they prepare the artichoke. Honestly, I couldn't figure it out but it I did feel like I was having a salt lick and I actually let pizza slices waste as opposed to taking it home. Let me say that again, I let pizza slices waste. PIZZA! WASTE! ME! and THE PERSON I WAS WITH WHO IS A PIZZA FIEND!!! So that was highly disappointing. On the plus side was their beer. While it wasn't anything unique, they were all very tasty. The IPAs tasted like IPAs, the Barleywine tasted like a barleywine. There were no surprises which can be a good thing and a bad thing because it really didn't give me a reason to want to come out here again. Although i know I will because I always want try different things before I make a final answer. Aesthetically, the building is very nice. It's a large piece of property with plenty of seating and a large bar area. they also have a second room which is quaintly decorated. This really reminded me of Sherwood Brewery a few years ago. And if they can make the same adjustments it will turn into a topnotch spot for people to come and enjoy a beer and a meal. read more
Had Calamari and Pinot griot! Went before a concert at the Strand! Perfect location to walk to venue! It only had beer and wine but was a nice atmosphere! Andrew the waiter was great! Very nice and knowledgeable about the menu!! The decor was inviting. Really liked the table near the window but the bar was hopping! Pontiac is on the way back. Will definitely be back to experience the goodness!!! read more

First time at the brewery/restaurant. Started with the Reuben Eggrolls and Bavarian pretzels, their 2 top appetizers. Very good. For dinner we ordered the ribs, apple slaw and seasoned shoestring fries, as well as a small crofoot pizza. The ribs were very tender and house bbq sauce very tasty....not overpowering with any one flavor. Lots of pizzas past us while we were waiting, and we discovered the reason....they are GOOD! Loved the abricot Belgian beer. My husband had a hard time deciding between the brown ale and Irish red. Both were so good. You need to check this place out! read more
My boyfriend and I visited this place yesterday on a fluke. The original bar we were going to dine at was closed at the time we got there, so we just hopped next door to The Fillmore 13 and I'm so, so glad we did. The atmosphere is pretty dope. And our server, Paige, was EXCELLENTLY FANTASTIC. She was funny, bubbly, super attentive and helpful. To start our meal, we went with 2 appetizers. My boyfriend got the soft pretzels & beer cheese, which he wasn't crazy about. But the cheesy bread? Totally. Annihilated. It. That was the besssst cheesy bread ever. After appetizers, Paige politely suggested some beers to my boyfriend - he ended up getting 2 on the flight that she mentioned out of the 4 total - and really, really liked those two. Paige also told me if I were to get anything pizza to get the Margherita - I did just that. Mozzarella was the bomb. Sauce was perfect. Crust was just the right amount of crisp and chewy. I will say that it took a bit longer for us to get our appetizers and food than it should have, which is why I'm not giving 5 stars. Maybe it was just an off night or the kitchen was short staffed. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt. Overall, this is a super good place to go for food if you're by The Crofoot for a show. Highly recommend! read more

Filmore 13 is a cool spot located in Pontiac. We were on our brew hop around the state and Fillmore 13 was next on our list. This was my first time at this brewery and I just thought it had a super cool vibe. I love the location and accessibility to the downtown area. I don't frequent the Pontiac area, especially since the Lions moved back to Detroit. I was impressed to see the revitalization of the area. There are actually some really cool spots close by Fillmore 13, so grab a beer or some food and hop on down to the next spot. I really enjoyed my IPA, he ordered a brown. Great beers and friendly service. The actual building is very cool and there are multiple areas to hang with friends or just sit at the bar. Take a walk around the brewery and check out the decor! My friend has been here before so he was familiar with this brewery and the area. I would like to come back and try some food when we're not so busy "hopping" around! lol read more

I'm not much of a beer drinker, but my boyfriend loves the beers here. Food wise, this place serves okay food. Pro tip: There's half off pizzas (less than $10 for a 14") on Mondays from 6-10pm with a purchase of a drink. Super great deal since their larger 14" pizzas can serve 3-4 hungry people. I've tried the Fillmore Bellies pizza as well as the Prosciutto and of the both, I really liked the Prosciutto pizza. The touch of arugula on top really helped contrast the richness of the garlic and cheese. Also tried the reuben eggrolls a while back and thought it was alright. It was a little watery inside from all the cabbage. In the end, Fillmore 13 is a staple of downtown Pontiac and is here to stay. read more
