I had a very delicious breakfast burrito and my grandson, who is 9 had a pair of huge pancakes with berries. It was to much for him so Grandpa had to step in and finish them up. My wife as usual had the eggs Benedict. Which apparently were pretty good since she didn't talk the whole time she was eating. (Thanks griddle cakes). Well if i had read Garrets review i probably would've gone elsewhere as my experience was similar with sub par food and just no service at all after the plates were down on the table. Had the sloppiest looking meal with burnt toast that i couldn't even send back as the server never came back again after plates were served. Had to go up to get the check as they were already busy counting receipts at 11am n the place was empty! To me id drive to EggWorks as they are always super nice n really show pride in their products n service. Lived in the area for 2.5 years and decided to give this place a try but for the price point charged i would at least expect great service!! After seeing it on several "lists", the hubby and I decided to go check it out. I can't say I was sorry we tried it. I got the "gobbler". Great music, awesome food and most importantly the staff is super friendly and funny and generous. They suggested that I try the one on Decatur since it is where I live and it is a total rip off. Nice, local breakfast spot in Henderson. Food was flavorful and tasted great. The pancakes were light and the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The wings were "much" smaller than I'm accustomed to and somewhat resemble "chicken nuggets." However, they were good. They were cooked perfectly, (lightly, not crispy or hard), and weren't greasy or oily. The dining area is sufficient size and can accommodate large groups. Got Griddlecaked again! Thought this was the good location but I guess it's two and done. Ordered the single cake and made it a combo. That added an egg and bacon/sausage for $5.99. The waiter asked if we wanted bacon/sausage/ham. We said "oh, you can get ham?". Flash forward to the end when we get the check. Extra $3 for the ham. asked the waiter if that was a ham up charge. One of my favorite parts of living in Inspirada is having this place so close. Best place for breakfast in Inspirada, the food is a 10/10. Couple that with attentive and friendly staff and a chill vibe with a killer view of the strip... you got yourself an awesome dining experience. My husband and I along with our friends had breakfast here for the first time. The staff was welcoming and friendly. My friends 7 year old daughter ordered a Shirley Temple (sprite & a splash of grenadine). The server kindly said he would double check if they could make one. The manager/or maybe even owner overheard the conversation and said, "yes, we can make it but I'll be right back." We noticed he left, purchased what he needed and served us a Shirley Temple. That's what I call great customer service! The food was also amazing! I ordered a Gobbler Skillet and my husband ordered a ABC Skillet. My husband and I were impressed by the portion size and taste! The FOOD. Omg the food... It was so good. I got the Lover pancakes and they were to DIE for. Keep in mind the serving sized though if you go for any of their pancake specials. The waiter tried warning me, but I still ordered two pancakes instead of one. I only finished about half of it before throwing in the towel. They were huge! This place is definitely worth it to go! This place is one of those conundrums, wher eyou go and you want to like it based off of the menu and the food is decent enough where you are kind of on the fence of whether it is good or not. So you come back a second time after reading reviews of the place from others int eh community and the food tastes better, but the problem with the services is apparent. So you hold off again on determining whether this place becomes a regular rotation choice. So you go a third time and the service is good, but then the food is mediocre. I'm gonna have to go a fourth time, maybe this is one of those hit or miss places, I am not sure. Smaller place, but amazingly the communication between people being there is pretty good. I did not have to shout or have issues listening to my conversation. So it has that. I mean in no way is it intimate, you wont take your significant other there and then get all hot and bothered and head home to get all sloppy with each other, well maybe you will, everyone has kinks. And it is in a weird ass location, why they built stuff in that area is beyond me. I'll head there for a fourth time and swee what i think. We've been to another Griddlecakes location several times and it's always been great but this location is lacking. The food was decent but 0/10 on the cleanliness factor. EVERYTHING from the menus to the condiments to the restroom needs a serious wipe down. We even watched an employee drop a knife on the ground next to our table, pick it up and proceed to put it back in the silverware container next to the soda machine. This place made me want to vigorously wash my hands... but I couldn't because the restroom didn't even have soap. Hopefully the employees bring their own soap to wash their hands before preparing food here. read more

My family was excited to try Griddlecakes as a nice family option in this part of town. We came in on a Monday morning and there were a few tables occupied. We were kindly greeted and seated right away. Our waitress got beverages out quickly and took our order as soon as we were ready. My husband ordered the traditional eggs Benedict. He loved it! The portion was generous and served along side breakfast potatoes. I built an omelette of bacon, shredded cheese, peppers and onions. It was HUGE. It came with a side of breakfast potatoes and toast. I really enjoyed the omelette, it was very generous with the toppings as well. I was stuffed! And I packed half of it to go. Our children ordered the happy face pancakes with side of bacon. Those were a hit for the kids, they loved the whipped cream smiley. The pancake it's self was huge. And the two slices of bacon were a thick cut. Our children loved the meal. Although they probably could have split the one pancake as it was a big portion. They send the table out it's own bottle of syrup, the nozzle on it is very kid friendly. It's a slow pour and the kids enjoyed being able to dress their own pancake without making a huge sticky mess. The coffee was fresh and delicious. Plenty of cream and sugar/alternatives on the table as well. For our family of 4, breakfast cost us $60. It's a bit pricey. However the quality and the portions definitely cover the price. Not somewhere we could eat on a weekly basis but a nice treat for us every once and a while. The restaurant itself was very clean and open. It has a beautiful view of the mountains and the strip. Until they build the casino right there :/ I hope they're able to keep some view. It really is beautiful to look out at while enjoying breakfast. The menu is a great size and I would say there's something for everyone. Our waitress was friendly and prompt, she did a fabulous job as she seemed to be the only waitress on staff that morning. Also bussing the tables once people left. It didn't affect her service what so ever. My family will definitely be back for special occasions. I've been a regular customer since they opened this Henderson Bicentennial location. I've have pretty much gotten great service every visit, and for the one day they messed up, they more than made up for that. Great food too. Restaurant is simple, but nice. One of the senior managers asked that I provide this yelp review if want Griddlecakes to consider offering jalapeno bacon. A near-by competitor offers jalapeno bacon and it is delicious and worth any extra charge added. I am so glad I finally decided to give this place a try! For starters, the employees here were very nice and had a great attitude. I tried the "High-Rollerito" and I was pleasantly surprised with how flavorful it was! It has very simple ingredients but still managed to pack so many flavors. We were so excited to try Griddlecakes in Inspirada! We got the breakfast sandwich with buttermilk pankcakes on the side and the breakfast burrito. The breakfast sandwich was good but the hash browns weren't crispy or cooked all the way. The burrito was bland and missing any sign of seasoning. The pancakes were okay but had some sort of artificial vanilla flavor in them. I prefer a straight buttermilk pancake without added vanilla. They were fluffy though.
