A fridge, microwave, toiletries, fluffy pillows and towels, lots of space to place your items as well. Out on the balcony there is a cute little bar sitting area and the fire pits. It is so cozy you really don't want to leave. There are drinks at the front and the staff are amazing! The female as well as the tall gentle man were great! Wish we got names. Walls are a bit thin but besides that get you a room and watch tv all day in their fluffy beds. Perfect place to relax! Will be back!

Our hosts couldn't have been kinder or more helpful! Not only did they prepare perfect meals, and have a lovely room, they told us about the history of the inn, and helped us find local genealogists who could help us on our search. After all, they are on Balsinger Road, and I was looking for Balsinger ancestors! :-) We enjoyed walking around the beautiful property in the evenings. They had to laugh when I asked if there was any place nearby who sold rocks. I told them I liked to save rocks from places that are meaningful to me. I explained that my part of Texas has few rocks but lots of clay. They were still smiling when they said "we have a great big pile of rocks out back, so help yourself!" (I really wanted just two) I thought that was really sweet and thoughtful! I was very sad when I read the really negative review of their B&B and of them personally. They were nothing but kind to us. We love B&B's and always try to be guests that would be welcomed in someone's home, and give our hosts as good an experience with us as we would like to receive from them.

First, some of these previous reviews are a bit harsh. I would like to mention that the innkeepers, Nancy and Bill, do run an extremely tight ship here at the Inne. With that being said, the moment you step on the property you would understand why. The outdoor areas are beautiful, and impeccably well maintained. Once you walk inside, you will notice antiques galore. There is nothing about this bed and breakfast that is overlooked or not taken care of. It's extremely clean, and they are still taking covid percussions. As you book your stay you will notice that this isn't a "Hampton Inn establishment" Nancy, the innkeeper keeps track of everything on her own, mostly with pen and paper. Nothing here is done at morph speed, and based off of other reviews, it seems as though some guests take this the wrong way. When you arrive, the innkeeper will meet you in person and ask you what you would like to drink for breakfast the next day and if you would prefer a 8AM, or 9AM dining time. This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast, so I didn't really know what to expect. We stayed in the "Laurel Suite" which is also known as the honeymoon suite. It was $199 for the night, and most certainly worth it. The bed was giant, with a huge sitting area and private bathroom with jacuzzi tub. I was really pleased with how quiet the Inne was, we slept great! It was tough, but I managed to plan for all of the other rooms in the Inne to be booked by family and friends staying for our wedding, this was one of my favorite parts of the whole weekend! Just being able to be together for the wedding, know we were all safe, and then eat breakfast the next day was amazing. We also took full advantage of the beautiful firepit outside, we sat out there pretty late and just enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surrounding farmland. The next morning for breakfast I was very happy with what the innkeepers prepared for us, again, it was Nancy and Bill making the food and bringing it to our tables themselves. They do it all! Beautifully presented stuffed french toast. This wasn't an optional meal choice, but they did ask if each guest wanted sausage or not (which appeared to be high quality) Ultimately, our stay was great. We had a wonderful wedding and a wonderful stay. The area itself, although it may not feel like it on the property, is still in Uniontown PA which is a very slow paced town (I can say this, I grew up here) Uniontown is a very old school town, and for the reviewers to say they are not welcome here, I could understand the feeling but also would like to say as the bride who booked the entire bed and breakfast, spent lots of money, and stayed here... I still didn't get the "Hi, so happy you're here" feeling from the Inne. The personalities here are quite serious, and to the point. I am telling you, don't take it personally. Their home is attached to the Inne, and they take everything that happens here very seriously - along with who stays here, they just care deeply about the Inne, and after staying and seeing how involved they are, I can understand the personalities described a bit more - they're busy people, trying to keep this place in perfect shape. If you are someone traveling from out of town, visiting Ohiopyle, or other destinations in the area - this is a wonderful, beautiful, quaint place to stay. Don't expect anything to be "at your finger tips" like we tend to do these days, booking here is like you take a step back in time. To me, once we got through the booking and planning, everything was smooth sailing. Rooms are nice, clean and affordable - and breakfast is provided! The outdoor areas may not have a pool or anything, but there are hammocks, 0 gravity chairs, and other nice perks. Please be mindful when booking, I would ask if there is a wedding going on that evening - you might not have the peaceful stay that I described in my review (since we were the ones up late that night and there was no one else staying at the Inne)

I thought it would be wise to find a hotel close by rather than risk facing early morning traffic driving in from Pittsburgh. Connellsville was as close as I could get. Sitting on the edge of the Youghiogheny River, this hotel was a welcome sight after a long drive from Pittsburgh. I reserved a room with a King bed and river view. The view proved to be irrelevant because I couldn't see the river in the dark. Just as I entered the room, the fire alarm went off, so I went downstairs to find no one gathered. In fact, the patrons at the lobby bar didn't leave their stools. I couldn't tell when I could return to my room because the front desk staff was nowhere to be seen. A false alarm, I guess. For $127, I found the room satisfactory and quiet enough. Dining options were paltry unless I was willing to drive. There was a casual spot next door, though I walked ten minutes to an alternative spot for sushi. I got up early because Fallingwater was still a 40-minute drive away. We stayed at Hyatt Place Pittsburgh-North Shore before this Comfort Inn. Amazingly, it was a much better experience. We had two rooms. The rooms are very clean. We had river-side rooms with the view of the river. The location is amazing. It is right on the Youghiogheny River and next to the GAP bike trail. Make sure to ask for a river-view room if possible. There is a nice porch in the back from the breakfast area where you can enjoy the beautiful river and the trains rolling past in the distance. The hotel has a little bar, the rates are very reasonable. Also, make sure you do not miss the restaurant next door, The River's Edge. Really great food, great service. The elevator was not working when we checked in. So we carried the luggages up the stairs. Not a big deal. Still won't take away from a great hotel stay. This Comfort Inn is a hidden gem. We certainly will book again when visiting the area next time.

My mom and I stayed for a few days and were in awe of how sweet and cozy (and affordable) this BnB truly is. The BnB serves as their family farm home and the upper floor is the BnB. They just recently built the home with accents of wood and stones collected from the farm itself. Kelly (owner) welcomes you with plenty of info on activities in the area, and their family is delightful. She cooks a beautiful hot breakfast every morning (french toast, eggs, bacon, etc etc). Nearly every evening, she baked a treat of some kind to welcome us home. It was truly a home away from home. Not only is the BnB centrally located, but it has the most beautiful landscape and view. Sitting on their front porch swing watching the sunset reading a book became our favorite way to spend a calm, relaxing evening. Can't recommend this BnB enough! The pictures don't do it justice.

The day before started out in Rockwood was a chilly 38°. The morning we woke in Connellsville it was 31°. The breakfast that Lucy served up with the help of her apprentice Brittany was delicious. The beds were great, the hot showers were perfect. The rooms were clean and well appointed. While there were televisions in the rooms, it was nice not to turn them on and glow in the beautiful memories of the day on the GAP trail. Connellsville B&B is just a few yards off the trail, making it very convenient for trail weary cyclists.

Just happened across a listing for this charming inn, located on the west side of Confluence, on the internet and was so happy I booked. First off, the Inn is located on a quiet street in this charming town along the GAP trail. The town is separated by rivers, but the west side is closest to the trail, you walk literally four blocks from the trail to the oasis, I mean, the inn. Rooms are perfect; great beds and linens, bathrooms are spacious with great quality towels, soaps, etc. and all rooms have individually controlled heat/cooling units (one has a gas fireplace for those cold winter nights). The staff are beyond amazing, completely friendly and super-helpful, there's nothing they can't answer. Breakfast is worth a stay alone. Two courses at each breakfast along with juices, coffee, tea, etc. They alternate sweet and savory, so if you stay for multiple nights, you'll sample different menus. Seriously, this is one of the very best Inn's I have ever stayed at. I know they're a bit more pricy than the other places to stay in town, but it's totally worth the cost. If you're biking/hiking the GAP Trail and want a splurge night, you absolutely must book the Smith House, you will not be disappointed, I promise. Trust me, you owe it to yourself to stay at least one or ten nights at the Smith House.

The hostel was spacious, immaculate, and warm. We paid a couple extra dollars for towels and blankets. There are 3 single bathrooms that were modern with standup showers and plenty of hot water. There was a whole kitchen with fridge, microwave, and coin operated washer & dryer. Bikes can be stored indoors also. We were too tired to enjoy a separate living room that was stocked with games, books, and magazines. I would highly recommend this place to anyone on the Gap trail that plans to stay overnight near this Rockwood PA.
