She put me on hold and then she said yes, I said oh ok. Well low and behold yes there was a shelter that held 3-4 people no door or heat in the back of a closed store and I was told that no one was allowed in the red fort hotel due to someone ruined it for the rest of the drop off ever again. There is more to this story and I would like a phone call or a number so that l can explain more to upper management. I think he was charged $5 too :) The driver made sure we were all accounted for as we waited patiently for the others to arrive. When they didn't show, driver made a courtesy call to see if they still needed the ride! The weather was nice for January and we made great time, stopping once for bathroom and snacks about halfway thru. The ride was comfy but we got a bit chilly sitting in the back. We requested heat and received it!! Yippee for warm toes. Tips and tricks-- Get a punch card. Ride 10 times and get one free! Sit closer to the front. It might be warmer. Travel pillows or blankets would be ok to bring. Say hello to your fellow travelers. Make new friends!

I had a very concerning experience with one of your shuttle drivers the 0800 timeframe…read more First, two of your vans were parked in a manner that made it difficult for other vehicles to access the East Mesa Trailhead parking area, laughing thinking it was so funny. Later, I encountered one of the previously mentioned shuttles with Utah license plate T32 1ZD driving aggressively. The driver came up behind me at a high rate of speed and began tailgating me. Unfortunately, the same shuttle continued following me toward Zion National Park. When it was safe to do so, I pulled over and allowed the shuttle to pass. The driver then accelerated away well above what I would consider a safe speed for the area and tailgated other vehicle. Speed limits exist for a reason, especially in and around a national park where there are winding roads, pedestrians, bicyclists, and wildlife. Driving 10+ mph over the speed limit and tailgating other vehicles creates an unnecessary safety risk for everyone on the road. I hope management addresses this behavior and reinforces safe driving practices with its drivers.

There is a place to eat with several picnic tables too. There are some informational signs explaining the history of the area. The landscape is red / orange and full of places to explore and hike around. There are some neat little caves, arches, and assorted nooks and crannies. Great place for everyone to enjoy. I saw families with little ones climbing and hiking, and adults of various ages traversing the rocks. There is a way to hike up to the top of the largest peak, but it is slippery getting up and down. There were some people practicing repelling down from the top. Enjoy the photos.

We only explored a very small portion of the area as we needed to mosey on over to our final destination of Zion but it def looks like something we'd be all-over if we're in the area again. The views are spectacular but be sure to bring water, hat and sunscreen as there's not much in the way of shade--at least in the St George portion we reconnoitered. Happy hikes, kids!
