After he was hired, my husband, his parents and myself went to Utah to drop him off and to check out Southern Utah. Andrus has a number of terminals in other states. We wanted to move out of Phoenix since the crime rate was so high. We also wanted to focus on raising our daughters in a positive and hands on way of live. When we lived in Phoenix our life was basically wake up, work, maybe have family dinner and just going through the motions of living each day. Things were the same thing each day and we wanted to be there for our daughters. When my husband started working after we went to St. George, Utah we began to see why so many truck drivers told me how Andrus isn't like other companies. They valued the employee's and their families. I worked at a truck stop in Phoenix, AZ which gave me many opportunities to ask drivers what they thought about the companies they worked for. Andrus Transportation by far had more positive experiences. I can't count how many times they have been there for our family and for drivers and employee's. Every now and then things didn't go the way we wanted it. If something was wrong or my husband needed to get home or if he had problems. They were there. My husband has been working for them since 1996 and he has never regretted it. I can see why do many drivers recommended Andrus when I would ask them about the trucking company they worked for. I can even count how many times they have gone above and beyond. I've never seen any businesses of any kind that has the heart that Andrus has.
