There is generally a long wait if you don't come here within the first hour of opening, so do take care in getting here early if you want to minimize wait times. We ended up waiting 40 minutes-ish, which was fine with me. We did finally get seated, and since we spent the whole morning looking at the menu. We ordered the fried potatoes together. He got the fried chicken on toast for his main, and I got the lamb breakfast sandwich. I thought the food was only ok. The fried potatoes were decent. The cook on the potato was not really what I expected, as I thought the potatoes would be crispier. The sauce really saves this dish. I had a bite of the fried chicken on toast and it was pretty good. The chicken was well cooked and nicely seasoned. I also thought my lamb burger was just ok. The meat was pretty good but I wasn't a fan of the bun as it was a little dry. We did also order drinks. My boyfriend ordered matcha. He said it was ok and wished it was a little stronger. I had a caramel latte and thought it was good. Overall, this is a decent place to get brunch. I think if I were to come back, I would maybe try different menu items. I got an iced tea (that I no longer see in the current menu) and my boyfriend got a matcha with strawberry milk. I thought my tea was pretty good, although it was a tad too subtle for me. I could taste hints of peach but not much else. My boyfriend liked his matcha drink and thought it was one of the better matchas he's had in our short Winnipeg trip (I would agree). Our mains came quickly. He ordered the chiquilas (and he ordered it with chicken) and he really liked it. I had a bite as well and it was a nice interesting flavour. I was craving bacon and eggs so I ordered the classic breakfast. It was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was good and crispy. I added sausages on the side and I'm glad I did. Overall, this is a great place to have brunch. They have cocktails as well as a diverse drink selection. They have some interesting stuff on the menu, such as the Palestinian breakfast, which I am curious to try if I ever come back.

If you like extra veggies, you'll enjoy this wrap, because taste and overall quality of ingredients is top notch. Today is Friday so the 'soup' is chili. I have to say that this very well might be the best chili I've ever had anywhere...and I'm quite particular about what I like. The chili has a LOT of nicely seasoned ground beef, is thick & has a nice blend of spicy and flavour. For what you get, the price is exceptionally reasonable. I will definitely be back next time I visit my dental office which is in the same building. Parking is limited but you can always park NE of the cafe in the BK/Dollarama lot and walk across the street. It's worth your time.
