I had a prior health condition that raised concern for surgery so he had me contact my primary doctor to schedule a pre-op to make sure I was good/safe for surgery. This all was a smooth process. Out of interest after reviewing other patient's reviews, I wanted to have Dr. Peters do the impacted teeth removal surgery. Nothing against Dr. Schwarzkopf as his biography seems very impressive. I just saw a really good shout out for Dr. Peters and took interest in her work. During my surgery day, the lady at the front desk was very kind and professional. The nurses were lovely and had a lot of patience. Dr. Peters approach was very professional. Definitely had her game face on and was ready to pull some teeth out. When I was woken up by one of the nurses, she helped me up and walked with me to the exit. Before I got into the car, my groggy but happy self couldn't help but give the super kind nurse a hug. They were a great team and that office only gave good vibes. The after care kit makes me feel spoiled as they provided a very good quality head wrap, vanilla mint lip balm(my favorite) and basic necessities for post impacted teeth removal surgery. The receptionist kept saying "We don't have a periodontist." I asked her "Do you have a dentist for a deep cleaning with numbing?" She said "Well, yes, but we (and she sighed) don't have a periodontist." I don't need a periodontist. I don't need an implant, my gums and jaw are not weak. I called my regular dentist office back and was referred to a different office. I called the new office with no issue. They knew exactly what I needed. No muss no fuss. I really don't know what this lady's problem was, but she must really hate her job.

Where do I begin. Went to then at the end of August 2023 . Was told I needed the deep cleaning with…read moremeds , my wisdom teeth out , and two crowns done. They wanted to jam all these visits into 4 visits! FOUR !! They quoted me at like 2500, and I took out a care credit loan (paid in full as of August 27th 2024) At my first visit (8/31/2023 they did the deep cleaning (1,337.00) My second visit 09/05/2024 they did half my mouth the meds for perio (1,318.00) Third visit 09/11/2024 (640.00)other half of my mouth with meds and temporary crowns for the two that needed done . They did this even though I told them I couldn't afford to pay for the permanent crown until into the new year. DID YOU KNOW temporary crowns are only supposed to stay in your mouth for two weeks? I had no idea . 4th visit 09/12/2024 (2,814.00) got 3 of my wisdom teeth removed. They did an xray after , and after I had been home for over an hour calls me and tells me I need to come back in because they found a WIRE in my gums from when the dentist put my temporary crown in on 09/11/2024. The oral surgeon removed it and said I had an infection and put some meds on it. ( that is when I should've started to raise hell but was was coming off of being under and didn't think to say anything ) they then sent me home and I proceeded to have the worst pain of my entire life . Like nobody can describe oral pain. I went back in mutiple times and the dentist would not listen to me . So I went to Altoona Smiles (Dr. Daniel's is amazing and I recommend him so much) He doesn't understand why they'd even put a temporary crown let alone two in my mouth when I said I couldn't afford the pertinent until the new year. So guess what I had to go ahead and pay for those temporary's to be redone by Altoona smiles and then two weeks following get my permanent's in. I am now a patient permanently with Altoona Smiles . I recently got a message from a debt collector for Aspen. Apparently my claims with them all denied and they had never called me to tell me . Altoona did after my first visit and my insurance company fixed the issue and reprocessed the claims . That is literally all they needed to do. Aspen didn't and now after talking with my dental insurance they will do everything in their power to get those claims from 2023 reprocessed . Moral of the story is Aspen Dental just thinks of you as cows going through the slaughter house. They truly do not care about you . Always check reviews, before making an appointment. Hopefully this review saves some people the pain and suffering . I now have major anxiety with dental care , but my dentist understands and knows how to handle with care . ASPEN DOES NOT HANDLE WITH CARE!

She took my name, phone number and email address. I arrived at 8am on Friday and was advised they had accidentally double booked my appointment slot and I would need to reschedule since there was only one dentist in the office that day. The receptionist was unapologetic for the double booking. What was even more frustrating...they were aware of the double booking but neglected to call, text or email me advising me of their error. He delayed my treatment and wouldn't even say hello, whenever he had to interact with me (which were rare occasions). He could have just said so, instead of treating me in such an unethical, inhumane and humiliating fashion at the most vulnerable time in my life.
