Although the Matcha Brownie was warmed up, it wasn't as great as I was expecting it to be, but maybe I just had held high expectations for it. The Biscotti Testarossi had a pleasant almond flavor to it, although it was almost too sweet. The café was clean and modern. The staff was friendly. Wasted my money three times on this coffee. They taste terrible. The Latte I tried was gross had a floating dry piece of fruit in it. If you want good coffee dont go here. Gregorys is a decent coffee place. It has all the basic coffee offerings and some food options as well. For downloading their app you get your first cup of coffee (up to $6.50) free! I'd say this was the biggest draw to me coming here. Without the promise of free coffee, I'm not sure I'd come back. Their locations are pretty convenient, so if you need coffee and want to download the app to get it free, I'd say go for it! But it's probably not worth going out of your way. read more

Love Gregory's Coffee for their vegan breakfast options. I've ordered the burrito as well as vegan croissant sandwich before, and both are great. The croissant sandwich is hearty breakfast, quite salty but in an indulgent way. The staff were friendly when I went, and checked in with me asking if I needed anything when I was just waiting for my sandwich. The sandwich was a little messy and not the most perfectly arranged or beautiful sight, but was delicious nonetheless. The croissant is more on the dense side, not like a super fluffy fresh baked one (I think they get them prepackaged and just warm the whole thing up in the toaster oven), but nothing serious to complain about. I used to like Gregory's, and the atmosphere is charming and pleasant enough. It used to be a reliable place to get decent and very strong iced coffee, and it was always conveniently located near whatever offices I used to work in. However, the new coffee cocktails are strange and interesting in a way that makes me not want any more coffee cocktails ever (or at least without alcohol). Even worse, the unfortunately named Cinnamon Blowout pastry was inedible and stale. Believe me when I say I NEVER throw away food, but this thing was harder as a rock and tasted dry, miserably unloved, and begged to be put to rest in the garbage. Between this and the pomposity of the owner, I have finally decided to cut this relationship off completely and give up on Gregory's for good. UPDATE 10/31 - There was a COCKROACH crawling across the ground and a girl freaked out and somebody screamed. The barista went after it but it crawled under the benches. NEVER COMING BACK. read more

I've been ordering coffee from here for a while and its amazing. I always get the Carmel macchiato and it's the best one I've had. I decided to try their food items and it was a huge let down. I tried the New Yorker and it looked nothing like the picture. It was soggy and about a half an inch thick. It looked like someone had sat on it, I immediately threw it away as it was uneatable. I decided to give them a second chance with the banana/chocolate muffin. The muffin was dry and lacked flavor, both times a waste of mCoffee 5 stars, food 2 stars. Update: RIDICULOUS. I order a Carmel macchiato and it arrives basically a third empty. Yes I know there is foam, but this is unacceptable as I have ordered this before and it has come full. This is half done. Short story: 1. roaches (giant style) 2. Hair 3. sweaty smelly post gym people 4. No bathroom 5. Some times are good to study ,if you don't mind #1-4, and nice staff. Its the giant ROACH that warrants the one star. Not the first time. When you see the giant ones during the day it means there are SO many they are being forced out from crowding behind the walls. Take a look around, long hairs on the tables. I like that there is NO BATHROOM at this location it made me think it might be cleaner but its not. The muffins do not taste fresh. At one point when they first opened the bean tasted really good, now - its not memorable. I used to like this place to read in because its VERY SMALL, and not too loud. When I describe this place to friends, that this is a post gym place where people stop in from the many nearby gyms and absolutely WREAK of body odor with no care in the world as they drink their latte. Here's your latte with whiff of BO on the side. Since you choose not to reply to my questions privately you must not be reading them. Thus, I have to post it here. These are serious issues. Fall oat boy is so good!! Highly recommend plus awesome name. We ordered from here for breakfast and everything was perfect. Drinks still iced. Perfect sweetness level and cinnamon yum. I come to this Gregory's practically every day. Their lattes aren't the strongest, but they're certainly smooth and creamy, and their cold brew is amazing. They also just started stocking the large size cup at this location (not sure whether this is going to remain a thing). Also, if you order one of the "cocktail" drinks for here, they'll make it in a cute little tumbler with mint and fruit garnishes - but if you're searching for a caffeine fix, these aren't going to do it. Pastry selection is as dope as it gets, and even if you manage to exercise incredible self-discipline and sit within fifty feet of that scrumptious display without getting anything, they bring out giant-ass samples every afternoon. I've definitely consumed three or four entire donuts' worth of freebies at this point. There's no bathroom and the space is cozy, so it probably wasn't meant as much for as much sitting and working as I do (problem solved if you're an EQX member and can use it across the street), but the giant glass window looking out onto Broadway is great for people-watching while you charge your phone in one of the many handy outlets. Plus points for the super friendly baristas, who even kept my wallet for me when I lost it and cancelled my card that night when I didn't return. read more

While there is seating, it is often occupied by students and their laptops. The quiet atmosphere despite the small size of the shop makes it ideal cafe for studying.
