A friend stayed here and it looked so lovely I booked it for a few days to celebrate my birthday…read more It was magical. The cabin I stayed in was comfortable with two beds, a fireplace which I used. It was so lovely having a fire going when it started to rain, hail and then magically snow. Sidenote: Magical was the themed feeling for this trip lol. The kitchen is a FULLY stocked kitchen with everything you would need to cook or bake with. I even found coffee for the coffeemaker! I relaxed by the fire and read to my hearts content. I love that you can bring your pet for a $35.00 charge. Well worth it to have my best buddy with me on my bday. FYI: You can buy wood for the fireplace at the Lazy Trout about four to five minutes drive from the cabin. Cannot wait to rebook a stay!!

The place had everything a family needed. Plates, utensils, coffee maker, toaster and bakeware. The host provided communication up to the day of our check-in. Place had easy parking to load and unload suitcases and groceries. We were guest of the two bedroom cabin. Our teen wanted the room with the T.V. so my spouse and I got the spare room. The bed was very uncomfortable and less as nice as the main bedroom. It had some cleanliness issues as well. The owner was told of the cleanliness issues. The living room furniture needed some upgrading as well. Fireplace was nice. Wifi is provided. Overall the place is cute and just like the pictures.

Lost Resort Restaurant:…read more Pros: view is phenomenal and food and beverages are good. Cons: restaurant service is horrible; We're there for father's day dinner and from the getgo server/ greeter named SARAH is very rude with a capital B. We felt unwelcome and dislike right stay, we didn't travel thousand miles away just to be treated like that. We tried to be the bigger person and be polite and courteous but it's no use, Sarah continued to be rude. My kids ordered Ceasar salad and fruit bowl but it was forgotten, god forbid we had to ask for it and she got upset. I would like to add though, that the other two servers are much more nicer and accommodating; codus to them.

This place is gorgeous and the restaurant is set inside a barn, very spacious and airy. The waitress that helped me recognized me from earlier as they had a table at a small community fair happening in town and I told her I would stop by. She was like hey you came back! She put me right by a seat where my views of the Little Colorado River was just effin gorgeous, and there were also three smaller ponds next to the LCR. There was also live music here tonight and Terry Williams was phenomenal. I could not find his work online. Since it was such a beautiful setting, I thought why not enjoy a nice cocktail here! I chose the Jalapeño Bizness and substituted the tequila for mezcal. It was quite delicious, with a slight kick and so refreshing! For dinner, I had the chicken hatche chile mac which came with a salad. Salad was fresh and tasty. The chile mac was just OK but my goodness the portion was enormous and I had to take the rest to go. Overall, a very lovely restaurant and highly recommend you stop in, even if just for a drink. The place was relaxing, classy, and definitely what high mountain living is all about. Make sure you bring a jacket when the sun sets in the evening, because it will get chilly, but such a nice reprieve from the Phoenix inferno!
