The only thing that let me down was the dessert. I had the lemon tart and while nicely executed (nicely done crust, good tart texture) it was overly sweet. There was a wee bit of ice cream which I suspect was homemade, it was super creamy and tasty, but again, just overly sweet. The overall effect was a bit "cloying". Great space, relaxed, service for our large group was excellent. Afterwards we all sat outside in the lovely garden and had a visit. All in all a good place to go for a group.

Good for the sport of a Saturday, we attended a great midweek pub quiz there a couple of months ago. Solid, suburban and unspectacular. Not the place that you would actively seek out, it is however somewhere that you are glad that you came to once you get there.
