The lady welcomed me, knew about the appt and told me to take a seat and wait a few minutes .... She was working on someone else and I was okay with waiting a couple minutes ... 15 minutes later, she asked me to soak my feet in water and was nowhere near done with the other customer .. I was like mhm ok ... after 25 minutes, I couldn't do it anymore. I started to take my feet out of the water and told her I couldn't wait any longer and that I understand things happen but to not take reservations then ... instead of apologizing, she goes "things happen, people take longer, that's how it goes".... I don't think businesses that last run in an unorganized manner ... if you're in the area - beware! Use another nail salon in Astoria! Unless you don't mind aimlessly waiting ..

Proper technique does not require aggressive buffing, and the damage is clearly due to poor prep, not my nail health. I've had regular manicures for years and never experienced this kind of damage. My nails are now taking months to grow out and recover. I would not recommend this place, especially if you care about the long-term health of your natural nails.

I think this spot is definitely worth it. You can't tip on your card so they give you numbers to zelle for a tip. I prefer to use zelle its actually really nice. This place is so good to me its worth the 30 minutes travel time from my home. The prices are very reasonable and I haven't had a bad experience yet. I personally get an acrylic fill with gel color. Then the matching gel color on my toes. I spent only 112 today which can be a lot for some, but I go monthly due to slow nail growth. I appreciate that they have an Instagram page so I can sort of get an idea of what I want before I come. They are fairly easy to get to by the N train. I find myself taking the R train in because its a nice little walk. I'd recommend the mango pedicure if you have extra cash. They have tons of gel colors here, there's something for everyone. I've yet to break a nail since I've been coming here for a straight 8 months. Carmen and Flor have done my nails the passed couple of times. They both went easy with me knowing I have issues with my wrists. There's no chemical order in this location and its cool inside with their huge AC. If you see a mistake was made on your nails just speak up and they are happy to help. Highly recommend this place. I never feel rushed, I'm a walk in all the time. But they do have appointments if you'd like to make one.

I've never had a pedicure that left my feet and legs so soft and smooth! My feet felt so soft even in my socks and my legs were soft for 2 days after. I had my nails done today by one of the sisters . She is one of the owners .This sister yelled at me years ago for leaving gel on my hands and not pre-soaking .
