I must say, we tasked Greenline with quite a project of grooming a mess that we acquired in our backyard property line when we moved in. We weren't sure what to expect, but the results were definitely above and beyond what we expected! The process began with a relatively simple and information walkthrough. Prices were not given at the time, but realistic "challenges" were explained to us. In our case it was leftover rock disposal, removal of a shrub, and the potential of uncovering any other surprises while digging and leveling. A walkthrough was completed by a manager/owner(?) and one of the crew members. We were scheduled for a time frame, between 2 and 4 days. On day one it was kind of odd when they arrived because for one, it was around 230pm when they arrived to start. Also, we came to find out that only 1 person was going to be working on the project. It seemed like an incredible amount of work for one person, so we were skeptical. We were working from home throughout this process, so we were able to go take peeks of the progress. The first picture in the collage I attached, easily took the entire first and second day due to the mess and surprise old pond setup. This one guy, with his pick-axe, just kept chugging away at the mess and ripping it up. The truck had to drive away multiple times to dump off the debris, especially the big bush we had ripped out with their Dingo stumper remover. When it was all said and done, they laid down some hay barrier, as you can see in any of the right side photos I attached, to cover the dirt and hopefully prevent anything from sprouting up in the remaining portion of fall. Pros: -very efficient and removed EVERYTHING we asked -great price, was a couple hundred under the quote we were given even though it was more work than expected -excluding day 1, he started around 9 or 10am, took a break for lunch and finished around 6pm -no mess left behind Cons: -left tools and equipment behind overnight and throughout a weekend that he didn't work. They've been mowing our lawn for a few years now very happy. We've also used them a couple times to trim bushes and our giant hedge, very happy there too. Fast, neat, and great cleanup. There is usually a bit of a wait for those special projects though, so get on their list early. I wish they wouldn't blow mulch onto my porch though. read more

They offered to come out and cut my lawn using their smallest mower possible. Not to mention, they arrived 3 days later--talk about super fast service! My lawn looks amazing. I have never had such a bad experience with a company, as I have with Greenline. They didn't come to cut my grass the entire month of July. Three straight weeks. It was up to my knees. I figured it was because of holidays and because it was very warm. I had been watering my grass every day so it was literally up to my knees when I called on 7/22 to cancel my service with them. I asked for a refund for the month of July, as i had already paid for the whole month at this point. The woman on the phone said she would have Brandon call me about the refund. It is now days later and I have left them over 10 voicemails, with no reply. I hired another company to cut my grass on the same day I cancelled. They were great!! They, cut, edged, and bagged my clipping for 20% less than Greenline. THE VERY NEXT DAY ON 7/23, Greenline came to my house and cut my lawn again, right after the other company cut it the day before! It was like they were trying to make up for missing me all month. The pictures below show the terrible job they did and how they left mulch and leaves blown all over my yard! I am still waiting for my refund and at very least a return call, however, I'm not holding my breath. If anyone is thinking about using this company, look at the reviews.. the trend is 1 Star. If you are caregiver for your parent and their home, avoid Greenline. They are terrible for disabled people and seniors who cannot go outside and re-install the downspouts that Greenline mows over every week. They destroyed several plastic downspouts and ruined landscaping by crashing mowers into our brick retaining wall, causing it to fall. Expensive for low-quality work. In addition, their weeding service pulled out nearly $500 worth of new perennials in summer 2020. Their customer service is non-existent. Every year, they repeat the same mistakes. When you call to complain, they refuse to listen, wish you a "Blessed day", then hang up on you. read more

These guys never called me to renew my service and without any response from me saying I wanted my service renewed, they just came out anyways and expect me to pay the bill. No response to me wanting to continue my service means I don't want to continue my service. Regardless, they are not getting their money. We paid $225 on November 16th to have the fall/winter package to have our gutters cleaned, leaf removal, and edging done. They did clean up leaves twice. Never ever edged or cleaned gutters on the house or garage. We had to do our own gutters. They never call back after we left voicemails about being refunded money or compensated somehow for neglecting the full duties. Won't use this company again and urge you to steer clear! read more

I used GREENLINE LAWN in Troy this year for the first time. This company not only neglected to cut my backyard three different times this summer, but recently neglected my entire lawn for three weeks until the grass grew to 7 to 8 inches. Meanwhile, all of my neighbors' lawns were being routinely cut by other lawn service companies, even if they had to do the lawns a day or two later because of rain. Repeated texts, phone calls, and emails to Greenline resulted in lame excuses and broken promises. Two of my neighbors finally took pity on me and cut my lawn for me. I have requested my money back for the three weeks of neglect Plus a refund of the rest of my contract. Greenline has gone silent so my next step will be to take them to court for breach of contract. Lawn Service companies will be sending out sign-up letters this fall for next season, so avoid this company at all costs. It lies to customers, has a poor work ethic, and makes lame excuses. I know of one other Greenline customer in my subdivision who has had the same problem... there may even be more. Beware! read more

DO NOT use this company. They charged almost $ 200 on a debit card that we had used once or twice for payment, but DID NOT authorize any further payments. Most of the time we pay by check. They did not call or notify us of this charge to our debit card. They not only held onto our credit card information, they used it at their own discretion. In addition, over the past 2 years they have charged us on several occasions for lawn service that was not even performed. We have also had to call several times because of the dirt covering our garage and side of the house, due to their edging. We have contacted our bank and are looking into other options, as a result of this fraudulent charge to our debit card. read more

DO NOT GET SNOW REMOVAL. There have been more then THREE times we had to do our own snow removal and then they show up close to 4pm or 8pm. Basically paying to do the work yourself. Huge lazy scam, they should be ashamed. I'm sure there are elderly that are locked in their houses from the snow. read more

Greenline Lawn Services does snow plowing during winter. We have been with this company for last several years. In the beginning when company was small, service was great. Matt (I believe he is the owner) now does not have time to talk to customers, even after leaving a request to call back. Whenever you call the number almost always you have to leave the message. Terrible snow service. They don't show up for days after heavy snowfalls leaving us to do their work and shovel ourselves out. They have yet to complete a full snow removal for us. I'm pretty sure they drop the guys off to shovel the sidewalks and tell them to complete as much as they can before the driveway plowing is done because they never shovel the entire sidewalk.
