They are not reliable and even when they did perform the service the quality was poor at best. Almost weekly I had to ask if they were going to show up. After contacting them I would receive repeated confirmation that they were behind but that I would still receive my weekly service. They hardly ever showed. I have been a past TruGreen customer, I did not want another run with horrible customer service from the home visits to local management. Paxton responded with his services and specifically set up a program for what I needed and requested for my lawn. Precision offers different 'Step' programs, 4,5 or 6; mowing, aeration, grub control and other services. Precision used Advanced Turf Solutions for applications, a Michigan Based Fertilizer Company. Which I feel is a positive effect for Michigan lawns. Compared to other companies, Precision is very competitive and beats larger less reputable providers by 40%. Paxton did what he said he would do, showed up at the scheduled time and continuously kept me informed of his arrival. I wanted to meet Paxton for his first visit to walk the yard, confirm my lawn needs and hear about him and his company which I learned has a Noble History. Our first service included aeration, over-seeding and 1 of 6 step fertilizer applications. I have a high slope and shady yard with thick and thin areas. My goal is to even out my yard. I will report back during the season on our progress.

Now they urgently sent a reply saying they apologize for the inconvenience and thats not how they run their company. Buyer beware, no shows..a big red flag, poor communications and just a lack of urgency when this is what they do for a living. As far as I'm concerned I dodged a bullet and you should too! P.S. They completed the project in record time, even fitting me in ahead of schedule, which was a huge relief considering spring rains were on their way. The crew was fantastic--professional, friendly, and respectful of my property. They communicated with me every step of the way, answering all my questions quickly and thoroughly, sending me photos of the work to assuage any concerns. It was clear that they take great pride in their work, and they left my yard in perfect condition, cleaning up meticulously after the job was done. One wrench in the project was that I had an invisible fence line that ran through multiple areas of excavation, and I knew there was no chance that line wasn't going to be cut. What really blew me away, was that Cristian went out and repaired the damage and the line works perfectly again; talk about above and beyond! A week later, the drainage system works perfectly, and my yard is shockingly dry considering the recent heavy rain. I highly recommend Hills Excavation for any complicated and muddy yard-related needs--they exceeded my expectations in every way and I'm glad I no longer feel like Shrek telling people to, "get out of my swamp!"
