Decided to have them remove the tree and grind the stump. Stuart gave me a quote immediately and was able to have a team out the next day. Guys show up a little early, super professional. I had just moved to Atlanta and into a new house so we had a few yard things that need to get done…read moreincluding the trimming of trees and the building of a tiered raised garden. Given my type A personality, I also wanted it done well and as expeditious as possible. Through Yelp we found Jose and his company JJ's Landscape and Tree Service to give us a hand. It can be hard to find someone who you can rely upon and take their work seriously. Will they do a quality job? Will they care about what the customer thinks of their work? All these things were running through my head as I looked for a new person to help us landscape. So I called Jose and told him what I needed to do... tree work, build a raised garden, clean the yard of debris (that the seller left all over our yard) etc. No problem. Thinking that we would have to book 2-3 weeks in advance, I was caught of guard when Jose said, "You want this done tomorrow?" Sure enough, they came in the next day and took care of one job at a time. They helped me put in a beautiful tiered raised garden and then put in dirt into each tier. They then helped me prune back the tree limbs that were hovering over the house. As with any job like this, there is the possibility of limbs falling on things that were unintentional and they took care of these issues responsibly. They came back when they said they would and took care of everything. I will continue to use this company to take care of the grass since now my yard work is mostly complete. Jose has an awesome team of people working for him, they have great work ethic, and they truly care about their products and the people they work for. I will say that they are on the more expensive side, but remember that you are paying for quality work that is going to get done quickly. They are always on time and prompt and respectful of neighbors. They prefer check but will take credit cards as well (for a percent of the total cost). Next time you have a job you need them to complete, you cannot fail with this company!

Since it rained the next couple of days, another two-man crew arrived to grind the stump and were in/out in less than an hour. I will happily consider using them again for non-storm related tree services on my property going forward.

On the day of my appointment I met Milton and Raphael who promptly arrived at the time of my appointment. They made sure I understood the process as well (i.e, stump grinding and how it is handled by a third party who will come on a later date, how they planned on removing the trees, etc.) they're very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable! You can tell Milton has A LOT of experience and reliable references. The great part of Milton being so knowledgeable is the way he explained everything for me (who knows nothing about trees or tree service) he made it so easily for me to understand. On the day of removal they arrived promptly, Raphael knocked on my door to let me know they were going to begin the job. I HAVE NEVER WATCHED SUCH AN AMAZING PROCESS IN ALL MY YEARS OF LIVING. I allowed they to drop the trees on my yard for a faster process, and my goodness was it fast! They roped up the first tree, dropped it and while some of the crew was working on the fallen tree, the rest started roping the next tree. Both of my large trees were down faster than I anticipated. Clean up was beautiful, and thorough to me, they went above and beyond. For them, that's the service that every client should receive and deserves. The saying you get what you pay for rings true for A-Plus, and their name is the service they provide, A-Plus! Stump grinding was scheduled for two days later, and they did a great job as well.
